The Arcana

This section will serve as the basic template of those who wish to become one of the arcana.

For one, I would like it if the personalities of those who are one of the arcana to fit with the card they chose to represent. As such, I am providing the basic personality traits(although some are not so basic) of these individuals. Further personality traits can be added when you write your profile.

Secondly, these people have powers, but don't go too overboard with their abilities.

The ones crossed out have already been taken and feel free to reserve.

0. The Fool - A highly foolhardy individual, willing to take a lot of risks with little regard of the consequences

I. The Magician - A practical and creative individual, they are very self confident and objective as well as intelligent.

II. The High Priestess- This individual is cryptic, seeming to know more then they initially let on. They are very wise as well.

III. The Empress - This individual is motherly to others, but also desires much and seeks satisfaction for these desires.

IV. The Emperor - A stubborn but fatherly individual, they seek order amidst chaos. They try to control their surroundings.

V. The Heirophant - A mature and knowledgeable individual. This individual is experienced beyond their years and powerful, but believes in a very strict status quo, rarely bending the rules if ever.

VI. The Lovers(okay, I will allow homosexual couples for this one, and they don't necessarily need to be in love either)- These two are very passionate individuals. They focus on their individual values, but alone they can never be as powerful as they are together.

VII. The Chariot - A very prideful and willful person, this individual seeks to conquer others, proving themselves stronger.

VIII. Justice - A voice of logic and reason, this individual is clever, intelligent, but nonetheless cold to others. They are also impartial and the most objective of the arcana.

IX. The Hermit - A loner by nature, this individual is very understanding and is often thought of as a guide and is philosophical as well

X. The Wheel of Fortune - This individual is ever changing, their personality never remains the same for long. The only constant is their extremely good luck.

XI. Strength- A confident person, they are kind and patient. They are a very stable person, and can get through even the toughest of times with little reaction to the horrors they see.

XII. The Hanged Man - A passive individual, they are accepting of everything that goes on around them. They are very non-active, rarely becoming the actor in lifes plays. For all this they are at inner peace with themselves and are easily able to understand other points of view.

XIII. Death - This person has suffered much and has lost many things. Their life seems a never ending cycle of sadness. This person is cold towards others, and never seems to see the brightness of life, or the possibility of regeneration at the end of the tragedies.

XIV. Temperance - A secure individual, they are capable of bringing together people easily. Those around them seem often to be affected by this persons harmony with others, and being with this person can heal all but the worst of mental woes.

XV. The Devil - An ignorant and materialistic person, this individual thinks only for themselves, rarely caring for others. They are egotistical, follow their base instincts, and this person is quite willing to manipulate others, something they are very good at.

XVI. The Tower- This person has a chaotic personality, which often disrupts others around them. Somehow this person seems to bring downfall to those near them, leading to others distrusting this person. Sadly, few listen to this individual, who always seems to realize the truth swiftly before most others.

XVII. The Star - A calm and generous person, they always have hope in their eyes and can think positive in even the worst of situations. They are also very cheerful and can inspire others around them.

XVIII. The Moon - This person is very imaginative, viewing everything in a fanciful way. Their ideas are often unrealistic. This person is also very fearful and worrisome, and becomes easily anxious.

XIX. The Sun - This person is quite naïve and innocent. They always wears a smile on their face and finds joy in times when joy is in short supply. This person is very non-judgmental in nature and shines even in the darkest nights.

XX. Judgment - This person has made many mistakes in their past, but has accepted his/her mistakes. They seek forgiveness from those who they have wronged. They are very decisive and forgiving.

XXI. The World - This person is very successful and content with the world in a whole. Never seeming to take a hit from the hardships of the world, this person seems to never fail at what they desire to do. They however, do not desire much and often avoid conflict all together, taking a neutral role.

This is what Happened in my Life : He was born to a poor family and grew up learning to care for himself. He would sneak into a nobleman's house periodically and read from his library. This way he became a very wise and knowing individual. Having long since left his family once the arcana begun to be hunted, he remains currently on the run formulating a plan to become accepted by society.

This is what Happened in my Life : Ella is born into a very militaristic family. Because she was an Arcana, she was isolated from her other siblings and taught only to fight and kill my her battle-loving Father. She had been in many so battles and seen/caused many deaths that now she feels nothing when it comes to the topic of war. Ella was able to escape her cage when she turned 13 and has been running ever since, in search of people like herself.

This is what Happened in my Life : Growing up I tried to make money by preforming on streets and such. With my gift of my voice it worked out well for me. One day I met a child named Mai and then immediately felt the need to protect her. Being an Arcana made it easier to do so.

Other Personality Traits Include: Multiple personalities, each different from the other. Troa is the main personality, nd is usually calm and humble.
This is what Happened in my Life : Troa was an unwanted child, born through his father's affair. Troa stayed with his father, and was target for his father's anger. Troa was left with countless scars on his body, and his mind adapted different personalities to cope. He was able to run one night, when his father fell asleep drunk. He was found, and adopted into a young woman's family. His adopted grandfather taught him sword play while he was there. One night, his father found him, and went on a rampage. Troa was forced back as his father killed his family. In his rage, he had killed his father, but also his adopted mother. He lived alone since wandering, and slowly learning of his other sides.

This is what Happened in my Life : (She was adopted as a baby to a lord and lady and lived a comfortable life. When she was 18, a lord from another land became interested in her and pursued her. He was cruel and merciless, and she knew she had to somehow get rid of him to stay safe. One day, he cornered her in a market place, and she prayed for something to save her. All at once, her powers came to her, and she accidently severed the line connecting the both of them. Afterwards, he didn't recognize her, but she didn't care anymore, and ran home. After telling her mother what she was, her mom helped her escape, because her father would kill her if he found out. She's been on the run for a year now, and has sworn to herself to find all the others like her.)

This is what Happened in my Life: Lucas had started travel around after he was six as his parents became fear him because of an accident or you could say his powers awaking. He shot a small ball of fire from his hand as he mumbled something which his parents could not understand. He seemed know some unknown language from his birth, he himself doesn't know why, but out of curiosity he tried it. After he was thrown out and disowned he has seen a lot of world and developed many spells, most by accident of wrong combination of earlier spells he knew, which he had written into a book as he is quite absent-minded so he easily forgets such things, even his own name some times. He is fairly known person as many fear him because of his powers but they do not have courage to stand up against him. He is usually called by name of Stormcrow or something similar.

After Lucas disappeared from the royal prison he was transported to another realm. To realm of light to be exact by Resa, the deity of light. The reason why this was done is because Nyx had appeared in the realm of mortals so Resa gave Lucas a crystal ball known as 'the Codex of Ultimate Knowledge', which as the name says holds all of the knowledge as it is created by the librarian god who records whole history of the world but it will take time to bend this crystal ball to its wielders will, along with boost to his magical powers, new staff and clothes. After that he was transported back to realm of mortals and to be more exact back to the capital.

This is what Happened in my Life :A childhood friend of Louis's, he was always a gambler, taking chances and never really failing. he always had really good luck. He later took over the theives guild of the capital city after the other grey fox retired. He now wastes his time leading the guild, waiting for something good to happen.

(Explanation of Powers: Okay, here we go. Pretty much each card in his deck of playing cards represents different spells. 2-10 of each suit is a different range of power of a type of spell, hearts being fire based, clubs being water based, diamonds being air based, and spades being earth based. Other Specifics goes as follows.

Jack of Hearts: Lights his daggers on fire.
Queen of Hearts: Pyrokinetic(unable to create the fire)
King of Hearts: Engulfs his body in flame, allowing him to throw the fire as well as use it for protection
Jack of Clubs: Ice daggers.
Queen of Clubs: Allows him to freeze the area surrounding him
King of Clubs: Able to create and manipulate water
Jack of Spades: A great increase in strength.
Queen of Spades: A even further increase in strength.
King of Spades: Changes his chemical composistion, making his skin as hard as diamond.
Jack of Diamonds: A great increase in speed.
Queen of Diamonds: An even further increase in speed.
King of Diamonds: Able to manipulate and concentrate the wind into bladed edges which he can manipulate.

If he draws an Ace, it activates what he calls "Fates Game" which negates the powers of other arcanas and creates a deck of cards on the ground, one for each player. It then proceeds as if both players have the same ability as he did originally. It only ends if both agree to stop fighting,if one is too injured to fight, or if another ace is drawn.

If he draws a black joker it temporarily immobilizes him for about a minute. If he draws the red joker, it temporarily immobilizes his opponent for about 30 seconds.)

This is what Happened in my Life : She was born and raised with two completely normal siblings. There isn't much to mention about her childhood, because it was particularly normal. When she reached her teens, however, her power started to show itself. It wasn't that much of a difference, aside from the fact that she turned away from several people because of what she saw in them. Her ability made her judge people in a more shallow fashion than she had before then. There were several occasions when he power led her in the wrong direction and she mad mistakes that some simply wouldn't forgive. Looking for a new start and possibly a way to redeem herself, she left home.

This is who I am: (Sadistic. He is a sinister man with an evil minstate. He not only lust after his younger sister,but also finds death and war so beautiful. Jui finds beauty in evil. He is also known to lick his sword clean of blood after taking one's life.
Sarcastic. His mouth is known to...well I wouldn't say get him in trouble because he fears nothing,but it can be extremely offensive. The only remorse he feels to a person is his sister and that is only if she is crying over something that has nothing to do with him. He will hit you in the hardest place personal or not this man know's how to tear you down.
Seductive. Jui is known for seducing his enemies. He is able to put anyone who thinks he's the least bit attractive in a trans state with his sexual lullabys and whispers of sweet nothings. Women have been known to melt with one breath from him and men of homo-sexual or bi-sexual orientation have thrown themselves at this man. He is a true tease.
Intellegent. Don't get fooled. His evil and insane nature hasn't taken him away from his intellect. He is a highly intellegent man. He is slick and caniving and know's how to make a plan.)
My Life Went Like This: (Jui was the eldest of him and his youngest sister,Ai. As a child when Ai was born he thought her beautiful. He protected her and hid her from the world. He would be damned if another man took her from him. In his eyes his sister...was not only his sister but his woman.
One day at the age of twelve his father and mother wanted to take Ai to a small playground so she could make friends of her own. Jui refused and fought them off. When the persisted Jui went insane and killed them.He was covered in their blood and all he could do was laugh. Ai was not only devistated,but grew in fear of her brother.
His sister had left him after one cruel night when he tried to rape her. She changed her life to stay away from him,but he knows how to get what he wants)

This is who I am: A very straightforward individual with an incredible militaristic mind. He is an excellent tactician. He is also a rather friendly and kind individual but knows when to be serious.
My Life Went Like This: born into a noble family, he was raised to be a general. Put into the Manario army at the age of 16, he quickly learned the ropes and was in battle by the age of 17. Now at the rank of a captain, he leads a small group of men. This group is a specialized unit, trained by the military not as warriors on the battle front, but as hunters of the arcana.

Other Personality Traits Include: Wise and witty, though has a twisted side to it. Sadistic, and doesn't value much of anything. Nyx is just one of those people you meet, who just want to watch the world burn.
This is what Happened in my Life : Nyx is a fallen god, who vowed vengeance against his kin. He had come close to destroying the world, and in return, was sealed away. The planet its self had formed the arcana as a precaution. Those who have it could destroy him, if ever the time would come.
I Have Powers Others Don’t: He has learned to control the elements, and all known martial arts. He prefers to use fire and wind, or a mix of light and dar that he dubbed the chaos element. He can pass on some of his powers to humans, for a price. Shape shifting as well.
Do I Have Weapons? : He has developed the power to project any hand to hand weapon he knows of, they are weaker then the originals however.
