Mare walked with her hands in her pockets and her eyes on the sky. There had been little to do as of late. Not many portals had opened up around the city, and she had not seen any of her partners for a while. That was normal when times were slow. She could always contact them if she needed to. Plus she always had one watching over her even if she didn't know it.

Down the dark alleyway light rippled and distorted as reality parted and from a world beyond a twin tailed digimon stepped out. It have been so long since she had been here let alone contacted her 'human pet', Nuru. His end of the deal he made still wasn't fulfilled, the antidote for Chaos has not been made. In a slight irritation from her conversation with the younger digimon being interrupted and the lack of things working out, the bastemon returned to the human world to to force her hand and make things work.

A beep came from her pocket and like she normal did she took out her digivice to peer at it. A portal had opened up not to far away. Sighing for a moment she looked up at the sky again and started down a different street. She would check to see what had entered. But at the moment her mind was on other things so she didn't think anything of the high level signal.

Ears folded back and hands stuffed deep into her pockets of her pants Fuega moved silently through the shadows, her long feathers on her back flowing as she moved. This world stunk of the human filth that walked it and she hated it. A growl hitched in her throat as she watched the lights of street cars come into view then pass.

Another check of where the portal opened and she stopped infront of an alley and peered down it. Slowly placing her digivice back into her pocket she takes a step back. She was not sure what digimon it was but she knew it was humanoid and that ment a high level.

A ear plicked upwards at the sound of footsteps and her green eyes narrowed in. Thin black lips drew back into a snarl. Fast. Too fast a DATS member pick up on her let alone locate her. Stopping she stared for a long moment towards this would be threat before her. A hand in her pocket tightened around the pocketknife she still held in her possession. One she had intended to return to her 'pet'. She growled and a breeze picked up, moving the two feathers on her back as it flowed down the ally.

Mare took a deep breath and watched the shadows for a long moment before stepping forward. "Lucky me." She mumbles under her breath and was not even sure what to say at the moment. Moving into the ally she kept a careful eye on the shadows. "Any reason your in this world?" She didn't have much force behind her voice at the moment but she was being careful.

The snarl quickly faded to a wicked grin. Perhaps things were looking up for her. Atleast for now any ways.IN a blur she moved until she was standing infront of Mare, Bearing down over her, "Well well well." she sadistically purred, "Look what I found." Removing itself from the confines of her pocket Fuega grasped Mare's shirt at the shoulder and gripped it tightly in her black palms.

Mare went to take a step abck but didn't have time. She let out a squeak and cursed herself for it. Her mind whirled with how stuiped she was for coming without any of her partners. But she put on a smile and tried not to let her fear show in her voice. "Hm, you found a human. That must be hard in this world."

A pink tongue traced over her black lips briefly before she leaned nearly into mare's face, "Funny." The words were flat and emotionless, "But of all the humans I could find, it is you. The one that insists Nuru stays way from me." Her lips twisted as white fangs showed past them, "Mare." it was like the word itself was a foul taste she has to spit out lest it upset her stomach.

Mare took a deep breath trying to stay calm. "Yes and with good reason. But at the moment doesn't seem like the best time to go over them." She offered a smile. "I just don't want him to get in over his head before he knows what is going on." She took another breath.

Amused by it all Fuega pulled at the cloth trying to life Mare off the ground slightly, "And you act as if you fear me." her free hand rose and ran down the girls cheek before a nail dug in under her chin, "I can't understand why." she faked being hurt by the notion.

Mare held back a squeak and looked at Fuega. "I'm not sure, could be the fact that you are powerful." She took another breath and offered another smile to the Bastemon. "And I don't think you really care if I feared you or wanted to know more about you." She tried to shift.
