What determines a characters Ki Points? The way they (Ki Points) where talked about, it seemed to me that every character would have an amount stated somewhere, so that when they use a technique it would deplete some of their Ki.
What is the proper way to post characters? Should I just post in the Profiles thread, or do they need to be approved by someone?
How many techniques can a character learn/start with? What constitutes as a technique?
How many characters can one person have?
Is it possible to have a single character be trained in multiple Martial Arts schools? Could someone have both Crane and Turtle, or with Kikoukenjutsu and Ansatsuken, or any other combination?

The amount of techniques you learn build up your total amount of ki points. So if you learn five techniques and the total for it is 4500, that's how many total ki points you have. What is the proper way to post characters? Should I just post in the Profiles thread, or do they need to be approved by someone? Post in the profile thread and a mod will approve it or tell you if anything needs to be changedHow many techniques can a character learn/start with? What constitutes as a technique? One technique to start with unless your a saiyan hybrid then you'll get two because the Oozaru transformation is automatic if you have a tailHow many characters can one person have? As many as you'd like
Is it possible to have a single character be trained in multiple Martial Arts schools? Could someone have both Crane and Turtle, or with Kikoukenjutsu and Ansatsuken, or any other combination? One character per schoolThat should do it

One character per school Why are we limited in such a way? I realize that someone could become overpowered if everyone learns all the techniques but Martial Arts is all about learning different styles. Take for instance, Jeet Kune Do, that is hybrid of styles, as well as a philosophy. Perhaps draw backs could be made instead? For instance one could be able to do the Turtle Style but are limited in the advancement of the Crane style? You can learn as many as you want, but your character is unable to actually master them all. Maybe it's due to time? Or the user's power level? But I feel that players should have more diversity in fighting. For instance if we played a canon character in here, then Goku wouldn't be able to learn to fly, due to that being a Crane Style, nor would he be able to learn the Kaio-Ken and Spirit Bomb due to being taught by a different martial artist. While he relies on the Turtle style as his default, he is able to spread out and use different techniques.

While he relies on the Turtle style as his default, he is able to spread out and use different techniques. It's limited so that choosing a classification matters. Some of the techniques from the schools are available. It's the basic stuff of the schools that are available because others in the series are seen using the same technique outside of the school. While the advanced stuff is for members of the school only. So you can learn form any school you just can't learn everything As for flight it's a basic technique open for anyone to learn. And training with a kai is the additional martial art you can choose. In addition to your original school or race techniques, when you die you can go to one of the four kais planets to train.

For our starter if we choose a technique below 800 points, for our starters, do we get a bonus if we choose something under 800?

I've looked over the site, and I may have simply missed it but how is combat done here? I prefer a turn based combat system where people are asked not to dodge everything. I am curious because the combat system holds a lot of bearing on whether I would be interested in participating.

Combat... xd Don't know how I missed that. It will be based on the guild who system were using which is pretty much turn based where people are asked not to dodge everything.
I'm gonna make a details of combat in the rules and guideline thread soon Edit: It's up now

Hmm. I assume we are going to try to avoid the whole multiplier-stat gimmick from the Bleach Elites? That seemed like a big problem, especially once people were managing into the millions and whatnot. Beyond that, are there any special rules on stat-tweaking? Like only being + or - 1 or 2 at the beginning, and gradually increasing? (I.e. making a shield/defense custom, would it just raise Defense by 1 or 2, or could it reduce damage taken by a certain amount, or could it redirect projectile attacks? If I have the wrong idea, I'll go back and tweak my custom.)

I don't really know about what goes on in Elites but there will only be addition and subtraction, no multiplying. The stats will stop at 40. The + or - 1 or 2 is what I generally wanna stay around unless it's a temporary transformation then ten points would be divided among the stats like the various transformations in the guild. I read your made up and that seems good.
