Contest Number 1-
Objectives:
Create a short story behind the Wed to Darkness item. Incorporate the colors and theme into your story to make it the best it can possibly be.

Rules:
1. You must create a short story which is at least 500 words minimum. It may be longer if you wish. There is no limit after 500 words.
2. Please type the story and send it to me (Wayward Fearie) via PM.
3. Please label the PM Wed to Darkness Contest
4. You may enter twice.
5. This contest will run until March 1st.
6. A winner will be picked by the week of March 7th
7. Do not steal ideas of others.
8. I will be posting entries as I receive them. If you do not wish your entry to be posted please specify in the PM
9. Have fun with this. Try to be as grammatically correct as possible.
10. No obscene sexual contest is allowed in these stories so please be careful.
11. If you have a picture that helps your story send it with your story.
12. Entering this contest does not increase your chances of winning both wed to darkness because you can only win one of them.
13. This is not a hit and run contest.

Contest Number 2-
Objective: For those of you with writers block, you may draw a picture.

Rules:
1. The picture must be drawn well, so if drawing isn't your forte then you might want to stick to the short story.
2. Don't just draw the item, tell what the Wed to Darkness is; it's story, it's powers, ect.
3. It may be hand drawn on or off the computer. If you must scan it make sure I am able to see it.
4. Make sure that when you save the picture it's large enough for me to see.
5. PM me the links or the pictures them selves.
6. Do not delete your picture until the end of the contest and the winner has been picked.
7. I will post the pictures as they are sent to me. If you do not wish for yours to be posted make sure that you let me know through PM.
8. Entering this contest aswell as the short story contest does not increase your chances because you may only win once.
9. This contest runs until March 1st.
10. A winner will be picked by the week of March 7th.
11. You may only enter the art contest once.
12. This is not a hit and run contest.

FAQs:

Q: Can I enter both contests?
A: Yes you can! You may enter the short story contest twice and the art contests once. So you may enter a total of 3 times.

Q: How many Wed to Darkness are being given away?
A: I have 2 that I will be giving away. One for the short story contest and one for the art contest

Q: Can I win both of the prizes?
A: No. If you win one you may not win another. This makes it fair for everyone.

Q: What if there are only a few entries?
A: I'm hoping that there won't be only a few entries. In that case I will prolong the contests for a month or so. So If you don't want them to drag out tell your friends!

Q: I've already submitted my entry. Can I take it out and resubmit?
A: No. You should make sure that everything is how you want it before submitting it.

Q: My entry(s) aren't at least 500 words or more. Is that okay?
A: If it is close to 500 it is fine. Please know that the longer it is the more details and the better the story is likely to be. However, once you submit it you may not resubmit to make it longer. If it is far too short that's too bad.
