Corks

READ THIS THROUGH!

Okay, here’s how the corks work.

~ Each numbered cork is worth one of two different prizes
~~~~~~~ These prizes will most likely not be changing, though I reserve the right to change them as I see fit.
~ You can add corks together, but you will not get change for corks that don’t add up to the right number.
~~~~~~~ For example, you can buy a #10 prize with a #5 and two #3's but you will forfeit all three corks.

~ You may trade corks to other people but you may NEVER SELL THEM.
~~~~~~~ Trading between your own characters is easy enough, just tell me how the cork passed from one to another... for example, "Toki stole a #3 cork from Burrik when he was sleeping... or "Bale tripped while carrying too many boxes and a cork fell out of his pocket... Zephra came across it later and picked it up."
~~~~~~~ Trading between players is different. I would like a brief encounter (RP) between the two in order for the cork (or corks) to trade hands.

~ Once you spend corks, they’re gone.
~~~~~~~ That seems self explanatory.
~ Once you spend the ale bottles, they’re gone too.
~~~~~~~ This also requires no explanation.

~ Once you buy a skill you can deduct the cork cost of it from the matching higher skills if you want to buy a better one later.
~~~~~~~ This only applies to the matching skill sets... ie. bug mount, tree healing, levitation, and Teleportation. This is basically because once a person knows the basic skill it is much easier to teach them the next one, thus is costs less.
~~~~~~~ You may not trade or unlearn skills once they are purchased and assigned to a character.

~ While you can trade bottles for corks, you can NOT trade corks for bottles.
~~~~~~~ This is also self explanatory.
((I had three people check this list... that doesn't mean it's right, but that does mean that I need to be linked to proof that it's wrong.))
If your gaianame is on the list, then that means you won a cork in a chance contest or by colouring a squirrel and you can apply that cork to any of your characters.
OKAY, SO
Deidre's #2 is buying the GPS (Map Mind), the #3'll buy Forgery Fingers, and the two #4s will buy me a key because I LOVE GAMBLING.
Good god, forgery and the ring... ohhhh Deidre.
AL'S TURN. A #5 for Stealth Paws, the #1 for Sleight of Paw.
Well, Al, I guess you're a ninja now. GO GET 'EM TIGER
I'll hold onto Al's four and five for now. Plan on doing a Harrowgate squirrel or two. Might be able to get her something nice.
"It wasn't hard for Rhys to get his paws on Trix's cork. The mouse to could be a little scatter brained from time to time and she probably forgot it was even hers, all the things the pair owned were stashed together after all. She wasn't going to miss it if Rhys 'borrowed' it from her."
Rhys' #2 goes towards Mind Map, the #5 he stole from Trix goes towards stealthy paws.
I'd like a chest key for my #8 cork
I'll hold onto my bottle for the time being.
So, here's what happened. After waking up with an awful hangover, Tabitha decided she wanted nothing to do with the devil's liquid anymore and without even realizing that the corks were worth anything, she spat hers out and crawled off into the dark to sulk.
Tristan and Archibald, naturally, went scouring for any errant corks once they were awaken enough to do so. They picked up Tab's #4, then pooled all of their combined corks (which was, naturally, Tristan's idea). Tristan bought everything of interest to him, very generously giving the remainder to Archie. He encouraged Archie to use his corks on a key and the food-tasting ability (never know when you might need to check a food for poison!), but Archie strongly suspicioned any prize won from the chest would somehow end up in Tristan's paws. So, for the first time ever, he lied to Tristan and told his boss that the chest had come up empty and now insists he *can* taste all the ingredients in food (although he totally can't), and instead bought himself some liquid luck, which he refuses to tell Tristan he has. Of course, Archie is very superstitious and gullible and whole-heartedly believes the luck will protect him everywhere no matter what he does, and THAT will be a very bitter realization....
IN SHORT. I would like to buy:
TRISTAN
#2 cork for sleight of hand
#3 cork for forgery fingers
#4 cork for bug whisperer
full bottle for the stat increase [body]
ARCHIE
#4 cork + #5 cork + #2 cork for Liquid Luck
