melody477 I love the book, I've read the original one and the looking glass. I've read both of them as well. I'm writing a story that's sort of based on Alice in Wonderland, so I needed to do the appropriate research by reading both books and writing up a list of characters. What's your favorite chapter of the first book? Mine is... seven, I think. The one about the Hatter and the March Hare.

Hope it goes well for you^^. I honestly, don't know it's been awhile since I read them...But, my favorite part would have to be; .....damnt looks like I don't have a favorite part..."

I may have made it a bit too big, though; it'll be the equivalent of six books when I'm done, and the character sheet is at least fifteen pages long... -_-' Definitely too much work, but since I'm planning on publishing it, it'll be worth it (I hope). It's understandable that you don't have a favorite part, though; the entire book is good. Well, actually, both of them are.

The theme's pretty obscure, I must admit, and you don't exactly see english visual novels aside from the Haruhi Suzumiya books, so... yeah, I'm sort of worried that they may not like my otaku Wonderland with british cat guys and evil princesses. But yeah, the story's classic, and the books, movies, songs, etc. that it's inspired are all great.

melody477 exactly, don't worry it may be different than the orignial but that just makes it better. :3 But it may be a bit too tailored to my own personal tastes, you know? I mean, the Hatter wears a mask, has an alternate personality named Joker, and takes people's souls (bonus points if you can guess that reference); the White Rabbit is the clingy, obsessive Prime minister (same here); the main character in my story is called the Fifth Alice (and here); and the princess is a blonde fourteen-year-old girl who's also called The Daughter of Evil (blatant reference right there). Overall, I think it's a bit too obscure for most american teenagers.

Trust, me it isn't too obscure -is an american teenager- :3....and I feel really bad because, it's on the tip of my tongue but I can't guess the referances gonk

They were: Hatsune Miku's song Joker, Heart no Kuni no Alice's Peter White, the vocaloid song Alice Human Sacrifice, and Kagamine Rin's song called Daughter of Evil. I get a lot of inspiration from music.

melody477 That's awesome....and now I know. I never heard any of the songs but I guess they must be good. They are. And the best part about those songs is that the people who wrote them weren't famous at all when they first started out. Also, they're all sung by awesome Japanese voice synthesizer programs, a.k.a vocaloids. None of them are sung in English, but most have subtitled versions and/or translations if you look.

melody477 Okie, thanks I'll check em out. The best vocaloids, in my opinion at least, are Rin, Len, KAITO, Gakupo, and VY2 Yuma. Also, the group VanaN'Ice (L,G, and K) has great songs as well, such as Imitation Black and Lovelessxxx.
