It was time to try again; leaving her nearly completed dorm room, Levi decided to go investigate the wooded area again around the campus. There had been a shed near the last spot she'd been in, right? That would help her find her way again. Hopefully, she didn't run into any demon along the way this time.
Sporting some jean shorts and a white top tied at her middle, she put on her sandals and headed out of her dorm to leave Popcorn puffing away in his urn. Don't go fillin' yerself up, alright? Behave while 'm out! With the last wag of her finger, she closed the door behind her and made her way speedily outside. The faster she got to the woods, the sooner she could clear the separation of the trees and avoid any unwanted run-ins. The line was in view, as was the shed. Perfect! Her two pigtails halted their bobbing as she got through the first row of trees. She thought she was alone, thinking of where she wanted to turn to explore first. Levi took in a deep breath of air - it was already more homely here.

It just so happened to be that Holly was out at that same time exploring some too. The ghost dorms felt stuffy to her. Okay, well, not that she could it but she just didn't like to sit around her barren room when she had nothing to do. At least outside there were other students or distractions of another type. It had been a while since she'd explored further from campus and decided that it was maybe time to try her hand at the shed again. One day she'd make it through, one day.
She was almost there when she noticed another student up ahead. Normally the ghoul wasn't one to talk to random students but this one she knew. Or had met once but this ghoul seemed cool. "Hey ... !" She waved a hand. Jack, what was her name ... "Levi. What are you doing out here?" Her guess was most likely what she herself was there to do. "Didn't ya want to make some plans about bothering boils one day." Which sounded like oh so much fun.

AH-! AGAIN?! Oh-wait... this was the voice of a ghoul. Turning towards the voice, Levi's expression turned from blank to friendly at the sight of Holly. This was the rough ghoul she'd met with a tail but no ears. Well, this wasn't so bad then; meeting Holly again had been a thought on Levi's mind anyways so it was a happy coincidence for them to meet here. An ear twitched in recognition of this pleasurable meeting.
Holly! Well, fancy meetin' ya 'ere. Just lookin' ta git a feel 'a tha trees 'round 'ere. Come 'ere often? Then she began to crack a toothier grin at Holly's mentioning of bothering some boils. Yeeehehehe~ had me one right 'ere just tha other day! She had to laugh as she pointed close by just beyond the entrance. ...'n always lookin' fer some plannin'. She raised a brow in interest while attempting to walk further away from the shed. Someone might see them conspiring; Levi motioned with the tilt of her head for Holly to follow her for a bit of a stroll behind the veil of trees.

Good, the other ghoul stopped. She was glad to have gotten the name right and glad that she indeed wanted to talk. Holly had wanted to talk more when they first met but it wasn't the time. Now though, now they could plot. Feel of the trees? What was there to feel about trees. Must be a thing with what Levi was, she did have an interesting tail. "Here? Not much but every now and again." She was about to ask the same of Levi but remembered that she was new.
Holly grinned. Look at her, already getting into bothering with out her! "Already? Remember which one it was? If I know him, I can bug him about it later, did ya win?" She hoped she had! The ghoul closed the distance between them, so they didn't have to use raised voices. Ah, planning in the forest. Made sense, fewer students in there. She followed Levi's suit and made toward the forest. "So, what was that first brawl like then? We'll have to think of some funny things to do yes?"

Yep, nothin' like 'a good whoopin' ta git ya started, eh? Swear tha boil was some sorta....bird fella. Name 'scapes me... She laughed at remembering how startling it was to suddenly find herself in the air though. A lesson was learned about jumping onto prey's backs that day. Got 'im good tho. By tha end 'a it, had 'im pinned ta tha ground beggin' ta be let up. Good times...I'd call that'a win alright. She nodded with her steps. Good sport though, lotsa fun. This could've been taken seriously or as sarcasm; it was not made clear.
Holly seemed eager to learn more about Levi's tricks and that was just fine with her to share. Holly seemed like the type she could band together with and achieve much greater goals. So she mentioned her ace in the hole trick she wanted to unleash some day. The details were still in the making for her even, but it was something that she decidedly wanted Holly in on if she were ever to achieve it. Yeeheehee~ been waitin' on a package ferm home, actually. Somethin' in there ta maybe git a lil' fun outta some cussin' boils. Other than that, been thinkin' bout somethin' ta do with food. That one'd be a riot. Rubbing her chin, she looked to Holly to check her expression at this new information as they strolled.

Defiantly had to agree that sounded a lot funner then other meetings she had with boils, certain boil. Much rather just hit them than talk to them which was also the difficult part no matter who it was. Bird fella? "Bird huh? I can't even think of who'd that be." Holly knew of some boils that had wings but couldn't think of one that had feathers off the top of her head. "I guess wings would be the most distinguishing feature of someone huh." She was interested in how had wings though, who was it, have to look into that later. The ghoul grinned. "Have to be a win, if ya pinned him! Bet he was wishing that'd never happen huh?"
She was always up for learning some new tricks and teaching some of course too. Wish she was able to fight more in her natural form since if was well, more natural to her but the humanoid worked just fine. Holly was interested, defiantly interested. "Package? Forget some super fun prank or something at home. What about food, I've never thought about doing anything with that before." The ghoul thought for a moment. "I may have some ideas, too." She grinned. "Liking the forest so far, gets better as ya get away from the shed."

Oh sure thing! Boil was tryin' ta git up n' all but- kept him down in tha dirt. She laughed again at the memory of it. Tapping at the side of her head for a moment, she tried to recall the name of the boil again- it was on the tip of her tongue. Alas, she still could not give Holly a name. Surrendering to this realization, she allowed her hand to fall and sway as she walked.
Yep ,it'll be super fun alrite. Could sure use 'a hand with it too when 'it comes. An invite now seemed best just i case the package arrived tomorrow. Really, it could be any time; she didin't want to rush preparations for it or anything either. Some of the best plans required time. 'bout food, was thinking a usin' some plants ta change tha colorin' a yer mouth. Imagine smart mouth boils havin' polka dot tongues? The ghoul gave a hearty laugh at this concept. Truly, she felt it was such a smart plan - smart mouths having colorful mouths. She wasn't able to predict that this would be the actual result, but Zebra wort sure had worked during Botany class to change Steve into a polka dotted pattern on the outside...
When Holly mentioned that she had plans of her own, Levi perked and became all ears. Oh yea? Se wanted to hear what kind of trickery Holly had in mind; maybe they could exchange ideas. Indeed, the forest was a place she seemed to be able to enjoy. The mentioning of the shed had her wondering what was in there- perhaps she'd investigate it one day. For now- there were tricks to talk about.

Holly thought for a moment and got the feeling that she never wanted to fight Levi if she didn't have to. Most of the boils that seemed to like to fight were in shape and if she could pin them. Dang. That tail probably helped some. Her own natural form included a tail, why didn't she herself have one? She'd have to look into that later. "Mind showing me that move later? How you pinned him I mean, if it was anything special." Would be a good thing to know, just incase. She decided to just ask about the winged boil later.
"Well I'm always up for fun so count me in! Whatever it is, whoever we be pranking, I'll be up for it." Well, there were some in this school that she'd not prank but those were ghouls. All boils were fair game. The ghoul rose a brow. Plants could change one's mouth color? This she did not know! Oh the things you learn (or relearn) after dying. For a moment she wondered if that worked on ghosts too. Holly grinned. "Oh that sounds like fun. Could do that one day during lunch and strike a lot of boils yah?" That one sounded like a lot of fun.
She thought for a moment. Her plans weren't anything great. Her trickery had been slow recently due to certain events. That and the lack of others wanting to help. "Ah, well, one I was thinking. I know a boil or two that hate these minipets with a passion. Would be funny to release a lot of those critters in their rooms for them to find later." So many minipets that one lone boil couldn't handle himself.
The air of the shed had finally left her. It did a while ago actually. "I don't think I've been this far into this part of the forest before."

Well, sure! Good ta know how ta take 'em down n' keep 'em thar. Can show ya tha move I did any ol' time! Not really anythin' amazin' but sure works well. Holly wasn't very buff by appearance, but her willingness to learn was what mattered to Levi. Holly had the right mindset; pinning was an important thing to learn for any given roughhousing.
She chuckled at the willingness of Holly to join in any trickery plans and Levi felt she may have found a perfect partner in crime. Holly even offered up her take on a lunch time attack plan for the Zebra wort prank. Sounds like tha rite way ta do it, yah! Yeeheehee~ them boils'll be all scarfin' down their food none tha wiser. She snickered at the thought of all those colorful mouths and the tantrums the boils would have in not knowing how it had happened.
ah-minipets! Ya don't say... hmmmm! She smiled and nodded while she envisioned a stampede of critters crawling all over some smart mouthed boil who'd seemed to have agitated Holly enough to have her pull this prank on him. I'd certainly be up fer that sorta plan! She didn't want to assume that Holly would want her in on the gameplay of her plan, but Levi offered her assistance anywho out of interest for it.
Yea? ... Pasuing to look around, she squinted to the spot where the shed should be and saw a speck. This was indeed pretty far and the trees here looked as tall and sturdy as any of the trees back home on her mountain terrain. Would be nice ta have 'a dorm right 'bout here, eh? Right 'in tha woods. Not that Levi didn't adore monster dorm and her fellow monsters therein. The woods just had this serenity about them and beckoned to the tatzel.

Holly chuckled. "I haven't been in any quarrels that have required taking someone down but a good thing to know from the sounds of it!" Never to late or early to try. With all this trickery talk, who knows, it would be a good thing to learn since there was trouble to be had. She was much more willing to learn from a ghoul than a boil too. The food trickery just sounded hilarious nor would they even get caught if approached right! Sneaking was a thing she was pretty good at. "That'll be exciting then. When might you be planning on doing that one?" The ghoul thought for a moment. "Might want to plant it in different kinds of food since all these different creatures eat different things." Heck ghosts like her didn't even need to eat a thing.
She nodded. "I've experienced a few times with at least two boils that they dislike most minipets in any quantity. I'm thinking that a whole lot of them would be great. I've one of mine that is particularly good at trickery." Oh her bakeneko, that thing was a master of it on its own. "If you have any minipets willing to help, then by all means, we can think on that too." The more the merrier and this way they could possible hit more boils in this plan.
Stopping for a moment she looked up at the trees. "It would be a great place. I don't like the dorms that much. Being a fox and all, like the open like this." That wasn't a bad idea. "You know what. We could make our own fort here, no boils?"

Levi tapped her chin with a finger in thought. Ya gotta point thar- just figured they'd be eatin' meat mostly...hmm... Tweaks might be needed in that food tainting plan then- Holly was a welcome source to look to for plots, it seemed. She maybe could see what the tatzel was missing. There wasn't nearly enough known to Levi in regards to what the different sorts of critters ate. More recon work would need to be done then in the cafeteria...
Popcorn, her candy corgon, was a sneaker to be sure. If she had the candy corn ready as a treat, that chubby critter would do whatever to get its sugary treats. Levi's ears twitched happily at being able to get in on a scheme of Holly's. It really did sound appealing if those boils were as displeased by minis as she said. huh...Sure thing then! Think I got me a critter fer such a plan...and wouldn't mind seein' yer trickery fellar one 'a these days. She was intrigued by there being a naturally tricky minipet; it could be wise to study its actions and see how it goes about its trickery.
Levi's eyes widened. Why hadn't she thought of that! A place here in the woods would be great. It would be easy findig their way back as the shed was just remotely visible, but far enough for other students to have difficulty finding if they didn't already know it was there. Agreein' with ya completely. We got homes n' all back in ma town, but ain't never apart from tha trees. Learned 'ta hang from them trees before I crawled. She chuckled at the recollection of her early memories in the trees and grinned at Holly.
I'think it'sa great idear... hidden' place fer our plottin', maybe? Can't have any 'a them boils figurin' out our plans if thar listenin' in 'er sumethin', eh? ...It'sa good place 'ere, yep. She nodded, peering up at the canopy and examining the individual trees. She walked under one in particular that looked like a strong prospect. Crouching slightly, she pushed off and jumped onto one of the large lower branches. hmm... whaddaya'think? It'sa strong tree... maybe could hold 'a place... with 'a bit'a work. Sitting on the branch and wriggling to test it's endurance, she idly allowed her tail to hang and sway happily. But how ta do it....
She looked down to Holly for a moment as if to try and find the answer through the fox ghoul. It'll take time, I'd figure... Maybe they could sneak supplies every once in awhile and meet in secret to build on it...

"Well if ya want to bounce any other ideas off me for that trickery, I'm all for helping!" After all the other ghoul had just got to the school recently and wasn't fully into the ways of everything. Holly grinned. "I'll be sure to point him out one day then, and the others that could be victims of this prank if more the merrier." She did know a few other boils from the demon dorms that could be messed up with too then but they could talk about that later since that other prank would likely happen first anyway.
The area from the shed was close to perfect, she'd have to agree. Almost all the other students wouldn't even dare go close to the forest. They themselves wouldn't have to go terribly deep either. "Ya thinking about a tree fort then? Never climbed a tree myself, can't be to hard I imagine." Surely some of them looked easier to climb than others. "I've only the dorms as my home too so another place would be nice." Unlike a lot of students her and other ghosts didn't have a home.
"Yep, nice and safe out here where no one will go. Plenty of plotting can go on without interruptions. I think it'll be cool." Holly watched her jump up into a tree and went to stand under it. "Looks good. Never picked out a tree myself so if ya think it is good." She thought about a fort and how it'd go with making one. "Could work on it slowly, well collecting things in small parts so it's not suspicious."

She nodded in agreement when Holly spoke of a treehouse and the building of one over time. The concept was popular to the tatzelings back home given they spent a lot of time hanging around in trees, developing their tail strength. They’d have to take it day-by-day… moving the necessary supplies into the woods and slowly building up.
n’ nope, ain’t too difficult climbin’ It was likely a good idea to have an alternate method of getting up the tree, however. If Holly was able to climb it, who was to say that other students wouldn’t be able to do the same? That got the tatzel thinking about safety measures… …but we ain’t wantin’ any smart mouthed boil ‘er nothin’ getting’ up there n’ smashin’ up tha place, eh? Reckon we can make ‘a ladder of’a sort …all hiddn’away so they ain’t gonna see jack’all. Smirking, she suggested her newest though. Whaddaya think ‘bout us settin’ up some traps ‘round ‘ere too? … ‘ncase some critter does come ‘a climbin’?
It wouldn't be any trouble for the tatzel as she could just bound up to the treehouse on her own. As long as she knew where the traps were, Levi could just climb in the entry way without any mishaps on the way up. It was a good idea to keep the place hidden high above ground level and booby trapped along various branches to ensure flying or climbing critters were handled with in some way.

The idea of a treehouse sounded exciting and just having a place that wasn't school even more so. Holly guessed that her friend, already showing a love for trees, was on the same page. They'd probably find what they need in the forest seeing that many never really came into it that much nor in this direction. And slowly getting stuff wouldn't draw any attention either. Levi indeed spoke the truth about the climbing issue. "Well, huh. I could climb some but yeah if we did it high enough, probably couldn't get up on my own." How'd they solve this, a ladder did sound good. "I agree, don't want any of these boils finding it either. We could hide the ladder up high?" Well then she couldn't get to it.
"Ya think we'll come to it at the same time? You could always retrieve the ladder for me, that way no one could get to it." Unless they found a better way to hide it. Though that made sense that Holly would mostly likely never be there without Levi. But having a way herself to get up incase she was alone would be needed. "Where to hide, well where ever it will be, it'll defiantly need to be trapped!"
More traps would be good. "Yeah, a few more traps along the way would be good. What if they sent a minipet up to look around or something?" They could trap the ladder up, things that Holly would know to avoid but others would not. Maybe keep a few spare ladders just incase too. "So how high up ya think?"

Figured tha higher tha better, eh? less hasslin' from critters lookin' about. Holly'd mentioned the way up and Levi thought about the various things they'd need to do to prepare a ladder. Jumping back down, she watched for the fox ghoul and hit the ground with a thud on both feet. Looking back up to the branches, she offered to take the first step in building the basic treehouse needs. Right 'bout there we can build the floorin' and I can make a ladder no problem. Got tha ropin' just need some good wood... which I can git from some'a tha branches we don't need.
Levi had no problems with getting the ladder when they came together, but she wanted Holly to have full use of the treehouse too, even if she wasn't there. Well sure! Ain't got a problem takin' the ladder down but if ya ever wanna come 'long one day when I'm in class 'er somethin'... doors always open for ya? Maybe... a latch 'a some sort. hmm yeah- if a smaller thinner wirin' was used ta tug down tha ladder? Ya'll could climb as far as ya could n' just tugit down, eh? Ya git ma thinkin'? Wirin' would be so invisible critters wouldn't know 'bout it unless well- they knew 'bout it! The tatzel was making some sketchy blueprints in her mind of what the mechanics looked like, but wasn't sure if Holly was on her path.
Might be able ta train one'a mine ta check up but... gotta see 'bout havin' one ta stay 'ere hmm. Tapping a finger at her side, Levi considered Sweets for doing flybys to ensure the treehouse was okay but didn't see her staying out for very long. Popcorn was too easily bribed... but if she had to, she might bring him along one day too to learn the route and check up. Unless we train one fer tha job that'll keep ta it... Finding a pet specifically for that purpose was an option. Like a watchdog.
Fer settin' up traps, we gotta git a buildin' goin' first so we'll see all tha angles n' this n' there, I reckon. She nodded with a smile on her face displaying her excitement of the plan ahead. This was going to be good.
