Naruto: Curse of the Yunichie Clan First off, I would like to note that I do not own Naruto, nor any of the character from the series. All characters from the series are expressed ing the controller's own view. Second, this RP is based withing the future of the series and for the people that have not kept up to date with the manga, there will be spoilers. If you do not wish to ruin what is to come, you might want to stop reading soon. With that said I will open up with the story line of the RP. Story Line It has been twenty-five years since the third ninja war ended. In the end, Naruto was able to save Sasuke from his dark path and together they brought down Mandara. The recovery of the hidden villages took much time but, in time wounds healed over and peace returned to the ninja world. It was only five years after the war ended, that Tsunade stepped down from being hokage and the village was overjoyed to see their hero take over. Thats right, Naruto Uzimaki became the 6th Hokage. Less than a year later he married Hinata and bared the clan from using the curse seal on branch members. But this story is not about Naruto, it is about a clan that was accepted into the leaf village after Naruto became Hokage. The Yunichie clan. The Yunichie clan have a blood limit that is derived from the Sharangan but, unlike that , it is not used to copy and opponents movements. It is a eye technique called the Nanjigan. It has the power to see things with hundreds of times more detail than a normal human eye. Because of this, they are able to read an enemy's movements with ease, their brains send signals and develop much faster. Because of this, it became rumor that the Nanjigan could see seconds into the future. And with such a powerful eye, protection was needed. How ever, the clan was small and only the main branch were full blooded Yunichie. Because of their diluted blood, the side branch members were unable to use the Nanjigan to it's full extent. But there is a secret that only two Yunichie know. The son of the recently killed leader of the clan and a rouge clan member. What happens when this rouge becomes a great threat to the village and ensnares a member of the branch family? It is up to you to find out.

Bio: Ryo was born to the main branch of the Yunichie. At the age of six, his father was killed in a mission for the village. Thus seating Ryo in line to lead the clan. Ryo has avoided taking on the fullness of this for the time being and lets his mother run the clan's affairs. This leaves Ryo able to focus on missions and the safety of the village. Since then Ryo has flown through the Chunnin exam the first time but, volunteered to stay with his team to help them through it the next time. Though Ryo dose not express it outwardly, he has never liked the fact that his clan is separated by branches and seems to side with the side branch more than the main branch. She's quiet most of the time, except for when she's asking her sensie a million questions Bio: Neoko's family is part of one of the lesser branches of the Yunichie clan. She doesn't seem to get along well with her family, or the other members of the clan for that matter. For reasons that people don't seem to know, she's distant from others. Some think that it has something to do with a major argument she got into with her family. They had told her that there was no way she would ever be able to use the Nanjigan in it's third stage, but she wouldn't hear of it. She wanted to prove that which family you were born into didn't matter...that if you worked hard enough, you could accomplish anything. Neoko has since been looked down on by most members of the Yunichie clan for speaking out in such a way. She hasn't given up on that dream. Though it will be difficult for her to accomplish, Neoko still plans to one day be able to use the Nanjigan at its fullest. Pic:  Username: Nandoral Name: Mikon Kusabana Age: 15 Rank: Chunnin Clan/bloodline: No bloodline limit Personality: She tries to be kind and helpful, but her illness doesn't always allow her to do so. She likes talking to people, but knows when to keep her mouth shut. Is very loyal to those who are kind to her and will not hesitate to act against those marked as enemies. Bio: Mikon was born your average, healthy child and was so for the first few years of her life, but things changed for her down the road. About three months after she turned five, small red bumps started to form on her body. Her parents didn't think much of it at first, assuming the spots were only chicken pox and that they would be gone within a few days. They were wrong though. The bumps only grew more in number each day, and they began to notice that Mikon would get bruises from even the smallest of injuries. They became worried and took her to the doctors. The results were heart breaking. The doctors diagnosed Mikon with an illness known as Acute Lymphocyte Leukemia (Also known as ALL) Her life would be forever changed, but not in the way her parents thought. They kept her locked up inside for a good few years after the revelation, but they soon found that Mikon was intolerant of it. The young child didn't like being cooped up all the time. She wanted to go out and play, have fun and be free to actually live a normal life. The day finally came when she got said freedom. Mikon was eight at the time, going in for a routine check up. The doctors were happy to inform her family that the cancer had gone into remission. That didn't mean she was cured, only that the cancer had subsided for the time. There was still a possibility that it could return. She didn't care though. Mikon could start living a real life again, that was all she cared about. She entered into the ninja academy the next day. As soon as Mikon started her training, she knew what path she wanted to take as a shinobi. She dedicated herself to becoming a great medical nin. So far, there are no known medicines or jutsus that can cure her kind of illness. Mikon wants to change that. She wants to create a jutsu that will cure, not only her, but all those who have incurable diseases. As she progressed to the rank of genin and later on chunin, Mikon developed more than just medical ninjutsu skills. Knowing her body was frail from her youth, she trained herself as to build up her physical strength as well as her ability to dodge oncoming attacks. Gaining the rank of chunin was all that easy. Mikon actually failed the first time around. The only member of her squad that did pass was Ryo, and he declined the position so that he could help the rest of the squad get through the next go round. For days Mikon preached to him about how he didn't have to hold himself back for their sakes, but he wouldn't hear of it. After a while, she gave up on trying to convince him to change his mind and instead promised that she wouldn't hold him back next time. This is when she started her taijutsu training, since her physical abilities is what caused her to fail the exams the first time. Some time went by and the tests came up again. This time, she was ready and the entire team passed with flying colors. Bio: Tou is an interesting character. He was discovered sleeping in front of the ninja academy at the age of ten an orphan without much clothes or possessions to speak of. Out of kindness, the academy's instructors took him in, clothed him, and began teaching him to be a ninja. As time went on, the boy was revealed to have an aptitude for knowledge, learning and mastering techniques faster then a normal individual would. This allowed him to learn multiple elemental releases as he became a Genin and later a Chunnin, a feat that only aided his determination to succeed as a ninja. Once he was ready to take the Chunnin exams, he was put into Ryo's group, which had been one person short at the time. The group worked well together, as each member's specialty supported the group as a whole. However, the group was forced to practice and take the exams a second time because only Ryo pass the Chunnin exam, Tou having been held back because of inability to hold back, almost killing a weakened opponent in the final stage of the exam. General description:
It is said that the Nanjigan was derived from the Uchiha sharangan. But traced back it was created before even that. During the great shinobi wars, the Yunichie clan has been a nomad clan for most of the history on the ninja world.The clan is formed of a small branch family with only main branch family having the ability to use its fullest powers. There are three stages to the eyes power. It is said that the eyes are able to look seconds into to future and allow the user to predict his/her opponents next move. How it really works is that the blood-limit makes the clan member's scenes and reflexes stronger and faster than most humans. The eyes allow the user to see the smallest details of an opponents movements, allowing them to predict their movements. Clan members are identified by their snow white hair and bright blue eyes. Also, in most clan members have lightning as their dominant chakra.
Ability:
Stage 1-The blue abyss-Gennin- faster reflexes and eyesight. It is called the blue abyss for the fact that the iris expands out to cover the whole white parts of the eye.
Stage 2-The Blue Void-Chunnin improves on the first stage and increases chakra flow. Cast a genjutsu that slows the opponents motor functions and reflexes, making it appear that the user is moving faster than he/she is. Is named the Void do the the white part of the eye becoming black.
(Genjutsu cannot be used for three posts after this stage is activated. It will last for five posts, unless there is outside interference or the jutsu is ended. Must make eye contact with opponent to cast the jutsu.)
Stage 3-Vision of the Tiger-Jounnin (Opens in only the main branch for the most part.) vastly improves on both stages. Movements become so fast that, with the help of the genjutsu, it seems like the user has slowed time around him/her while the user is unaffected. It has the same effect as opening the five gates if used for to long. Is achieved when one becomes leader of the clan or you have gone rough and have killed a close member of the clan. Along with this stage of the Nanjigan there is also a fighting style that goes with it. It is said that it is derived from the Hyuga's gentle fist and mix with tiger like tiajutsu. To gain a similar affect as the Gentle Fist, Each it is powered by a precise shock of electric current that causes the three nearest chakra points to go haywire. (For three posts) In addition, when it is being used, this stage also makes stripes appear on the body of the user. This only gives more to the meaning its name.

General description:
Abilities: The Blood Release is believed to be an advanced Kekkei Genkai that used Fire, Water and Lightning releases to allow the user to manipulate blood. It's only known users were of an ancient clan that thrived in the area now known as The Land of Fire before being mysteriously disappearing around the founding of the Ninja villages. This leads most people to believe that it has died out. However, descendants of this clan have been known to possess modified versions of the Blood Release, most notable being the Jashin religion.
To date, no one has been able to use the Blood Release, and it is considered a lost art among those who know about it's existence.
Abilities: There are three sub-types in the Blood Release that are mentioned in the old books: Manipulation of the user's blood, manipulation of free flowing blood, and manipulation of an opponent's blood.
-Manipulating one's own blood allows the user to create blood projectiles, and enhance one's techniques at the cost of the user's stamina. The User can also use their blood to heal the injuries of their teammates and themselves, but this requires undivided attention, as even a minor distraction could cause great internal damage to the target.
-Manipulating blood in the surrounding environment allows the user to create traps for opponents and protective barriers, though this requires the user to only use the blood release, putting them at a disadvantage against clever, more skillful opponents.
-Using and manipulating the blood of opponents is what the Blood Release is most known for. This includes ingesting an opponents blood to enhance regeneration, using an opponent's blood to damage them from the inside, and creating projectiles and weapons from an opponent's blood.
Because of this, the Blood Release at it's peak was labelled as a cursed Kekki Genkai, and many of it's techniques were considered Kinjutsus, as using these techniques can cause the user to harm himself if they are incompatible with the blood type of an opponent or teammember, and even develop psychological conditions from their use, such as hæmophobia and wendigo psychosis.
(Note: Tou Magimata, despite having the Blood Release as a part of his genetics, does not know how to use it, or even anyone who could teach him. Because of this, it's discovery and his reinventing of various Blood Release techniques will be a major character development for him.)

((I am going o open this up now. I am still waiting on that last profile but I am boered and need to type some thing. So, we have not started yet but this is the opening of the RP))
The afternoon sun shone brightly through the leaves of the forest around the leaf village as three young ninja we returning from a mission. Leading them was the captain of the squad, Ryo Yunichie. Though he gave off a care free and relaxed attitude, the other two with him were not concerned with the fact that they could be caught off guard. For even in his talkative mood, Ryo was still ready for anything. It was made Ryo such a natural leader for his squad. He could turn an ambush in to a counter attack and a counter attack into a trap. Most that did not know his thought that he had to have eyes in the back of his head. But it was simply the fact that he was a member of the leaf's Yunichie clan. More than that, he is the leader of the main branch. Or so the clan elders keep trying to tell him.
It is not that Ryo dose not care for his clan. Quite the opposite. It is the fact that he knows how the politics of the clan work and he would not become a piece in the elders games. So he ignored them as best he could and tried to point out that they had no sway over him any chance that he got.
But what he dose not know is that his time for dodging the clan has ended. For at the entrance of the leaf village, there is a member of his clan with an message from the elders.
Ryo frowned as he saw the clan member at the gates of the village. Ryo wanted nothing more than to sneak past him be he was already in his sights. With a sigh, Ryo approached the clansman.
The clansman bowed. "Lord Ryo, the elders are happy to see you return from another sucessful mission and are now holding a clan meeting. The have requested for you to be there." The clansman stood from his bow
Ryo let himself have a small smile. "You may tell the elders that I must report to the Hokage. My mission is not compete until I up date him on what has happened."
"The elders said that the lord Hokage would be at the meeting and that you can debrife him there. Your mother also asked me to give you this letter."
Ryo was now a little ticked off. They were now trying to play his game. Ryo took the letter and began to read it.
Ryo,
I know that you do not want to deal with the elders but I am afaid that I can no longer hold them off. This meeting is some thing that you must go to. It is time.
Lura Yunichie
Ryo sneered at the last three words. He knew what that meant. "Fine I will go to see the elders then." Ryo motioned for his team to follow him.
"I am sorry Lord Ryo. But this is a clan matter. You team are not permitted to come."
Ryo glared at the man. "I will keep no secrets from my team. They are my friend and family. We work together as one body. And if one of us keeps things from another, we cannot work properly. If the elders wish to have me there, they will have all three of us there. No exceptions."
The man was fearful of Ryo now. Though he was older than Ryo, he knew that was not even close to as strong as the young man in front of him. The man coincided. "As you wish, Lord Ryo."
Ryo never liked playing his "Head of the clan'" card but, he was good at it. Ryo began to lead the other two to the Yunichie compound.

((Kk. I'm posting Mikon as well since she's going to need to be at the meeting.))
Mikon had gotten used to moments like this where Ryo's clan elders would try to summon him for something. It always amused her how he would blow them off each and every time. He didn't even have to come up with excuses...just tell them no and walk on by as if nothing had happened. So it was strange to her that he couldn't just blow them off this time. Even more shocking was the fact that, whatever this clan meeting was about, it was important enough fo the Lord Hokage to have to be present. If anything, it was enough to force Ryo to go ling enough to give the mission debriefing.
In any case, since the clan elder's had found a way of forcing Ryo's hand, Mikon was ready to part ways with her friend. She knew enough about how the Yunichie clan worked to know that under most circumstances, only the elders and key members of theclan could attend the meetings. The only exeptions to this being the village leaders, since they had a vast majority of say in what happens within the leaf. With this being the first meeting Ryo was going to attend that Mikon knew of, she didn't expect him to play the 'I'm the leader of the clan' card to permit the rest of the squad to join the meeting as well. This is what made him such a great leader...his natural desire to do what was best for his team.
Seeing as she now had a meeting to attend, Mikon followed Ryo to the Yunichie clan compound, interested in what was going to take place.
Neoko found her way to the training grounds within the Yunichie compound. Normally, she would be with her squad doing lower rank missions or training under the guidance of her sensie. Today though was different. Her sensie had been sent on a mission and would not be around for a few days, leaving the entire squad with nothing to do. Neoko wasn't the type to just sit around and let valuble time slip away. There was too much she wanted to acomplish in life for her to be lazy in such a way. So instead, she took the time to work on her jutsu in the one training area that was modified to help lightning justu users get a better experience out of their training. Neoko started simple with some meditation to help her chakra flow properly and smoothly through her system.

Ryo had a slight idea of what this meeting was going to be about. He was 16 now and the clan had been without a proper leader for half his life. By clan laws, his mother should not have had to take his place for this long. 'They are going to force me into this now. They better not underestimate me. I still have plenty of ways to piss them off. And if they want to push me into this, then they will have to deal with these things.
They arrived at the gate to the compound. Ryo placed his hand on the Yunichie crest and forced some of his chakra into the wood. A second later, the gates drifted open. Ryo lead them further in. Taking notes of some of the things he saw on the way in. One thing that he took notice of was the girl in the training area of the compound. Though the clan made sure that he never came into direct contact with her, he had gone behind their backs to find out more about her. From what he knew, she was a lower branch clan member with great potential. But due to her being giffted and ambitious, they would not let her progress at her own speed and held her back. Ryo was reminded again on how he hated the way the elders treated the lower branches. Ryo continued on the his family estate. He lead them in and pulled back the wall that hid the entrance to the meeting room.
"Lord Ryo. We are honored that you were able to make it." One of the elders said as he entered.
'You mean that you were finally able to force me here.' Ryo thought with a smile.
"I was told of your request to keep your team with you for this meeting. Though we do not lightly let outsiders into our clan meeting, we will honor your request."
'Request? You mean my order that you could not refuse.' Ryo grew even more pissed with this elder now.
"As you know, the clan lost your father 8 years ago. Though your mother has kept the clan in good standing, we must have a proper head to lead the clan. By your birth right and your fathers will, you wer named as the next head of the clan. It is time that you take the leadership of the clan and choose your protector." The elder paused as another brought up a few papers. "We have, as clan law says, provided three canidates that best suit the task in witch they might take up. But it is your choice to choose who ever you wish from the clan." The elder handed him the papers.
Ryo began to look over them. Each was a skilled ninja with a great record of health. Each was an appealing woman as well. And each was a member of the main branch. As Ryo glanced over them he faked interest at certin points. Once he finished he pulled out a few papers of his own. This was it. He was going to put the elder in their place now. "None of these will work. I have done my own investigation on posibilities for my protector and have found one that suits me." He placed the papers with the infor mation of the one he was going to choose on the desk. "Neokona Yunichie will be placed as my protector."
The elder was shocked that Ryo had made this choice and that he had such detailed information on this girl. "But Lord Ryo, she is from the lower branch family. There is no way that she can properly protec-"
"I have looked into this quite well as you can see. She is extreamly capable of being my protector. Now if I remeber clan law correctly, I may choose any member within the clan so long as I review the elders canidates. This choice is mine and mine alone. Or do I not know my own clan's laws." This was the push that Ryo needed. The elder had no room to argue and now knew that there was now way that they had any control over him.
"Very well, Lord Ryo." The elder turned to one of the guards. "Please escort the chosen protector to these chambers so that we can continue with handing over the leadership of the clan to Lord Ryo." The guard nodded and left as the elder gathered in a corner of the room to talk.
"Very nicely done Ryo. You remind me of myself when I was young. Though I was never that good with the word play that you just used. I am glad to see you made it back from your mission safely." Said Nauto Uzimaki Hokage.

Mikon followed Ryo into the clan compound, being sure to keep close and not stray too far. This was her first time in this area of the village and she was taking in some of the details, such as the fact that they had their own training area. She also took note of the girl sitting all by herself. It looked like she was meditating, preparing her chakra for a training sesion. This wasn't what really caught Mikon's eye though. It was the sad, lonely look upon the girl's face. She wanted to go to the girl, ask her if she wanted someone to train with her, but could not. They still had the meeting to get to. If the girl was still there when it ended, she would be sure to ask Ryo if it was ok to help her.
When Ryo opened the passage way to the meeting area, Mikon kept her composure respectful. Though Ryo had told her about how the elders were a bit on the mean side, she didn't want to step on any toes. Keeping a respectable demeanor became harder as the meeting progressed. She wanted to bust out laughing when the tables were turned on them. Ryo truely was gifted in the art of getting what he wanted. Mikon was curious though. She had gotten a small glimpse of the three people the elders had given Ryo to choose from, but hadn't been able to see who's file he had pulled out. All she knew was that the elders didn't like his choice and that it was a branch member.
Neoko was still in the training ground meditating when she heard footsteps approaching. It was unusual for anyone to come to her of their own free will, unless it was someone coming to complain about her for some reason. Knowing that whoever it was most likely had something to say, she ended her meditation and stood, though she made no attemp to look for the person.
"Miss Neokona Yunichie, Lord Ryo has asked for your audience at the clan meeting. I am here to escort you and make sure you are able to enter the meeting area."
Neoko wasn't sure how to respond to this. Last time the elders spoke to her, it wasn't pleasent. She could only imagine what reasons they had for summoning her this time. Are they trying to kick me out of the clan for good? But for what reason? I haven't broken any laws. Neoko was fearful to say the least, but refusing to go or running off would give them even more reason to kick her out. She had no choice but to go and pray fro the best. Following the one who had been sent to get her, she soon arrived at the meeting place, a bit shocked to see that the entrance was acually part of the main family's house. She stepped in to find all the village elders and Lord Ryo to be present, as well as the Lord Hokage. Naruto being there made her panic even more, fearing now that they may be kicking her out of the leaf village entirely.
With all the fear that raced through her body, Neoko didn't let the first bit of it show outwardly. She gave three short bows, naming someone off with each. "Lord Ryo...Lord Hokage...Clan elders. I've come as you requsted." When she came up from her final bow, she noticed a stack of papers on the desk. Not just any papers, but her files. What on Earth is going on?

Ryo turned to see Neokona bowing before him. 'I am going to have to change that first.' He thought with a laugh. He began to look at her with a sharp eye. She was very good at trying to hide her emotions but, Ryo was not fooled by her act. He felt sorry for her. She had no idea why she was here and had most likely thought of the worst. Ryo placed a hand on her shoulder. "Do not worry yourself, Neokona Yunichie. I have not brought you here for punishment." He said with a kind smile.
The elder turned from the others and approuched Ryo. "We shall begin now." He said and paused for a moment and turned to Neoko. "Neokona of the Yunichie clan. You have been brought here today by the request of Lord Ryo. Lord Ryo is going to be taking his father's place as head of the clan. He will be the embodied spirit of our clan. To take up this position, he must first have a protector. We have presented him with our canidates and he has chosen to take you as his protector. As such you will be in charge of the permenent safety of the head of our clan. You will learn how to better protect him by his personal training. The elder spoke in a monotone with small hints of distaste.

Neoko was silent for quite some time after the elder spoke. This was the last thing Neoko had expected to hear from any of them. Since the day she became an outcast, she had wanted the chance to get back at the elders without fear of punishment. The tiniest hint of a smile played at the edges of her lips as she went down into another bow. "I swear to protect Lord Ryo with everythng that I am, not untill the day he releases me, but untill the day when I am no longer alive to perform my duties." When Neoko came back up this time, there was a flare in her eyes. It had always been there, but it was now stronger than ever for she now had the chance to rise to a hight that was once kept out of her reach.

The elders were hoping to intimidate her with this last ditch effort. But to Ryo's expectations, she saw right through it. "Very well." The elder turned to Ryo. "Lord Ryo, commit your protector with your oath and declare your oath of leadership. You will then don your father's robes and the clan sword."
Ryo stood straight as he knew that he had thwarted the elders in this fight. "I Ryo Yunichie, by right of birth, do take Neokona Yunichie as my shield. To stand by me as I rise to my forefathers expectations. I will forge her into a great shield to ensure that the clan is always protected by any threats. I take her with the promises that I will hone her skills into a flawless guardian. For she is mine as I am now hers. For I do by place my entire life into her hands. For a tool is only as good as the one who wields it. I do so accept her as the protector of my clan's greatest secrets."
Ryo motioned for Neoko to stand beside him as he took a step forward and knealed before the elder. "I do so accept my place as leader of this clan by my right of birth and the will of my father. I will keep safe our greatest of secrets and ensure that my clan will prosper under my leadership. I accept all responsibilities, rights, and privileges that come with my position. I will so bear our crest so that all may know what I am and the sword of my clan, to cut down any that may threaten us. I do so swear upon my eye, blood, and soul."
Once Ryo finished, the elder nodded as the elders behind him stepped forward with the robes and sword. Ryo stood and allowed them to outfit him in his new garb. They finished with tying his sword to his waist. Next they came to Neoko with a headband that had the clan crest imprinted on both sides of the leaf symbol. Though they did not place it on her as they should have. They only gave it to her for her to put on herself.
"Lord Ryo, you have spoken well on this day and have moved our clan into a new era. The last task that is given to you is the scroll of our clan blood line secret. You must keep it safe from enemy eyes at all costs." With that finished Ryo turned to Neoko. "Neokona, I am sure that you have many things that you may wish to ask of me. And I will answer all that I can in time. But first I must inform the Hokage of the result of my last mission. Further more, as my guard you must be near by at all times. So I will have it arranged that all of your things be moved from the house of your parents and into the main house hold. There is a room being prepared for you as we speak. Please, feel free to join me as I speak with the Lord Hokage." Ryo said in kind and fluid tone as he made his way back to the Hokage.
