Faith...
Love...
Hope...
...Ruined...
In the days since the beginning of time, many clans have emerged from different species of people. People they once were, but some not so much anymore. One type of once were people are the vampires. Night dwellers whom feast on the blood of others to stay alive and sane. The vampires have an academy, a secret alliance that nobody knows the real meaning of unless you are a vampire and in the academy yourself. The vampires reside in a secluded end of the forest, caves in the ground marking the entrance to a small town within.
The dark elves are a clan of elves whom hold a very dear secret in their clan. They seem to have a secret weapon that gaurdian elves have kept under lock and key since time began. The weapon is a very sacred and old item that has the poewr to destroy the realm of Azreal, and one elf has the knowledge of this item safe in her mind. The gaurdians keep it safe, but only she knows what it really does and what it is capable of. The clan dwells in a forest at the base of the great Azreal mountain, it's snow peaks high above the clouds. A tomb is carved into the mountain that holds the item, cast with spells that keep it safe...At least the dark elves believe it is safe.
Now for the humans. They keep themselves away from the vampires and the dark elves, in a city located on the opposite side of the mountain. The humans keep themselves away for one reason, they have discovered the art of magic and have started using it for defenses against the other races in the realm. Back before this era the races had a civil war, the humans prevailing but afraid of a rise of vampires and elves against the humans. They built an academy to train people in the use of magic, and also as weapons in case another war is brought about.
((I will need people in charge of these different races. Any and all ideas to add to the plot will be greatly considered, to make this guild a more unique and personnel guild.))

It was a cold day in the small town of Werstire, hidden away below the vast mountain of Azreal in a large forest. The dark elves going about with their business as usual, except for one elven woman whom carried the burden of a long hidden artifact. Her dark brown eyes scanned the streets, paranoia seeping into her veins as she once again tried to search for something out of the ordinary. Once again, nothing was out of place. The townsfolk were doing their usual business, shopping and trading and talking with others.
Letting out an annoyed sigh, Red Yusuke walked among the other elves, keeping her black avian wings pressed against her back. Each elf had something cool that they were born with. Some magic, some wings, tails, you name it someone would end up having it. The most usual trait was magic among the people. Red was one of the few born with wings, the others were children and she was in charge of teaching them to fly. She was skipping out on the lessons for now, tired of them not listening to her. One of the kids ran up to her, the boys wings a beautiful white with black and brown specs splotched all over them. His only reached a width of 6 feet since he was only a boy. Her's reached a magnificent 15 feet, and the children looked up to her with great respect.
"Hello Gail, how are you today?" Her voice was smooth, not betraying the usual paranoia she felt every day.
"Red! Why aren't you teaching today?" His innocent eyes beamed up at her, doing the googly eyes. He knew she couldn't resist.
Giving a sigh, Red knelt down and placed a slender hand on his frail shoulder. "I will, I have some stuff I need to do. In an hour round up all the kids and meet me in the usual clearing outside of town and I will begin lessons."
The boy beamed ear to ear with a grin, jumping up and down with a flutter of his wings before yelling an okay and running off to meet the other kids to tell them. A small smile reached her lips as she watched him go.

Finally. He didn't have to do babysit some of the newborns, which were stupid in their very own reasons. Stupid in the fact that they went crazy every time they went next to a bloody drop of blood. Or going after some rabbit right in the middle of him trying to babysit them, while the leader went somewhere else for some bloody reason. Gosh...
'Bah! They have no idea how to tell a human from a bloodied doorknob. I don't know why the leader even wants me to teach them... maybe send them in front of some elves. They're strict, aren't they? Of course they are. Maybe that would be more helpful then chasing rabbit's 'round and 'round.' He laughed once at the image, glancing around for the young vampire that had run off somewhere for no damn reason. Just to tick him off, most likely. Or he was just being paranoid. Most likely the latter, because much as he would love the world to do, it didn't revolve around him. It would be much better if it did, but it didn't, and he needed to just get over it, and get on with life.
"Um, sir, why did Jimmy run off?"
Jaeger turned to the voice, but recognizing it as Stephen, a very young vampire. Not young, as in age, but young according to being a vampire. He was probably around fourteen, and already he was stupid enough to make even some of hic companions ticked off.
"Because, Stepheny, he's stupid. And chased after a rabbit. It's a good reason not to, hmm?" After that, he gave Stephen a smack upside the head, growling his displeasure of trying to find Jimmy. Jimmy was the stupidest vampire he had ever found, and if he could pass up the opportunity to baby-sit him then he would. Oh, he so would. But he would take it, and then finally have a real job befitting a second-in-comman vampire. Maybe that was why the young vampires didn't run off as much as they used to... so that was one good thing. He could hold his rank high over their heads, where they never could find out how to smack it back at him without being disrespectful, and giving Jaeger a reason to smack people. And you didn't want that, Jaeger thought with a smirk.
'Ha... ha ha... that would be funny. I wish I could... just give me one reason to kill one of you, and I would gladly do it. You would be a nice snack for me, and, if I pleased, then you would be left to the crows. And I have good reason to do so... you running off. Good thing I'm in a good mood today. ' Jaeger thought with a grin, and a laugh as he walked into the field. Mmm... now where did that idiot go off to? He could hear Stephen behind him, but ignored the racket he made. Ack, he would soon learn, and learn hard.
(( Short... >.< ))

Bumping into an eldery elven lady, Red jumped two feet back with a shriek. Letting out a breath she wasn'tr aware she was holindg, she knelt down with a grumble and picked up the basket the woman had dropped. "Here, sorry." She said quietly, before running off into the crowd. It had been an hour, and she was late to teach the little ones how to fly. They were going to be pissed at her...
Weaving in and out of different elves, Red gave up and went into an alley. She wasn't going to get there soon enough if she tried to navigate the crowd of people. Snapping her beautiful black wings open to their full fifteen feet, she crouched down and pushed up hard with her legs to get airborne a few feet. Pushing down with her wings a few times and she was above the streets in no time. The wind ripped through her long brown hair as she flew towards the clearing she was to meet the kids. Sometimes she wished they would learn by jumping off a really tall cliff.....
Seeing the clearing, Red dropped down in front of the children, making them gasp and awe at her sudden air drop appearance.
"'Bout time!!!" Gail shouted, pointing a grimy little finger at her.
Red put her hands on her sides in a huff. "Hey, it's not my fault you all got here early!" She retorted, before cracking a smile. "Okay, so last time I taught you the basics of flapping your wings and keeping them steady. This time, i'm going to pick you up and throw you into the air, to see if you can flap enough to get to that branch up there." Red stopped and pointed up to a branch that was ten yards up.
The first to jump up was Gail, he was always so eager to try something new. Bending down, Red clasped her hands together so both palms were up, allowing him a spot to stand so she could boost him up. Gail stepped on her hands and opened his little wings, posing them just like she had taught last week. "1....2....3!" On three, she lifted her hands up and threw him into the air, backing up so she wouldn't get hit by his wings which were flapping in all which directions. His little tongue was poking out of his mouth in concentration as he flapped hard, making some distance between him and the ground. He threw his hands up and grasped the branch. "I did it!!!!"

"'Bout time!!!"
Jaeger's head jerked up from the muttering he had been doing before, and shifted his eyes around the massive field. Oh gosh, he wished this field was this large. It was so large that it meant more work for him. But what had been that noise? Was it... was it a little boy? None of the vampires could be considered little; the youngest one was thirteen! And that boy was the one he was looking for right now! This one was younger, he thought with interest. Maybe he could have a quick snack, and then get on with looking for lost Jimmy.
"Hey, it's not my fault you all got here early!"
He froze, cursing to himself, and cautiously moved forward much more carefully then before. Stephen took note of this, and made his footsteps quieter as well. 's**t. Well, there goes a chance to get lunch on the way. There seems to be children... which shouldn't be a problem, but there is also an adult female; elf. Dark elf, to be exact. Great. There goes my easy snack...' Jaeger trailed off in a huff, but was curious. This was very interesting; why were they out here? Sure, he was sort of on their turf, but why would she bring young elves (looking so tasty) so close to the vampire land? Ah, whatever. He would see who and what they were doing, and then get out of there. He wasn't in the mood to fight with a dark elf that was intent on guarding its young. Yes, he said 'its', because he was way too lazy to do anything else. He hardly knew her; he only knew her as what's-her-name from that one town near here. He never paid attention to elves; only in wartime. Then he had a very keen eye for exactly what they did...
He tilted his hat forward, blocking most of the sunlight from reaching his eyes. As long as he didn't tilt his head up, then he should be fine. Argh, he hated daytime. It was quite stupid, annoying, and very... very... he shooed the thought away after not thinking of an ending.
"1....2....3!"
What the hell could require that much noise? Why were children always so noisy!? Not like he wasn't... but he could be very quiet. They just couldn't. It was physically impossible for a young thing to be quiet, and to be safe. That was the reason he was running after Jimmy, and and that was the reason he heard the stupid elves. 'Little young birdies flapping in the trees! WHEE!'Jaeger grinned crazily, chuckling at his own little joke, and following the noise. Sooner or later, he would have to come to the end-
"I did it!!!!"
He heard a rustling in the tree, and the flapping of wings. Looked like these young 'its' had wings. Harder then he would have thought anyway. But why make so much noise? Dark elves were very good at being silent as well. Then again, these were children. Stupid children...
He let out a small sigh, before a river of laughing followed. OH GOSH THESE CHILDREN WERE SO FUNNY! They made his tummy laugh. And he liked that about people. He would try and make friends with one of them... or try and make snacks. Whichever one came first, and whether or not the adult turned her back long enough.
"All of you are so funny! You all make my tummy laugh."
"Jaeger! Those look like Jimmy! But why do they have wings?" Jaeger's hand came slapping on top of Stephen's mouth, shushing him effectively.
"Shut it, Stephen. Or would you like to get punished the same way Jimmy is going to be?" The vampire gave a cruel chuckle, and a evil smirk came to his face, as he touched the tip of his hat in greeting to the dark elf.
"Hello there..." Jaeger almost purred out... well now, here was one dark elf that he wouldn't mind knowing. And then snacking on...
(( I am SO sorry. My mom wanted me to do something right then, and she wouldn't allow me to post. ))

Tira ================================ ☠ ================================ Aww, you broke already. Oh well. I guess I'm done with you. Tira was being told of what to do left right and center, so what did Tira do? Kill them all! Tira sighed a tad as she found that she was something like a second in command and that she had to lead people. well, not at the moment she didn't. Fighting people at the moment sounded much better to her! She giggled happily as she skipped about, thinking of who she could kill next. Hmm. Tira ran out of the training ground, as she was told to train people, and down a small path, killing anyone that got in her way. Ehehehe! Tira giggled happily as she had her fill of killing for now. She ran back up to the training grounds and looked at the people that she was suppose to teach. Hmmm... Very mediocre, this won't do! Nope nope! Tira said to herself as she spun her ring around her hand. Tira sighed as she clapped her hands and decided to teach them, just to get it over with.
After a little while of teaching, Tira got bored again and wandered off as usual. Hardly anyone knew where she was half of the time. She happily skipped down the path again to just see what the people were up to. Tira sighed when everyone ran into their houses when she came by. Of course they were all scared of her! She giggled happily to herself as she then found someone who didn't run away. Let's dance! Tira giggled happily as she spun her ring around her hand and sliced the man in half! Tira giggled as she watched him die. People are always most beautiful, just before they die! Tira said as she happily just watched his blood pool under his two body parts. She giggled again as she skipped away.
Tira was very tempted to actually just go to the elven land, or the vampire land just to go kill someone. She was itching for it. She swiped her blue hair away from her face as she sighed heavily. No one wants to play! Tira whined to herself as she dragged her ring along the ground and walking down that very same path. she sighed heavily as she continued to walk. Her gloomy personality now coming through. Tira grumbled to herself as she found the edge of the woods. Hmmm, yes or no.. They might need her. Tira groaned loudly as she turned around and went back. Maybe they were looking for her, or maybe throwing a hissy fit because she wasn't there. She'd make them wait a little longer. She rather enjoyed seeing other people's misery!
[OoC:// Sheesh, my post feels small compared to yours xD Then again, I group a lot of my text together xD] Hmm. Very mediocre, this won't do! Nope nope! ================================ ☠ ================================

  "What's wrong?"
At the outskirts of the city a voice called out to Tira. Andre was standing there, left hand in pocket while he scratched his chin. The man dressed in a red tank and black jeans peered over the rim of his glasses with a glimpse of his golden eyes gazing over the green tinted glasses. This guy knew far too well of Tira's motivation for "fun" and he simply wasn't pleased with it. He wondered if she had just got done slaying vampires as she was coming back from the forest....although the look on her face proved otherwise. Andre had no doubt that someone like her would have enjoyed the task way immensely. 'Course he couldn't blame her for wanting to do so. Everyone in this town was raised up believing that anything other than human was "evil".
Whatever.
Anyway.
Andre would watch Tira carefully as she was highly unpredictable. How she came to be second in command was intriguing...perhaps it was her natural ability to take away someone's life...So why was Andre even risking his own life with her..? This was a question Andre kept asking himself.

Paperwork. The one thing Nakel hated the most, yet always found himself stuck with. He was sure that being the right hand man of the leader would mean nothing but honing his skills, and partaking in skirmishes. This would probably be true, if there was a recurring threat to the homeland. But of course, their wasn't. So, he was stuck reading over the problems the nobles have with common folk, or with each other. See, the wealthy dark elves look down upon anyone who doesn't have as much wealth then them, and if you were richer, you were considered a threat. Constant bickering between families was natural, but it wasn't done verbally. No, no, the wealthy see themselves as too "precious" to argue, so they let other people do it for them. They send complaint forms to the High Council, and get them to do the dirty work for them.
Nakel hated the noble families, and almost always just denied any claims sent. This is what made the paper work boring. It had nothing to do with foreign policy, or the movement of an army. No, it was the childish games the wealthy liked to play. Signing another denied request, Nakel walked over to the window and opened it. Light cascaded through the open window, bathing his skin as if crystals danced across his flesh. The cool breeze of the spring air rushed into the room, embracing him as he stood there. He inhaled deeply and relaxed, pushing all thoughts of the paperwork leave his mind. The day was young, and he has yet to eat. This was Nakel's favorite time of the day, and their was no need for him to waste it here.
He left his private quarters and headed out into the crowed streets. Freshed baked bread could be smelled from near and far, and the low sound of the street performers playing their lutes, and harps and various other wind and string instruments was also in the air. Nakel would head to his usual vendor, and purchase his usual breakfast. A loaf of bread soaked with honey and cream. As for a drink, water would more than satisfy his needs.
Nakel wandered down the familiar streets, taking the same path he did every morning. He arrived at the vendor in no time at all, and was instantly recognized by the owner of the stand. "The usual right Nakel," the man shouted as he began to near the stand. A simple nod of his head, and the man handed him his bread and a cup of water. He sat down on a polished tree stump, crossing his right leg over his left as he looked into the open field before him. He balanced the plate on the open space on his left thigh, and began to eat it slowly. The kids were practicing their flying lessons again, and he decided to watch them for a bit before he would return to his quarters, and deal with the bothersome paperwork he left himself.

Tira ================================ ☠ ================================ Aww, you broke already. Oh well. I guess I'm done with you. Tira looked up to the voice and her shoulders fell. I'm Booooooored!! Tira whined as she dragged her ring blade. She sighed heavily as she shifted her purple eyes to the ground. You wanna play with me? Tira asked the man just on the outskirts of town with her. She had fun playing with him, that was for sure! She hated this bored feeling, she just wanted to go kill someone! It was what she did! Her happy personality quickly faded as her eyebrows pulled together.
I'll kill you! Tira threatened as she walked past the man. She was soo bored! Her evil personality came through. Tira growled to herself as she pulled her ring blade onto her shoulder and went back to training people. She had actually killed a few because she was in her evil personality AND they weren't listening to her at all. Tira had grown bored again and went back over to the man who had asked her what was wrong before. When do we get to fight... I'm bored sitting here. Tira complained as she saw that her ring blade was dripping with blood. Not that she cared much, she rather liked seeing blood on her blade. Made her feel good about herself. She figured.

Andre could only watch, disturbed abut admittedly amused with Tira's actions. His face showed this with a lowered brow and an uncertain smirk playing over his lips. This was another good reason as to why he didn't participate with the academy. No telling who would snap and who wouldn't...
Tira approached him once more and shot him an interesting question. He'd push shades up and hum, "Hmm...nothing is really stopping you from going now. But I don't think that'd be wise...if the vampires don't slaughter you the elves will execute you. We won't be able to come to your rescue~"
Andre used the term "we" lightly as he wasn't quite satisfied to group himself with the academy. Regardless, Andre was pulling the tail of a tiger by mocking Tira. The people around them knew it too. He caught a few passersby glancing his way who were very concerned for both of his and Tira's well-being. A couple of people would quickly chant and place protective shields around themselves just as casually as one would take open an umbrella under falling rain. Although Andre thought that perhaps an umbrella should be carried around this girl as she seemed to make the skies cry blood.

As soon as Gail had reached the branch, Red had put her arms up underneath him to catch him when he left go, since landing is very difficult to learn. Before he had let go, a strange voice sounded in the clearing.
"All of you are so funny! You all make my tummy laugh."
Gail froze, Red froze, and the kids froze. Red snapped out of it right as Gail let go and almost crashed to the ground, but she caught him just in time.
"Jaeger! Those look like Jimmy! But why do they have wings?"
Two?! They were not elven, which meant they were in the elven territory and were trespassing. Normally one would not trespass without intent.
"Shut it, Stephen. Or would you like to get punished the same way Jimmy is going to be?"
Threatening. Which also wasn't good. Red put Gail down and pushed him behind her, ushering the other three kids behind her as well. She turned her brown eyes to the intruder, and her heart sank. Vampire.
"Hello there..."
His voice sent shivers down her spine, and she really wished she had canceled the training today like she had wanted to in the first place. This was all Gail's fault and those damned googley eyes...She swallowed a lump in her throat, steel taking over her eyes. Red was in charge of these kids, and she wasn't going to allow this vampire to have them for a snack. Once again it was the paranoia taking effect...
"What do you want?"
She made sure her voice didn't betray any tone of weakness, that was the last thing she needed was this vampire to attack.
