BitterSweet HowTheStoryBeginsXXXXXXXLove. A word that so many claim to be in. And some believe they are in. But only a handful can either cry or smile while saying they have felt the real thing. How does one know the difference? A question all seem to want the answer to. Even those who say they don't and believe no such thing exists. Everyone wants to feel it, have and to hold it. Some say it's the amount of pain you suffer without them. Others have stated that it's how much you have been through with a person; or how long they have been in your life. These and so many more beliefs in what makes Love real. People have been known to do crazy things in search of it, for it, and having lost it. What will you do? How do you tell the difference? What do you believe real Love to be like? And just how far are you willing to go to keep it?

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXLeviston Lavi BuckerXXXXXXX "Life is the flower for which love is the honey." Heaving a sigh while moving to sit down on a bench, Lavi just wanted to go home already. Part of him was debating if he would skip his next class that started in ten minutes. It was Art History. Being an Art Major, Lavi always enjoyed the courses that were required. Sadly, ever sense his last girlfriend, the young artist didn't want to do much of anything. Nikki Golds. No past relationship was remotely close to just how deeply in love they were..or maybe now how he was. At the time, Nikki showed to have the same feelings he did. Shaking his head alittle and looked upwards at the trees branches that was behind him, Lavi wouldn't let the thought cross his mind: that maybe she didn't after all. That maybe with how in love he was, he thought she was too. I know she did. No matter how things are now I know she did. I don't care how it seems.. Recalling some memories, the best memories that felt real, nothing less, of the love that was there in those moments, it only made him more assured. "She did."
Not wanting to continue his current track of thoughts, Lavi stuck his hand into his hoodie pocket and took out his iTouch. Tapping and scrolling through his music, he thought instead on what he was in the mood to listen to. Linkin Park was always a win in his book, and it felt right. Once it started his mood lifted and all unwanted thoughts disapeared as if they were never there. The urge to doodle, he shifted his book he had been carrying in his other hand. With a black ball-point pen already behind his ear, Lavi opened his in perfect condition sketch book, aside from his epic designs on the front. Taking the pen from behind his ear, he began to doodle. Head bobbing a bit, the artist allowed the flow of expression out freely. Not caring or thinking of what he wanted to draw. It's how his best work was always made. And with enough time it was coming along just fine.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXSinnera Sin LockhartXXXXXXX "To the world, you are one person. But to one person, you are the world." Sinnera hummed softly as she walked backstage to gather her things. That's what happens when she's a Drama Major, you get sucked into dramatic scenes. Waving to a couple of people she knew, Sin sighed softly and continued to smile. She watched some couples walk out to the front and out from the auditorium. It felt odd to watch couples walk around. Friends of hers thought it was wrong for someone as loud as her to be so lonely as this. "Maybe they are right." Shifting slightly as she stood still, she gripped onto her backpack that was over her shoulder. Next class soon, Music. She didn't mind going to that class, but she was awful at expressing her feeling in words so she might burst into some song. Hands in pockets, she pulled out her iPod and put on her headphones to calm her nerves with the thing she loved the most in the entire world. She would marry music if she could, but that would have seemed a little too odd wouldn't it?
Taking her time as she walked out of the auditorium, Sinnera waved and smiled at people she knew. She didn't hear them though since her heaphones were blasting her favorite music. As it played 'Like It's Her Birthday' by Good Charlotte she started to sing to it. Sin didn't care what others thought about her, she'll do her thing and they'll do theirs. Walking by a bench, she glanced downwards as if she did nothing. Walking onwards, she then stopped and slowly walked backwards in curiousity. Peering down, but not too closely as if to avoid their space, she tried to find a way how to approach him. Awkwardly coughing as if something were in her throat didn't work, so she tried tapping them on the shoulder. "Hey, I like your drawing doodle thing."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXLeviston Lavi BuckerXXXXXXX "Life is the flower for which love is the honey." A tap on the shoulder? His ears and head perked. Giving a little glance at the tapper, Lavi took out his headphones in time to her hear words. "Oh, thanks. It's nothing really great, though." He offered a smile. Wow. This gal was flawlessly beautiful. Lavi, without realizing it, was stuck in a pause; mouth even as if forgetting his track of thought. But he soon smiled, offering a hand; "I'm Lavi, Art Major." Screw his last class. He'd much rather stay and meet this girl. Not just because she was so damn pretty, but there was something..something that made his heart pound in his chest. Had it felt like this before? No! He was getting wayy ahead of himself. Starting to think realistically, Lavi collected himself and all was cool again. People that would pass by were nothing more then a part of the background as she was the only one in his sights. Loving this feeling, he felt something he hadn't in awhile. Happy.
"So let me ask you something?" Wing it. Follow your gut. Two things this guy always went by, and now the sayings were acting on automatic. "You care to meet up? Possibly skip class? I was just about to head out on an adventure." Yeah, realll smooth; is what most people would think. Asking something like that to someone you just met not even for five minutes. But that's just how Lavi was. Always speaking his thoughts and/or acting on instinct. It always seemed to work out in the end. And something here..right now was calling, beckoning him that he should get to know her.
"Yeah, I won't lie, if you're gonna pick and choose the good from the bad influences on a college campus..I'm in the middle." Aiming to make her smile, laugh or at least a giggle. A giggle would've been nice. Even so Lavi smiled, standing with his things, putting his headphones around his neck and iTouch in pocket; the pen already behind his ear again and books in hand. "So what ya' say?"

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXSinnera Sin LockhartXXXXXXX "To the world, you are one person. But to one person, you are the world." "Even if you don't think so, others might." Sinnera couldn't think of anything smoother to say than that, she felt awkward now that she thought about what she had said over in her mind. When the other boy paused, she tilted her head to the side in wonder. After smiling and offering his hand, introducing himself, she smiled herself. Placing her hand in his and with her free hand to push a couple of strands out of her face, she said cheerily, "I'm Sinnera, Sin for short, I'm a Drama and Music Major." Her name made her stand out more than it should, people thought of her, as someone would say, a devil. In all honesty, she wasn't except for her flirtatious habit. She didn't do those kind of things. Smoke or drink, it just made her think of her parents who had problems with each other. Maybe that's where they got her name, she was born from their own problems. Managing to hold a smile, she tried her hardest not to get too caught on the conversation she had started.
Raising an eyebrow when Lavi wanted to ask her something, Sinnera said, "Throw it at me." When he answered, he said something that Sin wasn't particularly ready for. Softly smiling, she rubbed the back of her neck with her hand as if to think about it when she knew she wouldn't. Smirking, she replied, "I don't know if I should." It was true that she wanted to go, though she didn't say it, everyone was too caught up on themselves that she sometimes got tired of coming to class when she wouldn't get her turn unless she volunteered herself. She wasn't too happy about that, people gave her stares thinking that she was confident about her voice. Sometimes she was and sometimes she wasn't, it was as simple as that.
In between a laugh and a giggle, Sinnera couldn't help herself. It felt nice to giggle laugh. ( ROFL. ) Swinging herself back and forth on her heels and toes as she now gripped onto her shoulder bag over her shoulder, she smiled and said, "They won't mind if I'm gone so I guess I can come with."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXLeviston Lavi BuckerXXXXXXX "Life is the flower for which love is the honey." Face lighting up brighter then any flashlight in the darkest parts of the cloest, Lavi his teethy smile [loacted in bottom right icon] "Glad you made the fun choice." He chuckled a bit, knowing she'd mostly likely get what he meant. It was either the "fun choice" or the "smart choice" or as Lavi would like to call it the "goody goody choice." This guy believes in many things but one of his favorites, and ones he most oftenly uses, is that rules are meant to be broken, if even once. Though he wasn't sure exactly what they were going to do. All he had done was play it by ear. That feeling was to strong to ignore and it had him so very curious. With a softer smile, looking int her eyes he cocked his head; "It'll be fun trust me."
And so he started walking, waiting until she would be walking beside him; showing his manners. It's one of the many little things that separated Lavi from most guys. Knowing how the majority of guys were to girls ticked him off. He always liked to think he was different and better in the best of ways when it came to treating a girl right. All the more reason why he was more then shattered when Nikki broke it off. Nothing had changed from when they were fine leading up to that random mood she was in. It was a Saturday and Lavi happened to have drawn something the night before for her. But when he had gone to the house to pick her up all he got, after showing it, was This isn't working I'm sorry. Don't talk to me for awhile. All he had asked was why and her answer- It's done. Don't you get it now piss off! with a slammed door. Leaving him more then shattered.
But none of that mattered here. And no longer bothered him. "So Sin," he looked to her as they just began walking side by side, "Pardon me for being so straight forward, and I know me saying this is prolly gonna make me sound like your 'your typical man-douche' but you're really pretty. I hope you realize this, yes?" Lavi wasn't shy when it came to speaking his mind. He was just always somewhat cautious on going about how to word it. It wasn't him being nervous or paranoid, he was just always one to consider others track of thought. No one thinks exactly with the same mind set. And Lavi just happens to always keep that in mind.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXSinnera Sin LockhartXXXXXXX "To the world, you are one person. But to one person, you are the world." Smiling wide when she saw Lavi's smile, Sinnera couldn't help but reply, "I'm kind of glad I did." Of course she would choose the fun choice, especially if it meant skipping the last class of the day. She was tired at the beginning of the day and it felt much better if she didn't have to drag herself to the other side of the campus. She didn't like working on her vocals, she liked it as it was. But then her teacher kept going on and on about how she can prove even though she told them millions of times that she was fine with hers. You can't be confident in yourself if they tell you that you can approve. It was obvious that it was to help improve, but she didn't feel the need to. She wasn't a particularly happy at the end of the day. She was, but she seemed easier to piss off unless they let her be. "It's nice to trust if this person considers whatever we're going to be doing is fun!" Laughing lightly, she wondered what Lavi had in mind when he said, 'fun.'
As Lavi started to walk, Sinnera followed along, thinking he wouldn't bother to stop like most douches she's flirted with. When he waited, Sin smiled softly a bit embarassed. It had to be the first time in years that a guy decided to wait. Catching up to him as they walked side by side, she lightly tossed her hair over her shoulder. She could remember the last time a guy did that. That Sin had been carefree and she liked it that way, despite the fact that she had alcoholics and smokers for parents. Abusive. Maybe that's why she had Hemophobia and still does. Well, anyways, there was a boy she lived next door to. Her heart throbbed for him at eleven years old. She recalled him saying, "C'mon! Catch up!" She was tired and fell easily, but he waited for her. He ran fast, yet stood there waiting when he could leave her. She forgot what happened, but she did remember him suddenly slipping out of her grasp.
Walking side by side, Sinnera looked at Lavi when he spoke her nickname. Seeing that he looked at her too, she blushed a light pink. Raising an eyebrow as he started off and ended, she placed her hands behind her back while she squeezed both of her hands in reassurance. "Thank you. I guess I knew that, just didn't belive it much when my friends explained it to me." Trying to think of something to say to him without looking too like she was coming on too quickly, she said, "And you're quite the gentleman."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXLeviston Lavi BuckerXXXXXXX "Life is the flower for which love is the honey." Seeing the light pink on sucha pretty face made Lavi smile. He he made her blush. That just had to be some sorta of rare happening. Always paying attention to her words; he looked at her eyes while other males' eyes would wonder while women would speak. Just another thing Lavi always seemed to do right. Being called a gentelmen his teethy grin showed abit, with a fainter pink blush then hers. "Why thankyou~" At times Lavi wondered where he actually got his personality. Having been abanded as a child and having lived in an orphanage until he turned seventeen; he had run away, and lived with his friend Dannie who was his best friend through middle and high school. And go figure they go to the same college. Thanks to his loving and caring parents; Mr.& Mrs. Brown. Dannie was rich because of them. But shockingly he wasn't very popular, despite him being well off. His personality was too much like his best friend Levi. And the two were always often the main targets.
Even so, Lavi now lived in his own apartment. Not because he was kicked out or there were issues. It was as easy as saying that Lavi wanted to have a stable life on his own two feet sooner rather then later. The Brown's always respected him more for it, knowing him as a boy all the years. Dannie's parents gladly understood and helped him find the right place and pays of the rent while he saves up from his job for food and gas money; having got Dannie's when he got a new one for his birthday. They also paid his school bills. And although Lavi would fool about, he knew exactly how to balance good and bad. He knew when he could spare a class and when he could not. It's as easy as saying Lavi knows who he is and how to go about things.
Right now all that mattered was Sin; and the odd sensation he enjoy so very much about her. The fact this was the only time they'd ever met was only making him all the more curious and fluttery on the inside. Shifting his shoulder bag a bit; while tightening his hand with the books and what not so they wouldn't fall, he looked straight ahead. "I gotta say he's one lucky dude, whoever he is."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXSinnera Sin LockhartXXXXXXX "To the world, you are one person. But to one person, you are the world." Spotting the faint pink on Lavi's face caused Sinnera to grin widely and she refused to hide her satisfaction. "Of course, you are welcome!" The music penetrting through her ears as she continued to listen to the music from her iPod, but at a lower tone, she tried her hardest to sing inside her head. Instead it came out in small hums and a few lyrics escaping from her lips. It was hard to keep her mouth shut when she knew the lyrics well. It was tempting, but knew it was best to keep it quiet. What if he wasn't who seemed to be and act like a total jerk to her? Then she would have to get in their face, upset thinking that he was such a wonderful guy to be around. An upset Sin wasn't the prettiest thing ever.
Shivering at the thought, Sinnera thought of those types of guys. Jerks and liars. Her least favorite thing in a guy, probably the same with other girls she knew. Those funny stories she heard of ex's and guys they've met. It amused her as she slowly thought of her own. Only one guy came to mind. His name had been Ronald, but everyone called him 'Ronnie.' Honestly, she thought Ronnie sounded like a better name and she thought he was a better person. He wasn't. He acted like a jerk and lied when he said that he went on a trip with his parents, but their were other girls. She knew what she called them, in fact, what eveyone called them. Sluts. Ew. Most of them were to scary to talk to face to face. She hated how they buried their faces in make - up which wasn't even attractive how you could see how thick it was against their skin.
Catching what Lavi said, Sinnera raised an eyebrow. "Who's the lucky dude?" Pausing ever slightly in her tracks and then walking to catch up again, she laughed lightly. "Wait, do you mean the correct term, 'boyfriend?'" She teased being herself. Did it look like she had a boyfriend? "I don't have one if you're wondering. I enjoy being single." Lookng ahead with a smile plastered on her face, she placed a few strands behind her ear and asked, "So does your lucky lady see you often? I bet you treat her well, I don't see how you can't."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXLeviston Lavi BuckerXXXXXXX "Life is the flower for which love is the honey." Nikki. The first thought and image that came to mind. Lavi felt his emotional state shift. It happened rather quickly but subtlety. His gaze went from looking at Sin while she was speaking, to the ground as they walked on. Soon followed many thoughts and things that he could have done or not have done that made Nikki act that way. He still has yet to hear from her. "I like to think I did." He said sadly. Playing everything over in his mind, he still has no idea what went 'wrong' about how they were. It just didn't add up to him. Lavi always believed to be different from most guys. So the fact that he clearly could have missed something bothered him greatly. "We use to hang alot but recently, the last time we were supposed to hang out she litteraly slammed the door in my face."
Pausing, Lavi gathered his thought and tried to collect his emotions as well. The last thing he wanted was to come off as some obsessive dude. Sin doesn't know him much so there's always a chance that she may think 'oh what did he do, stalker her' or something along the lines. "It's just.." But he felt right talking about it in this way; and he looked at her again. "I don't mean to sound like I see myself better then everyone, or every guy. But I always did know that I'm different. Or at least I like to think I trest girls how they should be treated." Talking about it seemed to make him feel better more then he thought. Lavi was finding it to be greatly soothing and comforting to talk to Sin about it this way. "But for some reason there just had to be something I missed." He looked downward again slightly with his eyes, but still faced her. "Yet no matter how hard I think or relax and don't think to into in case it's one of those things where it's obvious and can be overlooked when thinking to much into things, I still have no clue to what I've done or something that I didn't do."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXSinnera Sin LockhartXXXXXXX "To the world, you are one person. But to one person, you are the world." Sinnera became disappointed in herself that she caused Lavi to look down at the ground as they walked, she hadn't meant for that to happen. She didn't know. Squeezing her hands behind her back, she sighed delicately and listened. Though she was curious why he had been upset. Silently, she let out a small, "Oh. That's hard to imagine." Why or more like how, could anyone do that to someone so sweet and thoughtful? Looking up at the sky with her chin tilted upwards as she continued to listen and not missing a word, she smiled a bit. Lavi was opening up to her wasn't he? And they had not met not too long ago. "I don't see what you could have done wrong."
Now it was time for some cheering up. Smiling out of confidence that she could cheer Lavi up, Sinnera said, "Lavi don't let a girl like that cross your mind if she slammed the door in your face." Shaking her head as she wondered why he still thought about this girl, she continued, "It's not worth it to keep thinking about her if she acted that way. Bet she was on her period or something." Sin couldn't help but laugh at her suggestion. Who knows? It could have been possible. "This is why I don't date, why I wait for one particular guy to fall head over heels for. If they aren't the one, you either be heartbroken or be the one who breaks a heart." Then reassuring herself quickly, she laughed awkwardly to say, "I sound like some sort of hopless romantic don't I?"

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXLeviston Lavi BuckerXXXXXXX "Life is the flower for which love is the honey." Lavi was amazed at Sin's words looking to her with opened eyes. And mostly nearing the end about waiting for the right one. But at the time, and somewhat thinking or feeling it, he had thought Nikki being that one. That special someone. Perhaps she was right about Nikki being on her perid, but he knew that wasn't the case because of past events of when she was on her period. There had been times where Nikki would act strange, breakdown and cry about things and question if they were meant for each other. And even times where Nikki would feel as if Lavi didn't love her anymore only for him to prove her 'period' judgement wrong. He'd prove it in the most loving and realness of ways, too. From holding her face and giving her soft kisses, as one example. And showing up at her door with her favorite things of flowers and goodies. He even showed up at palces where she would be, like her friends house. And her friends would either awhh or make comments of how amazing he is to do such things. At times Lavi wondered if any of them would feel some jealousy for how he treated Nikki.
"You know that makes more then perfect sense." He blinked and soon shook his head abit as he fathomed what else to say; how to assure her she didn't sound that way at all. And if she did it was more then surely a great thing! "Sin," he started, looking to her again, "I think it's fantastic." Lavi was very serious and wanted to make sure she knew she wasn't hopeless in the very least. "To have that kind of mind set is really something I'd follow, too. I mean..Sure I use to think and always feel that Nikki was that special someone. I just- wasn't prepeared in anyway for what happened to happen. Like ever." His eyes were opened fully as he expressed his words at his best. Even his tone was the best it could be when it came to making the point that blunt that her way of thought was truly was flawless in his eyes, mind and heart. "I think it's great to think that way. Even if it does make things more heartache-ish or lonely at times in the end that way of living would surely pay off! I know it will. Especially for you."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXSinnera Sin LockhartXXXXXXX "To the world, you are one person. But to one person, you are the world." Averting her gaze from the sky to Lavi, Sinnera was more than surprised that he agreed with her. This was the first time that someone truly understood what she was saying and was not lying at all. Smiling her good ol' smile felt good, she liked being around Lavi. Actually more than any of her current friends and was strange was that they recently met. Was it possible to feel a connection between a 'stranger'? Looking up at the clouds as they passed by in different shapes and sizes, she let a tear slip out just about the same time Lavi finished what he was saying. "Oh gosh! I'm so sorry! It's just ... well -- the first time someone has been actually truthful with me."
With the back of her hand, Sinnera wiped away the tears. Sniffling, Sin let out a small sigh and tried to cheer herself up. "Sometimes. I wish that boy never came into my life." Seeing that she had started to space out, she decided to might as well tell her story. "There was this boy from my childhood. His name was Chase." The name haunted her, just saying it out loud. She had to talk about him sooner or later. "Chase stood up for me around my parents. We hung around each other often and I don't know what went wrong." And there came the hard part of the story, "We slipped away as we got older. Apparently, I was getting really picked on. Bruises and blood." The waterworks starting up again, she tried to blink fast so they would go away, but didn't. "He stood there knowing I needed help. And the next day he was gone." Shrugging, she continued to walk when she felt like she coudn't. "I'm sorry that you have to deal with me. I'm just a wreck."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXLeviston Lavi BuckerXXXXXXX "Life is the flower for which love is the honey." Seeing the tear, Lavi felt as if his heart had dropped or something had dropped; perhaps his heart. It didn't exactly make him happy to see that tear in her eye. As she went on-not leveing him enough time to think of what to say or how to react. All LAvi could think of to do as she went on was to listen. And boy'o was he ever listening. His ears would be perked up and forward if he were a dog. With his tail hanging low and motionless. Yeah. That's exactly what it would have looked like. Hearing about all of it though, with all that was being said, Lavi was making mental notes and was trying to piece it all together. She was clearly hurting. Not only was it clearly noticeable but it also must be quite some bit for her to have wish she never met the guy. thinking that to himself, he shook his closing his eyes but still listening, but he had shook it only a moment. He continued to listen. Picked on? Bruises and blood?! And what was the deal behind the comment about the guy standing up for her around her parents?!
After her last statement Lavi was no longer going to wait to state anything. "What??" Taking a staggering step ahead to be in front of her; his arms out and hands gently taking hold of her shoulders. "Don't ever think I'm 'dealing with you' okay?" Lavi wasn't coming off as in-your-face; but this moment in time would be how Lavi would always handle when his girlfriend would think something like Sin was now. "And you're not a wreck.." His eyes saddened a bit seeing the tears that were in her eyes and some streaks they had left. But his expression soon changed to what could be described as his: who do I have to kill, type face. "I know it's not anywhere near remotely close for me to ask but what was that about? About your parents, bruises and blood." Heart rate picking up in his chest. Fearing the worst of things. But Lavi knew not to get ahead of himself. yet..something told him what he was thinking was correct. And that thought was enough to have Lavi stutter a moment. "Do- Do they hurt you, Sinnera?"
