Welcome to Hogwarts!
Welcome, new student! You have your own dormitory awaiting for you in a housing chosen by the hat. You get to choose your own classes. You can find the housing lists and classes in the reply below. During free time, feel free to lounge in your housing lobby, the cafe, the quad located outside, take extra classes with Hagrid, go shopping, take tours, and many more options are available. If you have any concerns or questions please write to Professor Dumbledore by sending letters to x- a k a k o. Enjoy your stay here at Hogwarts!

Vanessa swiftly brushed past the people at the train station. "Excuse me. Excuse me." No one even looked at her. She sighed as she searched for the train. Vanessa sighed in frustration. Finally, she came to Hogwarts' train. A smile spread across her face in relief. She hopped onto the train and searched for an empty seating car. She flopped onto one of the one of two couches and carefully set her black leather satchel next to her.
A burst of excitement ran through her. This was her first year of the magical school, the one and only. Who knows what it wold hold. Hopefully love, what she's always searched for. She smiled larger as she waited for the train to start.

Kirk rushed down the corridor towards the trains. As he was walking up, he caught a glimpse of the last train to Hogwarts until noon. He sighed and sat down on a bench. All that ran through his mind at the time was, "YOU MISSED THE TRAIN! YOU IDIOT!" Suddenly, Kirk remembered Platform 9 & 3/4. He smiled and collected his bags. He put himself between Platforms 9 and 10 and aimed for the 3rd column down. He immediately starting jogging, then running until...BOOM! He had bursted through the wall with such force, that he fell upon coming out onto the platform. The other Hogwart kids around him stared and laughed, some saying, "Psh, first years."
Kirk had jumped on the train, fearing it would leave again. He found an empty seat and let out a breath of relief. He had finally made the train that was going to take him to Hogwarts, School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Vanessa's bright face perked up when Kirken sat across from her. When around boys, she became shy and antsy. She felt herself blush. She uncomfortably adjusted in her seat and placed her satchel on her lap. The train servers began closing the doors to the seating cars. She sighed when feeling her stomach go to knots.
"Hi." she finally said. "I'm Vanessa Gilligan, Hufflepuff." she offered her hand and smiled warmly. Some how, she managed to look pretty, and, well, manageable. "It's my first year here." she added, her big oceanic eyes sparkling.

Kirk, at first, didn't know she was even talking to him. Usually, girls don't even pay attention to him. He looked up to see Vanessa's bright, yet blushing, face and hand pointed at him. He cleared his throat. "Hello, I'm Kirk. Kirk Collin. First year, Gryffindor." He flashed a quick smile and looked down quickly. He got this feeling in his stomach. Something he never felt before. But he knew what it was called.

Kirk's voice made her stomach tighten. "Nice to meet you." she breathed out. Vanessa lowered her hand to her lap and smoothed her dress with her hands. She tried striking up a conversation that may help her get to know him. Vanessa looked down at her feet, and lightly tapped her brown lace boots together.
She looked back up at him. "Um, do you fly?" she asked quietly, almost a mumble. "I'm going to try out for the Quidditch team." she glanced down then back up nervously. Vanessa shuttered. What if he didn't like flying? Uh oh. She regretted speaking. Why did this boy make her so nervous?

Kirk replied with almost a whisper. His heart was racing. "Uh. Flying-g's f-fun. I've been flying for y-years now." He didn't know why he was studdering. Studdering? What's going on here? "And, I, I...I think you should definitely try out for the Quidditch team. I might try-y for Seeker." Kirk couldn't wrap his head around why this girl was talking to him and why he was acting so stupidly. "W-what position do you think you're gonna-a go for?"

Vanessa tried to hold in her laugh. It came out as a flattering smile. "Seeker, huh?" she looked into his eyes. "I was planning on trying out for seeker as well." she paused to push her hair back. "Looks like eventually we'll be versing each other." Nixon, Vanessa's owl, hooed in his cage.
