Darkstar woke with his eyes gleaing in the pitch balck cave. HE got up his claws unsheathed fully..All the time. hE walked out pushing through the holey lichen from the many battles at the camp. He peered over the deep camp as he sat atop the highrock ears pricked as he looked to the Nursery to find his littlest brother, Stormkit stumble out as a queen nudged him out with the others. He smield gently at him which was not common to see. Leaping down from the highrock he padded over to the kit sitting infront as he chased after another tripping to skid infront of him. "Morning Darkstar!" He mewed up at his brother playfully bating his brothers tail. "Good morning Stormkit." Darkstar's voice was deep but not baritone. It showed of his strentgh and loyalty. He licked the kit's head before padding over to the medicine cat den having a report on any visions. When there was none he picked a pigeon form the pile and sat in the shade of the trees watching his clan wake.
Redheart cracked an eye out of the bushes as his sleep was shaking when a she-cat warrior kicked him in the face from a pesky dream. He glared at her for a seconf but deiced to get up and see of patrols today. HE padded out of the warriors den looking at his leader for a moment before grinning as Stormkit waddled over to him.
Stormkit smiled at Darkstar before looking over to Redheart as he heard him wake and he waddled over his round kit belly throwing his weight around. "Good morning, Redheart!" He meowed purring as he brushed his brothers leg. Redheart gave him a quick lick behind his ears before responding. "Goodmorning Stormkit." But before Stormkit could answer Redheart got up heading to the pile to eat. HE sighed but smiled as a kit ran past him and he laughed chasing after.

Flametail padded out of the warriors den and gave a loud yawn as he walked to the fresh kill pile. He gave a glance at the three brothers with a smile then began to bite into his kill.
Waterstream slipped out of the warriors den awhile after flametail and let her claws dig into the ground as she streatched. She sat down and gave her fur a quick lick and went to the fresh kill pile, picking up a mouse then padding away to find a nice warm spot to sit and eat.

Redheart glared as he saw Waterstream wait. HE padded over Stormkit over to her already had finished his mouse. "Thanks for the kick in the head." He grunted at her but gav off a sly grin barley seeable.
Darkstar watched as more warriors woke and he stretched on the highrock enjoying having hte high point of everyone.

Waterstream had found a nice spot and laid down, She noticed Redheart talking to her and she looked up, "Well you seemed like you needed one." She teased and took a bit of the mouse. She gave a glance to Stormkit and gave a smile meaning goodmorning. Waterstream always did love kits, but never though she would have any so she took it up to herself to be nice to all the kits in her clan. Once waterstream finished her mouse she sat up and looked back at Redheart.

Redheart snorted at her and pushed her back over standing over her as he leaned his muzzle down to her ear. "Ya well you need to learn to keep your distant to a red flame." HE teased nipping her ear playfully before stepping off sitting back down. "And who says I need a pesky female to kick my head in?" He chuckled.
Darkstar smiled down at his brother as he talked to a female. It was about time he started to think about those thigns. He never got the chance now. Darkstar wouldn't be allowed to have kits when he was leader. It was regulated. So he sighed at teh two then turned his gaze back over to the kits again watchign his brother play. It was time he became an apperentice. He was getting almost to big to play with the other kits.

Waterstream felt her fur grow hot and got to her paws again, "I think you do, Redheart." She teased again, and gave a little smile. "You snort like a badger's growl." She laughed out, "And who said I didn't like flames?" She asked with a purr.

Redheart chuckeld at her and rolled his red eyes. "Then you'll just get burned." E teased back with a low growl as a purr. He couldnt purr. HE was born without a complete voicebox so didnt have the proper parts to purr. It was always liek that. SO he nosed her shoudler as a small nudge. He remebered growing up with the she-cat but was jsut alittle older than her. But he shrugged red eyes staring at her. "Fire alway's burns it's taker."

Waterstream gave another purr and licked his shoulder, She did love his growl though he could not purr. "But you have to remember," She mewed with a pause, "Water always puts out fire." She teased reminding him.

Redheart chuckled shaking his head at her. "You always go back to that." He teased watching her every move. He was jealous of every cat that could purr which was every cat in the clan but he shruged it off as he kneaded the dirt ndre his paws still lowly growling. He always wondered if his oppenents would ever know if he was happy or mad for growling. But then again they werent in his clan so they would know.

Waterstream gave a low purr, "Yes, but it always works doesn't it?" She mewed. "I'm going to ask Darkstar to go on Dawn patrol, You want to come too?" She purred then padded away.

Redheart gaped his muzzle open at her and swung around after her and nipped her tail. "You do live up to your name. Water always's flows away." He teased and stopped beneath the highrock looking up at his brother.
Darkstar looked down at them both. "Yes?" HE asked leaping down towering over them both. He smield at them slyly but barely seeable. Most cats never saw him smile. "I'm guessing you want a patrol?"

Waterstream gave a nod, "Yes." she mewed noticing his smile. She pretended not to notice. She turned to Redheart and gave a light smile to his words, "Of course thats why it's my name."

Darkstar bowed his head. "Very well. Mark the territory on the border of Thunderclan. I've heard news of it growing weak. I'm sure you wo will be able." HE mewed looking down at them.
Redheart bowed his head to his leader nad padded away out of camp towards the border. HE looekd over his shoulder hoping to see Waterstream following him.

Waterstream bowed her head, then padded after redheart. She caught up brushing her pelt against his and slipping out of the camp. "Hurry up!" She mewed teasing him.
