Marcel walks up to the gym but leans against the door before going inside. He watches the ground for a moment, thinking over what path he will take. Marcel pulls out a cellphone-type piece of equipment that he had kept since he was in Team Rocket. There is even an emblem on the front. He flips it open to look at any missed calls or messages or any reports and notices he has very many--from Giovanni. Marcel sighs and sinks to the ground, sitting there with one knee pulled up, just staring at the device.
What lies at the end of this journey? Vengeance.

Team Rocket aside--for now--he is getting to the Elite Four. Perhaps not for the reasons all these kids are. Marcel turns to the doors and pushes them open.
