Here we are. The obligitory introduction thread. New members, feel free to say hi and tell us a bit about yourself. I'll start us off.
I'm Darlana, a 19 year old student and long running fan of Buffy. I've seen all 7 seasons, and read most of the books. I'm a fan of alternate pairings, so no shipper bashing!

Hey there everyone! I'm like the co-owner peson of the guild. You can call me Shiva. I'm 18 years old and live next door to Darlana whee I looove Buffy! I actually didn't start watching it untill it was well into reruns. But i try to convert unbelievers to make up for it everyday! I'm a shameless Spuffy and Buffy/Giles fan. Don't say it's icky! You know Giles is a sexy beast!

Hey, I'm Ryuo. I'm 19, a guy, and watched Buffy from the first season on WB until my crappy cable got rid of the channel just when Angel started. I got to watch the first episode and that was it. Evil cable company. I've seen most of the episodes I missed thanks to FX and UPN for picking up the syndication. There's still an area I missed around the whole Cyborg Demon story arch but ah well. Let's see what else can I say. My favorite character is Spike. That's about it, I guess.

Well, hey, I'm...well my gaia name is Satans Sweetest Angel, and I have some nicknames from that (make them up as you wish) or if you think of it, call me Rae. I'll be 14 within...hmm...18 days.
I first got interested into Buffy, oddly enough, through my dad. I was at Waldenbooks, and I was taking forever to choose a book. My dad was getting impatient, and he suggested a Buffy book.
We didn't really have like cable or anything, until I got really into Buffy-and my parents go into Buffy-and we ended up being able to get WB with a good antennae. We watched the 5th season like that, and soon we were all quite addicted. Then it moved to UPN (the ONE station we couldn't pick up no matter what) which was incredibly depressing. So, we got someone to record the episodes until we got satellite. We watched the re-runs on FX between watching the new ones on UPN, and then we got all the seasons on DVD as they were released. I don't know about my parents, but I have seen every single episode of Buffy. The only episodes I haven't seen twice or more would be in the 6th or 7th season.
My parents started watching Angel in the 5th season of Buffy, and the really liked it. I wasn't particularly interested, but now I've-of course-seen every episode.
I like to consider myself a Buffy expert whee it's really the only thing that's held my interest enough to work on knowing as much as I can about it.

I'm 19, gonna be 20 in december. I'm from Montreal, Canada.
I started watching Buffy when it started airing in french here...which means I was at 1st season when the rest of the world was already in 3rd or 4th lol. I loved it and I was like "why didn't I watch it in english???" lol. Anyway...so I got addicted, and didn't wanna miss even one SECOND of it. But I still haven't seen all season 6 and 7 redface 'cuz I really didn't have time to watch tv anymore when they aired (although I have seen most of season 6, and also season 7 from episode 13 to the end) so now I'm waiting for re-runs. They should be airing season 6 in french in september, but the translation often sucks so it's way better in english.
I love the show first or all because it's funny and I love the fights. But also 'cuz it portrays real life really well when you stop and think about it. It also helped me go though lots of hard stuff...like when I wanted to give up, I would watch an episode and forget all my problems for almost an hour smile ... and then I was like, I wanna see the next one!
And also, the fact that Willow, Tara and Kennedy were there also helped me accept myself when I found out I was gay.

Yo, yo. I'm Amari, just turned 18, big fan of both Buffy and ANgel series. ( seeing both shows seasons and finales. ) I like expanding on thier stories via role-playing and writing. I like the premise of the supernatural, action-packed, comedic, well-written shows. Hope to cya around.

Hello.. I'm Paradoxical (or Para or whatever you want.. ) and I'm 14, almost 15 and will be a sophomore this year. I didn't get into Buffy until they were already playing reruns, and I didn't have much of a interest in it until my cousin came and stayed with my family for Christmas.. She brought the complete first, second, and third season on DVD and got me hooked. 3nodding Ever since, I've seen just about every episode and have quite a few books on it. (as well as soundtracks..) Buffy also helped me get through a lot of stuff since they deal with a lot of real life issues. Umm..my favorite character's Anya and I also like weird pairings. wink

hi im doom and i became a buffy fan when i read one of the books. ive always liked vampire related things but sadly when i discovered buffy the season had ended . i instead wathched reruns and wacthed angel . right know im savung up to by a season and watching reruns to make up for not watching buffy while it was on air. i like all the characters but my favoriteis spike

Hello everyone. I'm Saline, and I've adored Buffy since season 1 first started coming on!
My favorite character is Willow, but for some reason now I'm starting to like Faith. (I have Amari to thank for that).
At first I really didn't like the Angel series when it first started coming on, and only really got into it in the last season. Now I'll sometimes watch the repeats at eleven at night, but not much.
I like reading fanfiction about the characters, and I've only read one of the books. Oz's.

Hey everyone! My Gaian name is Atrum_Lamae which is Latin for Black Witch. Most people just call me Sunny though. I am 13, and I live in Nashville, Tennessee. I started watching Buffy about 1 year ago. I have seen all episodes, scattered around...I watch Buffy on FX. My favorite season was season 6. I have seen nearly all the episodes of Angel. My favorite season of Angel was season 5. And I still don't understand the WB. I mean how could they cancel something after an episode so great as Smile Time came out? Anyways....I have some Buffy/Angel books and I read lots of fanfics. And I plan to buy season 1-5 of Buffy when I have enough money. and season 1-3? or Angel too.

Hi I, Narniakat. I am 32, gonna be 33 next month. I watched Buffy from the first ever airing of the first ever episode. I have season 1-5 of Buffy on DVD, hopefully getting season 6 for my b-day. I have season 1-3 of Angel on DVD. I was devastated when Oz left Willow, because Willow is my favorite!!! But then I was elated when Willow became a witch/lesbian, because I am a witch/lesbian, so it made me love her even more. I hated that Angel listened to Joyce and left Buffy, but I loved Angel the series so much. I loved the fact that Spike fell so deeply for Buffy, but hated that Buffy wouldn't give in and truly love him back. Oh who am I kidding, I love everything about both shows!!!

Hey, I'm Galadriel, I'm 21 and I study law. i live in Bogotá, Colombia, South America, a beautiful country (don´t believe the news eek ). I love Buffy though i've only seen season 1 and 7 complete. I am currently watching the second season and I saw parto of the forth (I think... it's the season right before they go to college and the hight school is destroyed)
i like Willow, Buffy and Xander, but I LOVE Faith and Anya. Cordy and Wsley make me laugh...
I also like Xena, Warrior Princess biggrin

Well, the "Starting-with-a-joke" tactic got me nowhere. Well, I guess there's the intro. I'm Joel, 18, male, and I've watched and enjoyed Buffy through its seven seasons. I also enjoyed Angel's 5 seasons. My favorite episode is "The Wish". Ummmm, what else. Willow is my favorite character. I hope to see you all around here, with discussions and such.
