(Scene- A city in the human world full of magical creatures(vampires, angels, werewolves, etc) with humans un-knowing of their presence. They continue to believe that they are just regular people. When the night comes, they all come out to group together and be careless. No humans go out at night.)  Lilly sat on her large purple bed with a book in hand. The book was named "Creatures of the night". She was a strong believer in magical creatures and paranormal activity, though she had no idea it was all real. As she read through the thick book her eyes widened in interest. The book inspired her to go outside and roam even though it was night in hopes to see one of the creatures in the book. Lilly gathered the book, her camera, cell phone, wallet, and a drink and placed them in her tan colored shoulder bag. She slipped out the door of her apartment and past her clueless parents. She came out of the hallway and looked around. The night was silent, but it didn't chill her. Lilly continued walking and went down an empty street. She kept alert and quickly scanned all the alleys and around her. What she saw was nothing, though the creatures lurked in the night, all around her.

 Suki looks to the light spilling out of the open door. "An open door?" Suki whispers to herself. "I wonder why its open.." Suki stands up quickly, losing her hold on her angel cat Mika, but sighing in joy as the wind ruffles through her open wings. With a quick jump, she is gliding down near the apartment building. "Hello? Is anyone there?" Mika meows and strolls toward a pair of legs. A slight breeze rolls to Suki, and she smells something shes only smelled once before. human.

 Scarrlet strolls up behind Suki, hugging her from behind and kisses her cheek playfully. "Hello love, hows your night going?" The breeze goes stronger, bringing the smell of a pounding heart to her attention. "Why is a human outside? How many others are near?" Suki shakes her head in awe, never answering.

Lilly yelps at the sight of the talking cat. She clutches her large book, realizing that they are indeed real. "H-hello.." Lilly replies with shaking hands. She looks up from the cat to see a pair of red eyes ahead. She feels the hair on her arms perk up.
She begins reaching for the camera in her satchel.

Suki steps into light, tucking her wings behind her. "Hi. I'm Suki. Dont be afraid, i'm not going to hurt you. Neither is Mika." Suki extends a hand to the girl in front of her, smiling widely

Scarrlet smiles, revealing her long pointed fangs. "Its nice to eat, i mean meet, you. And if your smart, you wont use your little camera your reaching for. We cant be photographed. The cat can, and so can my little angel here", she reaches over to peck Sukis cheek, "but the vampires have thought about people like you who want to have proof of our exisence." She winks at the shaking girl and laughs

Lilly accepts Suki's hand. "I keep my photographs to myself." Lilly replied calmly. She released Suki's hand and took out her large fancy camera. She then knelt down to the cat and put her eye to the peek hole and quickly pressed the picture button. Lilly stood straight and looked at the picture from her camera and smiled. She bent over and showed Mika the picture. "It's very flattering for you." she smiled warmly. "Oh, I'm sorry, I'm Lilly Kagle." She carefully placed her camera back in her satchel. She glimpsed at Scarrlet's fangs and almost winced.

Scarrlet noticed Lillys glance at her fangs and quickly shut her mouth. If she was going to lure this girl, she had to smart about it. With a sly smile she bent down to tie her knee high stiletto boots. "It was nice to meet you, but i have to run. Sorry about the pic thing, its a force of habit." In a flash, she was running in the other direction, darkness engulfing her

Suki had a curious look on her face as she watched Scarrlet leave in such a hurry. She composed her face back into a soft smile, and turned back to lilly. "Why did you come outside? Most are to afraid to even dream of doing this since they're to scared of our little gang." A wide smile broke across her face. Mika was purring and rubbing against Lilly's leg. "I guess my little fallen angel kitty likes you." A light giggle escaped from Suki, a rare thing even when something was unbelievably hilarious

Lilly looked down at her feet as the vampire closed her mouth and dashed away. She looked up with a raised eyebrow. "Scared? They don't know you exist." she showed her the "Creatures of the Night" book. "I was reading this, and I got curious. The author claims to be a night walker named Leighton who is a demon. Do you know him?" she asked hopefully.
Leighton fluffed his black wings as he sat on the top of a sky rise. His eyes turned red once he smelt a human. He slid his butt off the roof and went head first towards the cement. He then swooped upwards as if he was belly flopping. His large strong wings went up and down until he reached a dark alley, a block or two from Lilly. Every one knew who he was, but had never seen him before. He kept to himself usually. He raised an eyebrow as he heard his name, then noticed the book the girl was holding.

As soon as Lilly mentioned Leighton, Suki felt a chill run over her. "I've heard of him, but never met him in person. He keeps to himself, and not many want to know him." Mika ran east, catching a scent he has never smelled before. "I think we should follow him. It could be Leighton for all we know!" Suki smiled jokingly and winked. "How did you get your hands on that book by the way?" Suki asked as she began walking towards Mika, who waited at the corner of the block.

Leighton smacked his face into his palm. "I just had to write a book!" Suddenly he heard the pitter-patter of paws coming close. He grunted as he sprinted to the end of the alley. He spread his wings farther and folded himself into them, making him almost invisible and blending in with the shadows.
Lilly followed them. She adjusted her hold on the book as she walked swiftly. "Well, I er.." she looked at the ground then up at her. "I found it. Just before the sun went down." She smiled with a blush of embarassment. "Have you read it?" she asked.

Suki stopped short and spun towards Lilly. "It has all of our secrets in it. Leighton wrote it and then sent out notes of its location to a small number of our people. I was one of the selected, but I never finished the last chapter." Amazement filled Suki's eyes as she stared at the human who found the book Leighton wrote.
Mika meowed and marched bravely into the shadows. The slight sound of ruffling feathers and light breathing made his ears perk up. "I know someone is there, and I'll find you eventually. Please come out. I am, after all, and angels cat. I cant harm you." Mika was pacing around as he rambled on.

Lilly pushed the book away from her body and stared at it solemnly. "I wasn't meant to read this." she mumbled. She looked up as Mika was trotting around.
Leighton's gleamin red eyes peeked from his wings as he heard Mika's angelic tone.
Lilly's eyes widened. "Look! There! See the red eyes?" she pointed. Slowly she let her arm fall to her side. "Leighton?" she called hopefully.
Leighton slowly let his wings unfold. He sighed. Should I show myself? His concious pitched in: Don't be a coward, Leighton. Do it. You are the king of the night. What are you afraid of? Leighton winced. His wings completely unfolded, revealing his body. He had dark blackish blue hair. He was wearing a black v-neck and dark jeans along with black dress shoes. "Who speaks of me?" Leighton's husky voice echoed in the alley. He stayed in the shadows.

Suki stepped forward, bowing before the one who might know where she came from, what she truly is. "Leighton!" Suki gasped in delight as she lay pitifully and helpless on the ground, to stunned to care she was bowing. "It is an honor." Suki sat up with lightning speed, unfolding her wings. She glanced at Lilly, wondering what the girls reaction would be. "And Lilly, don't worry about the book. Only fate allows a person to read its language. Didn't you notice it wasn't English?"
