Info from the event thread:
The Seishin pack has lived high in the mountains of Honshu for 100 years; watching over the old temples built amongst the pines. A strict and controlled pack; they believe they have been graced with the gods favour and are far more blessed then all the other Kuniku. Living far from other towns or villages; the Seishin are a secluded pack, not willing to deal with outsiders. Each pack member is expected to know their place and to act according to the rules they must all live by.
However, as their hundredth year begins, all is not well within the pack. The pack is divided between a father and a son. The older Kuniku stand firm by their alpha in the belief that only by sticking to tradition can they appease the gods. But his young son finds the constrictive rules to be pointless and the refusal to allow many outsiders to join them (or their own members to leave if they so wish it), narrow minded and foolish.
The cataclysm for this event started many months before, when the son was but a pup. Feeling constricted by the world she had been born into, his mother and the alpha’s mate, fled from the pack in the middle of the night. She was never seen or heard from again. But it left a seed in the pups mind; that maybe this was not the right way and if they continued on like they were, no Seishin Kuniku would ever find happiness.
Now the father and son are set to collide. What side are you on?
So I am the owner of the alpha as well as the general owner of the Seishin pack. (I also own two other kuniku in the pack, lololol.)

Now, down to the nitty-gritty. :3
For right now, I'd like for everyone who won a Seishin kuniku in the event to post their kuniku's cert, some information about him/her, and whether they are supporting Septimus, the prince, or if perhaps they are neutral. Everyone is welcome to choose which side they support (if any), except perhaps the prince (obviously), the winged scout (who is meant to be Septimus's loyal adviser), and the aquatic kuniku (who is meant to be a supporter of the prince).
I'd also like to create some ranks for the members, so if you have an idea of what you'd like your kuniku to specialize in (example ranks could be guards, hunters/foragers, healers, etc.) then please post that too!
If you have a kuniku who was not part of the event who you might like to join the Seishin pack, feel free to post them here too! I've got 10 tokens and I'm willing to spend all of them on getting some edits for new members. :3
Keep in mind that those who do support the prince must keep this a secret (save for around others who know they support the prince, perhaps). Septimus knows there are still traitors among his ranks and he is more than happy to (violently) punish any kuniku he finds disloyal.
As far as plots go, well, that's really up to you guys! :3 Eventually I think it would amuse me to see Septimus overthrown. 8D For a while, though, I think I'd prefer to just have him IC-ly, weed out disloyal members.
I'd be all for plot-twists and character changes, such as the winged scout only pretending to be loyal to Septimus, and actually being loyal to the prince, or vice-versa for the aquatic kuniku.
Just let me know what you guys think, and what you'd like to see happen, and we can discuss it. <3

I'll start the character profiles~
IC: In a word? Mad. Septimus is an egomaniac with a god complex. When he was very young he had a near-death accident, and convinced himself that he avoided death because he was a god. No one cared to dissuade him from this fantasy, and as he grew into a fierce kuniku who commanded respect, his belief in this delusion was strengthened by each weak kuni he saw bow to his power. Now an older kuniku, he is quite convinced that he is, indeed, a deity - specifically, the deity of punishment. The pack is small because he is selective, and not many kuniku can pass the tests he sets up to prove a hopeful member's loyalty and pious respect for such a prestigious and powerful god. Those who do not prove worthy of his pack, traitors within the pack, or generally anyone who might catch him in a bad mood (which is often) get the pleasure of facing his wrath as he exercises his power over his domain. He has not yet tried to kill another kuniku, but he has wounded several very seriously to teach them a lesson. He truly believes the things he tells his pack - that they are god-favoured (obviously they must be to have a god amongst their ranks!) and such.
OOC: Septimus is the alpha. I am hoping to keep him as the alpha, and letting him wreak havoc, at least for a while. xD He is not keen on taking a new mate at the moment, despite it being a long time since his former mate left.
IC: Ki is, in a word, loyal. She is eager to please, particularly those in power. It's not out of a thirst for her own power - in fact, she feels more comfortable out of the spotlight, feeling as if she's not cut out for a leadership role. She's simply attracted to power, to be blunt. And Septimus has plenty of it, as the leader of an age-old pack. So she's taken to following him around, happy to do everything and everything he requests of her, and she always puts her best into whatever she does 'for the good of the pack.'
OOC: Kizuki is, obviously, loyal to Septimus - and no matter what he may say or do, she will always remain loyal to him and him alone. She completely believes that he is a god sent to their pack to give them guidance. In the future I'd like to breed Septimus and Kizuki and give out their offspring as hopeful Seishin members.
IC: Ni is, on the other hand, less than loyal to her alpha. She is a strong follower of the Prince of the Seishin pack and all of his ideals. She thinks the "old ways" and traditions are ridiculous and that new rules should be put into place. She wants to see Septimus overthrown and replaced by his son, whom she idolizes over anyone else.
OOC: Nigatsu is on the other side of the loyalty spectrum. She thinks Septimus is full of s**t, and that the prince should be the one in control of the pack. She will always be loyal to the prince, no matter what.

Benzai reporting for duty~  IC: Incredibly smart and just the right amount of awkward, Benzai has dedicated his whole life to learning about the gods, and how to write in the language they had bestowed upon Nippon. Fairly talented (for a Kuniku) at writing, he prides himself in being able to read, retain, and summarize anything he's seen, thus making him the 'keeper of knowledge' in Seishin's pack.
OOC: Part of him feels bad that he has left his parents' traditions, and has let go all of his old relationships from the pack, but they're still held dearly in his heart as he sides with the Prince. It's only in his nature to want to learn new things, and in order to do that, he has decided that he has to meet new Kuniku... And change the ways of the pack. Thankfully, he has his brother with him for support everywhere he goes.

Kazuki is here to start trouble... I mean better the clan! IC: Kazuki is burdened with the hope of a brighter future for the pack. He is passionate about his ideals despite constantly being shot down by others, although this doesn't always show. He has his doubts due to his inexperience in life. This doesn't mean he will give up - just the opposite actually - Kazuki will continue to fight until he can't any longer. As a result he is very stubborn -but- not mule headed. Kazuki is always thinking of the well being of others whether it be a solo individual or the needs of many. He will often alter his plans if he sees another route will benefit everyone in the outcome better than previous route to be taken. He is always there to lend a hand even to those who have mistreated him in hopes that old grudges and other things can be pushed aside for the greater good of the pack and the future. Outside of his ambition for a better future, one can see his youthfulness. He loves to explore and learn new things and just enjoy life whenever he can.
OOC: Kazuki loves his father as a son should however he highly disagrees with the way things are being run. He doesn't agree with the violent order his father has established as well as this 'god' complex that has been bestowed upon them. If anything, he'd love to see the clan become peaceful and no longer living in fear of the known (his father) and the unknown (outsiders). He would do anything to save his supporters, even if it meant possible death (I don't think Kuniku can die? If I recall a discussion somewhere in thread). Though, partly due to his nature, he would equally risk his life to save one of his father's supporters as well. Papa should be proud DDD< Lol xDD <3

This is Ruri, I was just too lazy to log into my own thing.
IC: Uzumaki is quite mad. He’s completely unpredictable; never truly taking a side, partly because his attention span is too short for something like loyalty and because both alpha and son know that he’s a liability. Uzu however, has his uses and can be easily bribed by giving him ‘beautiful things’ for his collection. At the moment he’s enamoured by the Flying Kuniku and can be found hanging around the alpha in order to get a glimpse of him. He doesn’t seem at all perturbed by the leader’s rather violent temperament and really, there’s no point in punishing him... he’s just brushes it off like it never happened.
Ooc: Years of inbreeding within the Seishin pack, due to lack of outsider interactions meant that Uzumaki was at the short end of the gene pool. He’s more inclined to follow the alpha’s orders right now (because he wants to get a piece of Mr. Purdy Wings), but there’s no guarantee he’ll complete any of them or not get bored along the way. Plus he has a habit of just disappearing every now and then. I get the feeling he’s going to get his a** kicked by the alpha a lot. At least he will do jobs that other Kuniku might refuse to do; things that are either just plain crazy or rather unwholesome.

Hijau was born into the pack as the only daughter of a healer and one of Septimus’s guards. She had three older brothers, which were forced to flee with her father after he had displeased Septimus. Because her mother was the only one who could care for her, Hijau spent most of her time with her mother. When her mother had to help hurt kuniku, Hijau came along to learn. During these visits to other kuni, Hijau would be sent off to collect medicinal plants or other medical supplies. Growing up around ill/injured kuni has allowed Hijau to become used to blood and particularly gory wounds. Because of her mother, Hijau became and adept healer, an important asset to the clan. She knows the land around the home of the pack and knows where to find any medicinal plants.
Her mother is still part of the clan, but Hijau does not see her very often because her mother lives in the temple with the priests.
(Hijau is a relatively young kuni, she is about the same age as the Prince)

ooc:: Hijau will start off neutral, watching the comings and goings of the pack and doing her job. Once she begins to see and the injuries caused by Septimus, her loyalty will swing more to Kazuki.

 IC: The brother of Benzai, Zaiten is quite the daydreamer, and doesn't particularly seem to take anything too seriously despite the obvious tension between Septimus and Kazuki. Most of his time is spent as the pack Fortune Teller, giving nifty little amulets and trinkets to those who believe in the power of his charms for love, luck, and health. Zaiten enjoys playing the role of matchmaker just as much, although he seems dead set on not letting anyone get too terribly close to his brother. He leans more toward the Prince's views because he wants to meet kuniku outside of the pack without restriction (and also because Benzai feels the same way), but can still see the validity of Septimus's rules since the pack has for the most part always been run the same way.
OOC: He does feel some guilt for straying from his parents' beliefs, but not so much that it would make him reconsider his decision to support Kazuki. He is very laid-back and is the type to enjoy fun and games rather than do a lot of hard work. It is sometimes questionable just how close his relationship with his brother really is... but it's not like he'll ever tell you what's on his mind. IC: Having been one of the lucky few allowed to join Seishin, Naderu feels that she owes Septimus her life. After helplessly watching her first litter's eggs be smashed by demons, she lost her purpose and simply drifted through the mountains like a ghost for many months. Septimus came across her and offered her the chance for a new life in Seishin, which she happily accepted. She calls herself a priestess and is very serious about her work, praying every day for the Seishin pack to prosper and for Septimus to grow even more powerful as a god. She has developed strong feelings for her Alpha other than loyalty, but feels she is unworthy and would not act upon them willingly. Naderu openly hates Kazuki, sure that it is demonic influence that has made him act against his own flesh and blood.
OOC: This older female is so incredibly loyal to Septimus that she practically worships the ground he walks on. As a priestess she wants to purify all of those who would doubt Septimus and his ideals, even if that means using violence to prove her point. She is quite snobby and dislikes most members of the pack, feeling that they are easily susceptible to being tainted by the work of demons, unlike herself and Septimus.

 IC: One of the older members of the pack, Shiteki is nearly as aged as the alpha. Some might say older, but she would dismiss such a thing as nothing but rumor. In her years, she has witnessed many things, and has become desensitized, but wizened. She's hardly batted an eyelash at the whisperings of rebellion, she merely goes about her days as she always has. Although, deep down, she's very grateful that both of her conservative parents passed on before they would witness such dissension. Regardless, she refuses to take one side or the other, believing that neither is right to cause chaos and disrupt the lives of the everyday pack members. In an attempt to keep things in balance, she continues to create poems--generally haiku--and recite them to those who need a break from the day, as she always did in the past. She is also a practicing midwife.
OOC: For better or for worse, Shiteki is a completely neutral party. She refuses to let thoughtless loyalties get in the way of taking care of the average citizen, be it through her care and wisdom as a midwife or her stress relieving sessions through poetry, her hobby. She will not refuse service to anyone and is very difficult to spook.

IC: Kenai is a happy kuniku and enjoys the freedom his wings give him, but he wishes that freedom could spread to his lifestyle. He dislikes the way the pack is run, but doesn’t voice his opinions due to his constant direct contact with the Alpha, who would be extremely angered by such thoughts. He remains loyal to the Alpha purely through fear of him.
OOC: Kenai is loyal to the Alpha. He has to be. Kenai doesn't dare go against in him in fear of being hurt, as he's seen what the Alpha can do. Despite this, he's never been hurt by the Alpha, but his greatest fear is that this will change.
He has heard some of the things the Prince has been saying, and doesn't know yet what to think of them.
IC: Miizu is a sensible kuniku - not one for breaking rules. She always tries to think of other, more reasonable options to situations that could result in punishment eg. breaking rules. She likes calm and peaceful environments, but has learnt to live with the silent chaos of the Seishin pack, after all, it is her home.
OOC: Miizu is neutral. She respects the Alpha, but doesn't agree with some of his methods. However, his presence as a leader, in her eyes, is a strong presence. She feels that if the pack were to come under attack the Alpha would be able to lead them to victory.
For the Prince, she likes his way of thinking - it's far more peaceful. However she doesn't see him as an Alpha figure. She thinks some could easily walk over him, but this can change with more life experience. She feels that he just needs more time to grow.
Miizu is currently learning all about medicine, as she aspires to be a healing kuniku. She's good at what she does, but has a lot more to learn.
IC: essica is all about living life to the fullest. She loves to run and play with her friends - having fun is the way to live in her eyes. However, she feels trapped by the pack she was born into. Their strict, controlling rules bring her down, restricting her from having the most fun possible. The one thing she wishes for most, above having fun in life, is for change.
OOC: Jessica is disloyal to the Alpha, and sides with the Prince, however she hasn't vocalized it yet, she just generally stands and listens to everything the Prince has to say. She doesn't want to get in trouble with the Alpha, but completely agrees with the Prince's views.
Jessica is one of the pack members that gathers, mainly foraging for berries or fishing. She's tried hunting but was never very good at it. Her talent definitely lies in fishing!

My only issue is that, from the event, the description Kenai was given seemed to hint that he was supposed to be particularly loyal to the alpha, being his scout and all? However, if Ruri/CDC are cool with him not being loyal to Septimus, that's cool with me. :3

In regards to the scout; to stick with the idea I had of him from the event, at this point in time his loyalty is technically with the alpha. Whether it’s because of intimidation or a sense of duty; he works for Septimus alone.
However! That can change. ;D Through rp, etc. he’s free to go neutral or take the prince’s side. But to begin with he’s with Septimus. If that’s okay Sporkie. >3<
And just a brief environmental note for you TTF; they do share the temple with a number of human priests as well, so they would probably have an ample garden, as well as supplies coming up from the lowlands, and be able to offer up a food source to the Kuni’s. 83
It made me ‘lol’ imaging these humans watching all these Kuniku running past and fighting each other and thinking ‘wtf are these holy things up to?’

Haha, sounds good Ruri~
I imagine the only thing Septimus thinks of humans is that they are tools/slaves to him and his pack, their sole purpose being to serve him and those he cares for. So, that would likely be how kuniku who are really loyal to Septimus would view humans, if ICly they were raised within the pack, because he'd make sure to instill that sort of fearful view of them to pups.
