Padding through the cool grass, Leia sat down near a trickling stream, watching the fish dart to and fro. A smile was ever present on her muzzle as she gently tapped a paw to the water, sending the fish scattering. It had been a while since she had been apart from her family, and while she enjoyed their company, she also found herself enjoying the quite and peaceful bliss of today. Laying down on her stomach, she dangled her front paws in the water. "Mmmm, feels so good!" she giggled, swirling a claw in circles and watching the ripples made from the movement.

 Sudhir lazily stumbled through a field of grass, feeling evening's spell from the night before still wearing off. He wanted to sleep the day away, as usual, but the pesky mice didn't want to leave him alone. They ran around him, trying to get into their home. He told them they'd be able to go as soon as he got a few good hours, but they didn't want to compromise.
Sniffing the air as a cool breeze blew by, he caught the scent of another.

Leia was just about gone to the world, her eyes fluttering closed as she rolled over onto her back. If it wasn't for the cold drops of water landing on her nose as she drew her paws from the stream, she might have passed out completely. Yawning, she slowly blinked open her eyes, noticing someone in the distance. Smiling, she bounded to her paws. "Hello there!"

His ears perked up at the sound of a female voice. Sudhir gave a cocky smile and picked up the pace, now at a normal trot he saw the lioness to be one he hadn't seen before. Really, he knew very few lionesses, but he had seen many a time during his travels of the Isle; enough to know when he laid eyes on a new face. "Ah Salutations love," Sudhir stopped a few paces short of her and bowed his head in a gentlemen way. "I dare say, I've never seen such a bright lioness as yourself, who might you be? Forgive my manners, I'm Sudhir."

Leia smiled, returning his bow with a soft one of her own. "My name is Leia! Its nice to meet you Sudhir!" she grinned, taking a few steps towards him, blushing at his complement... if it was one. "Really? I'm bright? Thank you!" smile widens, her eyes and face absolutely sparkling with excitement and meeting someone new. "So do you live around here?"

"It's wonderful to make your acquaintance Leia!" He took a step back as she came toward him. There was something calming about her he'd never seen before and indeed she did glow with an unnatural, but beautiful light. Sudhir smiled as she blushed, "Yes you are and quite wonderfully too," he could excitement in her eyes and practically felt it radiating from her, "I don't actually. My cave is on the other side of the Isle, but I enjoy exploring the island. It has some lush lands around here, you should see the flora and fauna it produces. Quite excellent and some are just crazy." He paused a moment to to take a breath before asking, "Have you seen the part where the wild roses grow? They're almost ten times the normal size of one, and the odd thing is, some of them glow with a gold light!"

After calming down from another wild blush and line of complements, Leia's eyes widened in amazement as he seemed to go on and on, but she didn't mind because she tended to do it herself. But when he mentioned wild roses that glowed a beautiful golden color, her jaw nearly dropped to the floor. "NO! I haven't even heard of these roses. Oh I must see them!" she said excitedly, kneading her paws into the ground so rapidly she almost bounced in place. "They sound so beautiful...." Her eyes seemed to sparkle more... then she paused, tilting her head slightly but her smile never fading. "Would you show them to me?"

He chuckled, "Of course I'll show you! They're such a site to see! I don't think anyone else has seen them before. The path they reside on no one's walked on for years, and it's sort of a challenge but it's well worth it," Sudhir found himself nearly caught up in the excitement with her. "Are you sure you'd be up to winding your way through a maze of jungle-like flora?" Sudhir lightly taunted, but for the most part he was serious. He didn't want her hurt; it was rough terrain to travel through.

Leia grinned, puffing her chest out and brushing her paw against the collar around her neck. "Well of course I am! Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean I'm not up to some rough stuff!" she giggled, bounding in place. She couldn't believe she was actually going to see gold glowing roses! She would have to remember to tell her family about this.

Sudhir chuckled good naturedly, "I'd never assume a lady wouldn't be up to it, I just don't want anyone hurt is all," he said seriously. After a few seconds of silence, he puffed up his chest and grinned, then in a low, rough voice announced, "Then onwards we go!" he walked past her a few feet, but stopped to wait for her to walk beside him.
Sudhir found her excitement to be refreshing and he was looking forward to the challenging trails they would wind in and out of. He only hoped she wouldn't get nicked by the thorns, which reminded him, "You have to be careful of the vines. They have some nasty thorns on them that wouldn't mind cutting into the flesh. Sometimes I believe the roses have a mind of their own."

Leia grinned as she bounded after him, slowing to a stop beside him. "I'm quite ready! And fear not. I will be wary of the roses." she smiled, shutting her eyes lightly as she tilted her head and looked at him. "Well? Lets get going slow poke!" she laughed as she gently battered him with her fore paws before bounding a few paces ahead of him, stopping to turn around and wait for him.

Sudhir grolwed playfully and bounded after her, "Slow poke? I don't think so, you're the slow poke." He went in a circle around her, caught the end of her tail and then batted at it, before taking off a fast jog. Sudhir tried to laugh and run at the same time, but it only cause him to run out of breath, and he had to slow to a trot knowing she was probably right behind him. Chuckling, Sudhir shook his green mane and looked over his shoulder at her and couldn't help but to be caught up in her blue eyes. They were the bluest he'd seen and beautiful, but he wouldn't say anything.
Sudhir tried not to get too attached to any one lioness. He was the sort to have a fling, then leave. Sure he felt bad if he left a lioness with cubs on her own, but the guilt passed, it usually did after a while.

Leia, who was just as care free and jolly as the rest of her family, was still ecstatic to be making a new friend. She couldn't wait to introduce him to her sister! Giggling as he bounded around her and battered at her tail, she took off and a bounding pace as she caught up to him, having rather mastered laughing and running at the same time since that seemed to be what she always did as a cub. "Ya know...." she began, slowing down to trot beside him as she looked around." I just met you, but You seem like a lot of fun!" she said, grinning. "I feel like I'm a cub again! Its just so... so... So Brilliant!" she flapped her wings and jumped slightly in place.

Sudhir grinned and chuckled at her words and actions, "Thank you, you're quite a fun gal yourself," he turned his head to look at her and smiled genuinely, "There's something about you I just can't place though, you're so . . . joyful to be around," he then glanced up to see they were headed in the right direction and tucked his wings in tighter to his back. His feathers always seemed to get caught in the low hanging vines, or on branches that raked his back like claws. Even if no marks were left, it wasn't the sweetest of sensations to be felt. It was quite eerie actually. "So tell me about yourself, do you live around this area, or er . . . back in that area?" Sudhir asked with pure curiosity as the scenery began to dim and thicken. He then lightly bumped the end of his tail into her side on purpose and grinned in a teasing manner, all the while looking straight ahead and feigning innocent.

Smiling, Leia tucked her wings back as well, simply because he had done so and after all, he was her guide on this journey. "Thank you! I always feel so happy, so I see no reason why I shouldn't show it!" she grinned and pawed lightly at his tail as he teased her, giggling softly and blushing. "Yes I live back in that area with my sister, and my parents. And recently I just met my long lost grandpa as well!" she beamed a bright flashy smile as her blue eyes swept over the surroundings.
