"No matter how deep the Darkness, a light shines within."

There was a seemingly magical feel to the falls this day to a particular traveler. The sky was painted with its normal pastel pinks oranges and blues, the mist of the gravity defying falls swirled about as if in a dance with itself, and the multi-sized floating blue rocks hovered in a random scattering around the place. It was quite a place to make your first stop.

Judah who had left the Dark Meridian on a small one man gummi ship what seemed like an eternity ago had now landed on his first world outside of the darkness. After a lifetime in such a dark place, it was an extraordinary sight to behold a world that was so vibrant with color and seemingly alive. His eyes were wide with childlike wonder, and an unusual energy flowed through him as he leapt from floating stone to floating stone to get a higher vantage point to behold the natural beauty before him.

When he finally reached a pleasing height he laid down on the edge of the large bare floating stone and hung his head off of the edge watching the swirl of mist, the explosion of colors, and the dance of the floating stones. He had never experienced such a thing. In a life so filled with darkness and violence this was quite breathtaking. He felt as if he could stay there forever and die happy, but surely darkness could not reside in a such a place and his mission was clear, to find the darkness and be a vanguard against it.

Silver walks around hollow bastion. Seeing this as her first time here. She walks towards a open space where she could see the sunrise and set. Sitting at the end of it and letting out a sigh. Seeing the sunrise is the best time of day to her. Next to seeing the sunset as well

After what seemed like an eternity, Judah had his fill of the glorious sight below him and turned over onto his back. Before he had left the Dark Meridian there had never really been a moment like this, he always had to watch his back and be ready for the next attack coming from the surrounding darkness. Here it seemed so peaceful and open that he felt as if this would be an ideal spot for a nap.

He knitted his hands neatly together behind his head and gazed up to an equally enchanting scene. The mist from below swirling up in towers of white flecks, joining themselves together and forming clouds in the heavens above which were caught by the wind and carried off to another destination. With a smile he watched the events take place until the serenity of it all calmed him to a point when his eyelids grew heavy and he fell asleep right there on the rock.

Not wanting to miss this picture. Silver took out a peice of white paper she had and color pencils. Drawing the picture before her. Before that she stood up to see someone else that was watching the sunset or sunries as well. Not wanting to wake him she quitly drew the picture of the sunrise or sunset with him in it.

The nap definitely ranked among the best he had ever taken, although that wasn't a very extensive category. He woke up close to twenty minutes later feeling very refreshed and alert. Years in the Meridian had gotten him used to functioning on little sleep, and maximizing what little he did get. With a deep sigh he basked in the moment of opening his eyes to a portrait sky rather than a black expanse. He wasn't sure if he would ever get used to it.

Getting to his feet he looked back over the edge of the floating boulder and saw the figure far below holding up some utensils, he guessed for drawing although it had been some time since he had seen the art being practiced. He made a few agile leaps using lower rocks for stepping stones until he was at the same level with the figure, who he now realized was a lady. He strolled slowly up to her, so as not to frighten her and tried to get a look at the picture.

He had not been in this world for long, but due to it's picturesque beauty he figured everyone who inhabited such a place must be good at heart and untroubled, so he had no problem approaching her with such an action.

When he had seen the drawing, Judah was quite impressed. He even noticed his own silhouette shaded against the bright sky upon the high rock. When he had his fill of the picture he stepped around into the girls view, a slight smile adorning his features.

"That is quite a picture you have drawn there, how did you come to be such a skilled artist?"

It would be nice to talk with someone he wasn't defending or fighting against for once. A normal conversation had been all but absent from his life for such a long time it almost felt awkward to speak in such a manner, but he pressed through the feeling in order to start the interaction.

He smiled at her response, glad to hear someone speak of something they loved. It had been a long time since he had heard the word uttered out loud. Ever since his mother had appeared and rescued him from the heartless that tried to consume his father the word had been eerily absent from life.

"So how do you like living in a place free from darkness such as this?" He asked using his preconceived notion that no darkness could exist in such a place.

"Well, this is the first time for me being here. I go from place to place to see what they have and what it looks like". Silver said

Her response caught him off guard, but not for long. He reasoned that such a wonderful place must have visitors quite often to behold all of its natural wonders. While he still had not made it into the city, a sight such as this surely would reflect everything else on this world. After pondering he brought his attention back to the lady in front of him.
With a smile he stuck out his hand, offering it politely to her. It was nice to meet another alien to this world. Since she wasn't a native he felt an introduction was in order, to make them both feel a bit more welcome.

"It seems as if we are in the same boat then. I am Judah."

Shane walked through Hollow Bastion when he saw Silver and Judah talking. "Eveything seems to be peaceful here. Maybe its all over." He thought.
