Tetsu Hageshii, one of the teachers of the Masterball Academy was lounging in his room's window-sil. His onix was off in the distance, burrowing around for food, and he could feel the faint rumbling through the wooden framework. His eyes were open only faintly, and they looked towards the morning clouds as the rolled in. It was quiet right now, but soon the students would be out and about, and a few overzealous seniors would probably decide to jump at each other's throats and have a battle...
Now, Mr. Hageshii didn't mind the loud noise, nor did he dislike the quiet. In fact, it was only the distant, slightly audible noises which bothered him. Especially those of a single conversation in an otherwise silent and solemn room of people. Just a little pet peeve of the thirty something year old...
The breeze wafted across the dorm building, blowing in a cool wind to fight off some of the sun's heat, slowly building up and making little visible waves off in the distance. Tetsu shut his eyes and took in the cool air, breathing it deeply and smelling the new life, as well as the musky smell of old leaves finally rotting away into compost.

· ζ ί ś ŧ έ η · ŧ σ ŧ ħ έ · Μ μ ş ί ς · Ŧ έ α ς ħ ε ŗ ! · In her dorm, a young teacher was still asleep as the morning brightened, though at first you couldn't tell this. Several Pokemon were on the bed, sprawled out over the thin shape under the covers. A Mareep was perched upon her head, Charizard's neck and head were over her feet, though the rest was on the floor thankfully, Arcanine was much the same way though his head was resting by the young woman's pillow, a Ninetails was stretched out by the wall, and Mightyena and Absol were covering the rest of her back, and Houdoom was curled up on the rest of her legs that weren't covered by the Charizard. This was the usual sleeping positions for Ms Raylynn Fawna and her Pokemon. It was a good thing her bed was quite large and sturdy, otherwise she would be sleeping on a broken bed. As she finally stir, the Pokemon did as well, get up and off to let their trainer get up. Well, except for the little Mareep. It still dozed, and tumbled off with a surprised squeak as Raylynn gently poked it off. Yawning, the twenty seven year old got up to get dressed, brushing her hair quickly and then returning her Pokemon to their balls so she actually had room in her dorm room.Mareep stayed out, and she emerged from her dorm room, only to retreat back in. There is no classes today.. They start tomorrow. She remembered to herself, so flung open her window and hopped up onto the ledge, perching on the edge with her legs dangling down. It was a beautiful day, so why not have a little fun. "Come on out, Charizard, it is just to lovely to sit around!" She said, and let out her Charizard. He swooped up from nearly hitting the ground, she made a mental note to warn him next time, and flew bck up to Raylynn to let her hop on. As soon as she was on, he took off into the air, the blond clinging to his back with a gentle smile. She would let the other's out as well after a quick loop around the campus.

☭ Well, it sure feels good to be back here ☭Andrew let out a content sigh as he sat in his bed, stretching his arms above his head, before scanning his room. He had to wake up earlier to unpack and set his things on the wardrobe and shelves. It's not that he didn't enjoy tidying the room or anything, but having to wake up 2 hours earlier wasn't one of his favorite things to do. Well, at least, now that his things were already in places where he could easily find each, he had time to explore the campus and see if anything had changed, he doubted it but checking never hurt anyone right? Standing up, and almost stepping on the Ditto that was sprawled near his bed, he picked out his clothes for the day before taking a quick shower. A few minutes later, the 28-year old was ready to leave his room, if only he could find a way to wake up the pink blob on his floor. Poking the sleeping Ditto, which looked more like a pink goo splattered on his carpet, the man tried to wake the pokemon. "Come on, Ditto, wake up.." The teacher muttered and just finally got a response from the creature, who poked an eye open and looked up at Andrew. Sure, the male had no need to hurry or anything, classes started the next day, but he probably wanted to do other stuff. Picking up the pink pokemon, Andrew the exited the room, his hair still a bit wet, and then slowly made his way out the building. He had seen a huge shadow from his window, a bit earlier that morning, and guessed that some other teachers must be up already. Taking a deep breath once he had left the building, Andrew coughed quietly before sighing. It would take a bit for him to get used to be being back at school, the air was a bit more moist because they were close to the harbor and that tended to make his health falter slightly. 'Ah well, it's not like it's something really serious..' -Andrew Lowell ௫ ((If anyone has trouble reading with the colors I picked just say it and I'll change them))

The campus was finally coming to life. There were students and teachers walking about, taking in the gifts of the day in the form of light and warmth, and food... It was almost enough to make one wish they could paint a scene of this spring time, but that was another teacher's job. "I guess It's time to get moving now..." Tetsu muttered to himself, letting one leg droop out the side of the building. Soon he was falling to the earth below, both legs extended, and ready to brace against the impact of the ground. His knees nearly buckled, such was the effect of being just past his prime, and with a grunt, he pushed himself back up-right. "Man... Feels like I've let myself go..." He murmured again, cracking his neck and glancing over to the sound of his onix burrowing through the earth towards him.
The pokemon's stone crest stuck up through the grassy ground, much like a shark, but Tetsu knew that there were pipes and wires underground. He'd have to prevent the pokemon from burrowing any closer... That all-too-familiar beam of red light shot towards the pokemon's horn, and like that, the great stone serpent was contained in it's ball.
Finally his voice broke his own silence once more, as he turned off and looked towards a somewhat-distant building. He seemed uninterested in what he had to say, but it was all routine stuff to him. "I suppose... I should get something to eat now, maybe meet a student or two." It was almost like he regretted having to start up the same teaching routine again, but such was the curse of choosing stability over glory... Maybe one day, he'd get back out into the world and become some kind of master, but for now, he'd have to settle for this. With that thought in mind however, he started his walk towards the cafeteria.

~ Liliana Rosenberg ~ What is my occupation...?: Advanced Contest Teacher/Nature Club Supervisor What on Earth am I doing...?: Sipping Tea, wandering around How am I feeling...?: Relaxed, fine
It is the supreme art of the teacher... Liliana sat at her table within her dorm room, drinking some herbal green tea that she had made earlier this morning. She was quite the 'early-bird', so the teacher was used to waking up around 5 o'clock AM. Her Persian, Myao, laid cuddled asleep underneath her chair, warming her master's feet, and her Kirlia, Saria, meditated silently with her eyes firmly closed on a chair next to Liliana. All of her Pokemon had already eaten breakfast along with herself included, and her Murkrow, Maelstrom, had gone right back to sleep, being the nocturnal old crow she was. Persians were also naturally nocturnal, but Myao often fought the instinct because she always wanted herself to be awake whenever her master was. Flare, Liliana's Rapidash, was a bit too big and fiery to stay within her master's tiny dorm room, and her Dragonair (Kairyu) was also rather large to be contained within a small room. Veyja the Flaaffy had already accidentally absorbed the electricity in the dormitory building by accident, so she had to stay in her Poke Ball while she was inside the establishment. Marumi the Swampert disliked the cramped indoors, and would rather stay in his Poke Ball than be in his master's dormitory. Liliana did not mind their preferences, though, and obliged to their simple requests. Anyways, she finished her tea and placed the cup in the sink, to be washed later when she returned to her room. Saria's one eye opened after hearing her master rise, but she quickly closed it when Liliana came back. She grabbed a Poke Ball and returned Myao to it so she could get some rest during the day, and the Kirlia stood, ending her mediation, and glanced at her master with eyes open. She could sense that her master was ready to leave, and so she hopped on her head. Even though she was an average-sized Kirlia, Saria did not weigh much and her feet on Liliana's head felt like two feathers. The teacher smiled and gathered her Poke Balls (with her Pokemon in them) along with a few other necessities and placed them in a knapsack, carrying it and strolling out the door into the hallway. She exited the building and decided to let her Flaaffy out for some fun, too. Gently tossing the respective Poke Ball into the air, Veyja popped out and greeted her owner with a cute and happy "Flaaaaa-fee!" Liliana smiled and petted Veyja and let Saria tap down on the grass, and petted her as well. She loved bonding with her Pokemon each day, and since the school weeks were going to be busier, she used the last days of her vacation to hang out with them as much as possible....to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.

☭ Well, it sure feels good to be back here ☭The 28-year old teacher stood near the building's front door, taking several deep breaths, and still coughing occasionally, as he tried to grow more accustomed to the new enviroment. After a few minutes, comfortable enough with the change, Andrew was about to leave to take a small stroll around school before he just faintly heard the earth shift, turning and seeing a stone crest protruding from the ground before disappearing with a small beam of light. Normally, he would have checked who the pokemon belonged to, maybe take the chance to try and start a conversation with someone, but, not only was he still feeling a little dazed, he guessed whoever had returned the pokemon to its pokeball was probably leaving. Pushing himself away from the wall, Andrew looked down as the pink pokemon on his arms squirmed and then climbed up to his shoulder, still wearing its happy smile despite being more asleep than awake. Starting to walk away, he then paused and half-turned back as he heard a pokemon cry, noticing a happy Flaaffy that was soon joined by a fellow teacher, Liliana, and her Kirlia. Liliana was perhaps one of the calmer teachers, at least considering the attitude others held at times. Smiling lightly to himself as he noticed the other teacher possibly just hanging around with her pokemon, the man decided that if he was bound to see and greet his co-workers then he might aswell greet her now. He'd have no manners if he refused to greet others and ignored them instead, right? Breaking out of his train of thought, the teacher glanced towards the pokemon on his shoulder, making sure the Ditto was still awake, before slowly making his way over to Liliana. The last thing he wanted was to startle her pokemon or something, considering Kirlias are said to be really sensible and lightly protective of their trainers. "Good morning, Miss Liliana." Andrew said with a quiet tone, lightly pushing some of his platinum blonde, more accurately white, hair away from his eyes and glasses. -Andrew Lowell ௫

~ Liliana Rosenberg ~ What is my occupation...?: Advanced Contest Teacher/Nature Club Supervisor What on Earth am I doing...?: Speaking with Mr. Andrew How am I feeling...?: Neutral, but a little confident
It is the supreme art of the teacher... Liliana turned her head when she heart light footsteps in the grass, and softly smiled as she saw that the sounds belonged to another fellow teacher. He was a pale, silver-haired man with uncommon yellow eyes, and she tried to recall his first name, at the very least. The woman was new to this area, so most people here she did not know upon arriving, and looked at the staff list in an attempt to memorize their names before meeting them. Meanwhile, Veyja stared up at the pink blob on his shoulder, and she almost had a hard time figuring out if it was alive or not. It just seemed a bit drowsy, apparently. The little fluffy sheep had a strange and nearly irresistible urge to electrocute it awake, but she knew that would upset both this man and her master. Maybe the Ditto, if it was awake enough to believe it had been attacked. She refrained from doing so, and instead rolled over on the cool grass. Saria stood by her owner's side loyally and watched the man with slight curiosity. He looked physically weak, but he seemed to be as sharp as a tack, which was probably what made up for his physical health. Liliana finally remembered his name and she stood straight up, politely looking him in the eyes. "Good morning to you, Mister Andrew. How are you so far today?" Liliana returned the greeting and questioned him in a quiet voice, almost silent enough to be a whisper, but she spoke up a little bit whenever she spoke to someone else....to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.

☭ Well, it sure feels good to be back here ☭The male teacher returned the small, gentle, smile that had been offered to him as the woman took notice of him, giving her enough time to either recall his name or ask for it. There were always a couple new teachers, and Andrew usually checked the information the employee list had to offer before coming to the campus, and his memory was always quick enough to associate faces to names. Liliana's appearance had an 'earthy' vibe to it, she had brown hair and gentle green eyes, so he had no trouble remembering her as the one incharge of the Nature Club and soon afterwards the Advanced Contest class. It was a bit appealing to him, being a coordinator on his earlier years. During the short wait, the teacher took notice of the Flaaffy's almost insistant stare, following it to the blob-like pokemon on his shoulder. Almost chuckling as the electric sheep suddenly decided to instead roll around on the grass, he removed the Ditto from his shoulder and set him down on the ground, waking the pink pokemon a little more. 'Well, at least Ditto might get a chance to interact with a pokemon without having to bother them first.' "I've been fine, trying to get used to the new region." He replied with the same quiet tone that seemed almost characteristic of him, but that's usually what happens when one's only used to speaking so much and then comes to a place where talking to others is a more than daily thing. "How about you, Miss Liliana, have you enjoyed your time here on campus, so far?" Some people arrived a few days before classes, most just one or two days before, and few others on the same day classes started, and he couldn't be sure of how long Liliana had been on the school. He also tried not to sound pushy, or too casual/familiar, even though the Kirlia was just staring at him curiously, he didn't want to make the pokemon or woman uncomfortable. -Andrew Lowell ௫

It is the supreme art of the teacher... Liliana observed him silently, but tried to be subtle about it. He had the purest and most formal appearance and speech, in her opinion, and nearly chuckled at the fact that she was a tad bit taller than him. True, standing at 6', 3" was a bit unusual for a woman's height, but some people did manage to stand taller. She answered him in a slightly more audible voice, "Good, good! It is hard to become accustomed to a new place, but it is so wonderful once the homey feeling finally kicks in..." Although she was used to this region, this island was new knowledge for her; she didn't even know it had existed before the applications for staff for a school there were being handed out to eligible people like her. "Mm, yes, thank you; this is a fine campus indeed, and I cannot wait to start teaching." The tone of her voice seemed warm and inviting, like the delectable smell of dinner roasting on the flames of a fireplace or grill. Such was her motherly charm; she tried to make everyone around her feel welcome and content while also trying to rid them of their sorrow and any other troubles they have. Anyways, Veyja finally bounced off from practically washing herself in the dew from the grass, and then stared at the pinkish blob before her. She laid low to the ground, as if trying to hunt it inconspicuously, yet she merely reached her paw out and poked the thing, but backed up immediately, afraid that the thing might assault her. The feeling of the Pokemon's skin, though, was strange and interesting to the Flaaffy. She approached it again and poked it without being so cautious, and smiled happily. She continued prodding it, loving the gelatinous touch to the Ditto, not caring at the moment if it was a living thing or not. Saria sat with her legs criss-crossed and pretended to meditate, but in reality, she was still eavesdropping on their conversation and guarding her master....to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.

A good teacher is like a candle - it consumes itself to light the way for others. ☭ Well, it sure feels good to be back here ☭Andrew gave a small nod in agreement to the first comment, not minding that Liliana seemed to take a small moment to study him. It was a natural reaction, he supposed, meeting someone knew often had that effect and the teacher had to admit that his appearance probably didn't help much. He stood at a little less than 6'2", and his overall frail appearance just stood out more because of his oddly colored hair and eyes. The man was used to standing out a little in the crowds, but at least it seemed as though the female he was speaking with was comfortable enough around him, judging by her change in tone. "I've been to the school before, 2 times to be precise, but the air here is much too different from the one back home." Fuchsia City was also close to what one could call the ocean, but he guessed the moisture and other salts in the air were hardly noticeable in a city when compared to the pure air here on the Academy. There was something that told her that Liliana had a similar feeling, though not the exact same as his, but he pushed the thought aside when she spoke again. "Most students are willing to learn, and you seem to have a passion for teaching, Miss Liliana, I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay here." Of course, there were always the exceptions, loud students or simply stubborn ones that thought they didn't need or had nothing to learn. Andrew glanced over towards the Flaaffy and Ditto for a second, just making sure that his pink companion wasn't causing trouble, so far it didn't seem that way.
Ditto blinked a couple times as he, it was technically genderless but Andrew always saw his Ditto more as a 'he' than a 'she', watched the other pink pokemon reach over and poked him. It felt funny, almost tingly, but that was probably because of his jelly-like body. Giggling as Veyja continued to poke him, now more insistently and just making the tingling feel more like a tickle attack. Rolling on the grass a little, Ditto decided to play around a little and transform into a Flaaffy himself, but the tickles didn't allow him to keep his ability under proper control. It ended up looking more like a flat blobby Flaaffy, almost like a jelly-rug, with Ditto's carefree expression instead of the pokemon's actual face. It is the supreme art of the teacher... Liliana tilted her head, suggesting she was confused, but still offered that warm smile of hers. "The air is different, you say...? Do you mean to say that the outside air here is fresher or less fresh than at your home, or that the general atmosphere, as in mood, is different here?" She asked, pretty positive that her first guess was correct, but some people used 'air' to mean 'atmosphere', and atmosphere sometimes referred to the general mood of a place. As he spoke again, Liliana agreed with him, nodding her head eagerly. "Yes, teaching is a joy, truly it is! I believe I will, too, Mister Andrew, thank you; well, so long as I can learn from the students on how to cooperate with them. Just judging from your speech and manner, pardon me, there is no doubt that the students will be most interested in what you teach!" She replied, remembering that not all students were as motivated and well-behaved as the ones who were the top students in their class. Although she had only just met Andrew, she felt calm and light just in his presence, and his formal manners were enough to make the regular woman swoon. However, Liliana wasn't one to develop a crush so easily or early, and even then, she didn't really believe in hitting on another co-worker, but he was certainly her first and closest friend on campus! Veyja grinned as the Ditto giggled from the poking, which apparently was tickling it, and she eyed him curiously as the blob transformed into an almost two-dimensional replica of herself. "Flaaa~ffy!" She baa-ed happily, quite pleased with the outcome of the transformation....to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.

A good teacher is like a candle - it consumes itself to light the way for others. ☭ Well, it sure feels good to be back here ☭Andrew blinked a little as Liliana asked about what he ment with his earlier comment, realizing that he had been a little vague with the terms he chose. "Ah, I'm sorry, perhaps I didn't explain myself properly." He said with a small nod in agreement to her first guess. "It is a little difficult to explain, the air's more pure here, when compared to the one in a city, so it's easier to detect changes in it, and it's hard to get used to if one's too susceptible to such minor things." The teacher did a quick double-back as he realized he had most likely given a more detailed explanation than needed. "I did not mean to rant about it, but I suppose it's better to explain the situation clearly." The male gave a quiet chuckle as he listened to Liliana's comments about teaching, giving him a small view of the way she handled her classes and overall opinion on the important aspects of teaching. "Oh, I sure hope so, but the classes I impart aren't what some students consider too important, I'm afraid." Of course, he wasn't complaining or anything, he had decided to give classes based on subjects he felt comfortable with, but they still weren't exactly what most students found appealing, his tone was what one could expect from a simple comment. "However, Performing Arts is the best topic to show the children the importance of cooperation and trust in their team, and seeing them learn that is the most beatiful thing I could witness; Evolution is rather underappreciated thanks to the Pokedex, a real shame, there are many things about such a process that a machine can't explain." He had perhaps taken the explanation a bit too far, but that tends to happen when one is excited about the topic the conversation revolves around.
Ditto gave what could be described as an amussed giggle when the Flaaffy seemed pleased enough with his 'rather poor' transformation, but who cared about the quality if the others still enjoyed it? "Di-tto~" He said happily before moving a little, trying to move around the other pokemon. And it had to be a really odd sight, the jelly-like, 2-D, Flaaffy just seemed to slide along the grass while waving it's feet.-Andrew Lowell ௫ -Ditto ₪ The best teachers teach from the heart, not from the book.

~ Liliana Rosenberg ~ What is my occupation...?: Advanced Contest Teacher/Nature Club Supervisor What on Earth am I doing...?: Speaking with Mr. Andrew How am I feeling...?: Nervous, yet a bit free
It is the supreme art of the teacher... Liliana lightly blushed and shook her head, realizing that she had embarrassed the both of them just because of one confusion. "Oh no no, you are not the one at fault here. I am adapting myself to metaphorical phrases, but I have yet to master the ability of discerning them from literal phrases. But yes, I do agree with you; the air here is most fresh and pure. I do not mind the explanation one bit; it only reveals what intricate thoughts you hold in your mind, and I am glad that you shared them with me." She smiled warmly again and pushed her hair back behind her ears as the gentle breeze slightly pushed them forward. Her dress wavered a little, but it was so long and was dense that only the ends of it actually shuddered. As he spoke about his classes, she felt a little surprised. All subjects in school were important, or so she had been taught; although some were more significant than another, they were all still classes worthy of taking. "What do you mean? Both the Performing Arts and the class of Evolution are subjects worthy of learning! The Pokedex only tips the surface of evolution, but a wise teacher is needed to delve into the complex process of evolving into a different creature." Now she lightly blushed again and brushed her hair away from her face, a habit now recognized of her as a sign of embarrassment or shame. "Ah, now I am ranting about a subject that I am not an expert of at all. I suppose I would be a hypocrite if I did not speak of it, however..." Liliana added, remembering her recent words of revealing one's intricate thoughts and ideas. Veyja snuck her body close to the ground again, as if in a pouncing position, giggling quietly and watching the little blob crawl around her. She pawed at it again, amused by the slight ripples it created from the physical contact....to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.
