The courtyard of the Everlasting Dusk Castle is dark, and dead. The trees are dead, the leaves crunch under the feet of those who come here. It is though, in a way, calming. A black metal fence surrounds it, along with the gray brick walls of the castle. Dead pushes and other plants grow here, and although they aren’t the prettiest, they are still appreciated. There are some statues here as well, they are beautiful to look at and calm people’s spirits in a way.

Caliaphy
Caliaphy sat for a long time, so long that she had fallen asleep with her head back, facing the stars. Her nearly permanent scowl that usually occupied her face was faded to not so much of a scowl. She actually looked somewhat peaceful, sleeping there, something that was rare with Caliaphy. She never did look as peaceful while she was sleeping, surrounded by those once knew and even loved. Her hair blew softly through the light breeze.
After a while, Caliaphy had woken up briefly. She stretched and looked around again at the only companions she had, the statues. Caliaphy's eyes flicked quickly from one to another, thinking of who they were, what they did... How they had passed. Her mind was once again troubled, she shook her head quickly giving a snarl, flinched and the thought. Quickly she tossed her long hair behind her and laid down. Her legs were bent slightly, turned to the side, her torso and head pointing straight to the sky. Caliaphy's piercing eyes stared hard at the stars again, as if she was looking the ones who took her family from her in the face. They were filled with so much anger and hate, then they softened into the saddest eyes anyone could muster. That was when she thought of her life, the things she was missing, her mother and father. "I don't think I'll ever have friends like you two again." Caliaphy muttered quietly to her deceased family. "I don't ever think I'll have friends at all. I have nothing to give but anger." She raised her tone. "And it's all the fault of those bastards! Those damn bastards!" She slammed her fists to the ground. Caliaphy laid there until again, her peaceful sleep had taken her over again.

The small Titan flew and flew, not knowing where he was going, just enjoying the breeze flowing through his wings and hitting his face. He closed his eyes and drifted off, but still flying, dreaming of his family and what he wished he was like. Titan flew for what could have been hours, but may have only been a few minuets. The the ignorant Titan felt a leaf hit his face. He throw off looking back, Titan then looked forward only to notice that he was about to hit a giant, or maybe just a normal sized female. He put his hands out in front of him and closed his eyes as if she was going to magically disappeared. Magically was right because instead of disappearing he hit hear arm and fell on his bottom. Titan's eyes got big and scrambled to his feat and tried to run away.

Caliaphy
Caliaphy woke at the sudden, yet minuscule impact. She got up quicker than you can blink with both her fists, and her teeth clenched and her eyes narrow with anger. "Watch it! What the hell even!?" Caliaphy snapped sharply at the young man, looking him over. Her large wings her outstretched completely, she always did this at times she wanted to be intimidating.
After and intense stare for a few minutes, Caliaphy loosened up a little, but not much. She kept her eyes on him, crossing her arms and giving a small aggravated snarl. Then she quickly turned her head away and snapped at him again. "Who are you and what are you doing here?" Her tone was very pointed.

Titan's eyes got huge after he saw her wings, he then looked over at his own and stroked them. Titan did the best he could to not make eye contact with her but she wouldn't give in. Titan inched closer and closer to a rock trying to hide behind it, reminder Titan's smart, but not street smart. He was VERY obvious. Titan would peek around the rock and shivered. He then looked at her, "I'm a, I'm a, s-sorry." He said with a slight chatter in his teeth. Titan looked at the girl, she seemed pretty mad and Titan could sense that. Titan didn't want to answer her question because he was scared he would give an answer she didn't like, but at the same time didn't want her to get even more pissed at the poor elf. "W-well, I-I , my, my name i-is, uh-um, Titan." He said stroking his wing. "I-I ca-came here on on accid-accident." Titan said shivering like a tiny chiwawa. "I-I di-din't mean to-to, uh, hit y-you." Titan said at the last moment. He wanted to yell at her and let loose but he realized that she could easily stomp on him at any time.

Caliaphy
Caliaphy tapped her foot impatiently as she waited for him to get his words out. She continues to look away from him with an extremely annoyed and unimpressed expression remaining on her face. After he finished she tossed her hair quickly only to have it fall back into her eyes as it was before. Loosening up, Caliaphy's wings folded a bit, losing a bit of their intimidating size but not too much to make him completely comfortable.
Looking over at him quickly, arms still crossed, eyes still narrow, looking him up and down. She had every intention of ripping his heart out verbally, but her thoughts earlier caused her to decide against it. Caliaphy sighed and looked him over again. "Just... Watch where you're going next time, please and thank you." Softly, but still angry, she spoke. "I don't like being disturbed."

Titan stopped shivering as she seemed to kind of cool down. He looked at her with his big brown eyes said, "Thank you," and then bowed. He was going to start flying again when he looked over to see that no one else was there with her. Titan built up the courage to ask, "Are you here a-alone?" He asked timidly. Titan's anger level fell as his pity rose. Titan did his very well best not to be correcting about, 'how she could put her hair in a correct form, so that it would not fall in her face.' But Titan held his tongue.

Caliaphy's wings had folded, but again, not much. She shifted her weight and put a hand on her hip. Her eyes met his and quickly she replied. "Yeah, I am. It's where I live." Caliaphy's eyes had the intensity as if asking "what of it, huh?" She tapped her foot a couple times before shifting her weight again and crossing her arms. "What about you, you by yourself?" Her tone was uninterested, and she turned her head to look at something to her side, eyes flicking around.

Titan looked at her. Is anger rose as her wings folded, but at the same time she was at least trying to make conversation which made Titan very happy. "Well it's uh, uh very nice place to live." He said uncertainly. Titan looked away, "Yeah I'm by myself, nothing but the wings on my back." Titan said pointing his thumb to his minuscule wings chuckling. "So, I guess you want to be left alone, right?" Titan asked by sensing her mood.

Caliaphy shrugged her shoulders and shook her head a little. She could tell he was a little upset, but didn't think much of it. She wasn't one to care what people felt, at least, she wanted to seem tougher than that. "I don't care, you can stick around if you want."
This was her normal behavior, this is how she always acted, even around the friends that sometimes come around. Caliaphy looked him over again and started making her way toward one of the statues, running her fingers across the stone. "So where do you live?" She tried to sound interested, by her tone always came off unimpressed. She sighed.

Titan's anger rose once more. "I live in a forest." He made his answer short and sweet, if it would have been any longer he would have screamed. Titan clenched his fist, he could not bight his lip any longer, "Is it just me or are you coming off somewhat sophomoric?" He asked blatantly. "I don't mean to come off insincere but," Titan said letting loose with a hint of remorse in his voice. 'What am I doing? I'm loosing my only chance of survival!' He though. Titan's face dropped. "I'm sorry, I uh, didn't mean to come off like that, it's just uh, I've had a long day. I mean I'm sure you have too, but uh..." Titan trailed off.

Caliaphy turned to him and looked him straight in the face. "Excuse me? Well sorry I'm not cream and sugar, pumpkin!" She rose her voice and crossed her arms. Her fuse was extremely short, maybe even non existent, and he certainly set her off.Not planning on taking that comment easy, she made her attack. "You're the one who can't even spit your friggin' words out! Who wouldn't get pissy listening to that! Not to mention, you hit me while I was sleeping! Sleeping! How much sleep do you think I get-!" Caliaphy stopped herself mid sentence. Her eyes stared so hard that you wouldn't be surprised if he could feel them pierce right through him. "Whatever. Sorry." She turned around, growled and crossed her arms, gripping them lightly trying to cool down. Her mother and father wouldn't ever act this way in front of a stranger. Caliaphy stood quietly for a long time.

Titan scrapped his foot on the floor, he didn't really know what to say. He looked at her and then would glance away. It was a pure awkward silence. Titan had no idea what to say or if he even should say anything. 'Maybe the best thing to do id to let this go.' Titan thought to himself. He looked at her. "Well I guess, you want to be left alone I guess right?" Titan held his left arm loosely, looked down at his feet, and started to walk away.

Caliaphy narrowed her eyes and gave a quick "Ugh!" She looked at him while he started to walk away like he was crazy or something. She was in the wrong, but it didn't occur to her right away. Caliaphy never came off the way she wanted, except when she was yelling at someone. Pushing her hair from her eyes, she rubbed her forehead and but a hand on her hip. "Sorry. I shouldn't have spoken like that." Quietly she sighed.
