OMG role play. And I made it a sticky. Teehee. I think I'm abusing my power. But this is MY guild and I can do what I want. So thar. Hah. If, for some reason, anyone else starts using this, I will turn this to a regular thread. But Dmitri and Juliet are just SO important that they get their own sticky. /my...that sounds dirty.....bad Ice.../
So this is a role play for Dmitri and Juliet. Yay. It's between May and me. So don't post unless your screen name is Maylean Call or icegirl6274. In case you forgot what your screen name is, it's at the top of the screen, above your gold. It's in bold after 'Welcome back'. So there you go.

Juliet sighed as she woke to just another day in the little town she called her home. Yup, nothing new was going to happen today. She would wake, get ready for school, leave upon the bus, arrive at the blasted place, waste a few hours of her life, then once more return home to where there was also nothing to do. What to live for, she asked herself. Recently she had become attached to a fashion called "steampunk" and she reckoned it was one of the few things that had her wake up every morning. She just loved to put on those outfits she had bought. It was a good thing daddy dearest hadn't seen her bills yet. Not that he would care a bit. He was never home, same with mummy. They were always out and about, be it work or play. They always felt bad for her so a little splurge on the plastic was nothing new or something they couldn't handle.
She sighed as she kicked the sheets away from her and sat up, her wavy red hair spilling out around her. She loved her hair, it was perfect. There were so many girls with unruly wavy hair but not her. It always worked perfectly with her.
Her feet touched the warm carpet and she pushed herself up and walked to the closet. Ah yes, school worthy clothing. Something that would really label her as a freak. That was indeed what she wanted. She fetched a lovely outfit and put it on, buttoning up the lovely vest and sighing with a smile. Everything was going to go as planned.
She slipped from the house with a quiet whisper of goodbyes and walked up to the bus stop, a smile on her face. Her messenger bag hung from her shoulder and her hair was pulled back into two pigtails with the exception of her bangs that hung down and around her face.
Now to wait for the bus to arrive like she did every day.

Dmitri stood outside his home, breathing heavily. He had his hand placed firmly against the frame around the front door as he tried to catch his breath. Sweat dripped from his forehead and his usually voluminous hair was sticking to his face. His eyes were closed momentarily until he finally straightened up and unlocked the door. He slipped inside quietly and walked straight to the bathroom. He took a quick shower, giving his heart time to slow down before he had to leave.
He did this almost every morning. He would wake up bright and early and go for a run. It cleared his head and got him ready for the day ahead of him. If he had a bad night, a run in the morning always seemed to do the trick in making him feel better. It calmed him down, gave him something to work for. He was always trying to get faster, despite his short legs. That was just another reason he had for wanting it. Kids had plenty of reasons to make fun of him. He was short, he had a funny accent which made it difficult for him to say certain words, he was rather awkward in certain situations and he wasn't the smartest kid in school. He wasn't dumb, but he wasn't an all A student either. But either way, it gave him something.
After about ten minutes, he was dressed and drying his hair. He walked out of the bathroom with the towel still in his hand and knocked on a door in the hallway. "Cat! Cat, vake up!" he called. "I'm leafing for school. You better get up soon so you von't be late for zhe bus. I von't be able to drive you vhen I'm at school and mom's too busy. Let her sleep. So you better get your..."
He was cut off when the door open and a young, tired-looking girl stood in front of him. Her dark hair was a mess and her eyes were halfway closed. "Go," she said.
"Oh, you're up. Good job," Dmitri replied before leaning over and kissing her forehead. "Haf a good day." He patted her head before turning and leaving. He grabbed his backpack as he walked out of the door, shutting and locking it behind him. Time to wait for the bus...

The bus rolled to a stop before the bus stop by Dmitri's home, it's breaks sending a screeching sound through the air. Ever person in the bus lurched forward as the break was set. The two yellow flashing lights switched to red and a large "stop" sign swung out from the side. The doors eased open and the group waited for the few students that got on at the stop.
Juliet was sitting right next to the window, about half way down the bus. Her eyes were fixed on the outside world, waiting once more for it to start moving again before her eyes. A small sigh escaped her lips as she cradled her chin in her hand, a few strands of her hair falling into her face.

Dmitri ran up to the bus as it stopped in front of his house. He jumped up onto the steps and entered. He glanced at the many seats and scanned them, trying to find a seat. He spotted....her. Juliet sitting there. He stopped and stood there in the isle as his eyes fell upon her. The bus lurched forward and he fell forward, almost all the way to the floor. He grabbed hold of the seat next to him to keep his balance. As he was pushing himself up, the person sitting there easily pushed his hand away. With a loud 'thud', Dmitri fell to the dirty floor. He winced as roaring laughter rang out around him. The bus driver looked in the mirror at the sound but, since Dmitri was on the ground, she didn't see him. So she just kept driving.
Dmitri slowly pushed himself back up, shooting the boys next to him a quick glare before trying to take a step forward. Just as he was getting straightened up again, the bus turned and he was sent sprawling sideways. He fell into a seat, almost falling on top of its occupant. He regained his balance shortly and quickly made his way to an empty seat. Why oh why did none of his friends ride the same bus he did?
The one thing that went right....there was an empty seat behind her. Because, of course, Dmitri couldn't pull up the courage to sit with her. He took the seat and glanced over at her. He shrunk down in his seat when he noticed the boys in the front of the bus looking back. This day wasn't starting out particularly well....

Juliet's eyes slowly looked over to Dmitri as he stepped aboard. They followed him to the floor of the bus as he fell twice, the second time all the way down. She cringed slightly for him. It wasn't nice to fall, especially in front of everyone. If he had she knew for sure there would be plenty of laughs at the rich girl that they all knew from elementary. She remembered all of the jests, the pokes, and the harsh words.
She watched him pass her and after he had sat down she turned around in her seat. A weird girl talking to the weird boy was nothing new and soon the staring eyes would be off him and onto her before becoming bored and leaving them both to their conversation.
"Hallo," she said with a faint smile, only a tinge of her German accent showing. It was rare that it ever did these days, unless she was angry or extremely flustered by an emotion. "Zhey don't seem very nice to you...."

Dmitri looked back up to Juliet as she turned to look at him. His heart fluttered at it. He felt his face grow warm and he prayed that he wasn't blushing.
"Ai, yes....but it's alright..." he responded after a moment. He kept his eyes on her as he spoke. "I'm used to eet....I'm rather a prime target for people to poke fun...." He shrugged before his shoulders slumped forward. He gave a slight smile.
"Um....eef you don't mind me asking....vhere...vhere are you from? You sounded like you had some sort of accent for a meenute."

A small grin spread across her lips before she spoke. She crossed her arms upon the top of her seat and she rested her chin upon them.
"Don't get you're hopes up. It's far from where you're from." she stared at him for a moment, thinking before speaking her next word. "Германия... you'll have to forgive me. I'm not zat good with Russian. Only know a few odds and ends."

Dmitri smiled, sitting up a tad straighter. There was someone else in the school who was foreign? Well, she didn't seem foreign. She must have been there for some time. Well, he had moved there about five years prior. He still hadn't lost his accent in the time he had been there. Or rather, he hadn't tried. His sister had lost hers so quickly. He wondered if she was embarrassed by it. She hardly spoke Russian to him anymore. But that was beside the point...
"Ah, really?" he stated rather enthusiastically. "I sought I vas zhe only vone who vasn't from here. I suppose I just never noticed." He smiled and glanced away for a moment before looking back. "So...how long have you lived here?"

I don't like eet all zat much veazer vise. Heh. But good food. My favorite reason to go when we did."
She smiled quaintly as her head fell to the side slightly.
"Vat about you? Russia obviously, but for how long. Your accent is very thick. Most lose et a month after arriving."

Dmitri was slightly surprised by her answer. He hardly noticed her accent and he had been there much longer than she had. Ah well, he really hadn't wanted to loose his accent. He was trying to hold onto his roots, whether it was holding onto his accent or holding onto his language altogether.
"I've been here five years, really," he answered. "My mozher still speaks mainly Russian around zhe house so I guess I still hold onto my accent. Eet kind of...I don't know...is a comfort I guess. Even if eet ees a hassle sometimes."

"Ja, I know vat you mean..... Ahem... Et is just better sometimes... when you are like me... to blend... I blend e lott. Tis vat I do.... Aye... Oh look! School.... Ve better get ready..."
She turned around in her seat and started mutter something in German before switching to her perfect English, with a few minor accent errors she had failed to correct for the sole purpose of her being German bred.

Dmitri looked up at the approach of the school. He didn't want to leave yet. He wouldn't really be alone in school...he had friends. But he didn't want to leave this girl now either. He had admired her from afar in their science class they had together. But this was the first time he had talked to her. It just made him like her more now that he knew she was German.
But there was nothing he could do about it. He grabbed his bag and slung it over his shoulder. As soon as the bus came to a stop, the chatting students got to their feet and began to shuffle towards the door. Dmitri paused, waiting for a gap to open up. He knew they probably wouldn't let him squeeze in anyway.

Juliet smiled and grabbed Dmitri's hand before pulling him into the isle with her. Sure, a few people got hit but she didn't care. It was really the only way to get out of your seat and get to class at a good time. Normally she raced to the exit just to see if she could be the first to get out of the bus. So far she had only done that once.
She pulled him close to her as she squeezed him into the walkway. She laughed slightly as she saw that the front wasn't really moving and she couldn't step anywhere to replace the distance between them.
"Ah well," she muttered slightly with a smile. Soon they would be moving and she wouldn't be jammed up against this guy, not that she minded.
"I have you in a class don't I?"

Dmitri stumbled along with her as she pulled him with her. He struggled to keep his footing and to hold onto his backpack. He felt himself hit against a few other people before they finally came to a halt. He stood, practically holding his breath as he waited for the people to move.
He glanced over at her as she spoke to him again. "Um...yes," he replied, trying not to move. "Third hour science, I sink."
