StageX: TrainingA~E Helipad Only 23 meters in diameter several hundred meters above the street, with no outside fence to keep a fighter in bounds is one heck of place to fight!High above the city streets the A~E helipad is buffered from the high altitude winds by the building itself. Though quite high tech it was not designed as a fighting arena, so the floor is coarse non-slip material that has a tendency to be rough on the skin. These friendly yet 'No Holds Barred' styled fights are designed to get you ready for Heaven or Hell not babysit you, though its good to know medical staff is dutifully standing by. TerrainGeneral - Beautiful view, but very very high up. Fighters may decide if they prefer a day or nighttime fight. Weapons - Only what you bring with you. Bonus Effects - Special net-slides have been installed a floor down so if you go over the edge you will slide down to the landing below, we assure you this is better than falling to your death. [A quantum disturbance has been detected around the helipad allowing several 1 vs 1 fights to take place at the same time.]

Sol really disliked heights, that wasn’t to say he didn’t feel safe up this high but it certainly made his choice of standing along one edge of the yellow circle of the circular helipad a lot more comfortable than standing near the edge. He had stood there for quite a few minutes his jacket roomed and resting over his right shoulder with his thumbs tucked under his suspenders as he watched the clouds drift through the sky. Time seemed to pass more slowly up here than in the busy corporate building it was attached to. Perhaps that’s why he didn’t really think about how high up he was, but it didn’t completely put the concept out of his mind. He had no intention of learning to fly today.
He adjusted his jacket with his left hand letting the stiff breeze that flowed across the helipad lift the jacket from his shoulder and straighten out some of the wrinkles as the wind blew across it. No reason to wrinkle up ones clothes simply due to impatience…
Practice was why he was here sure it wasn’t all that glamorous a location but it was quiet, isolated, and easily supervised so he really want one to complain. The damn height of thing however had always given him pause either when visiting or just getting on a helicopter to escort mister brown from one business meeting to another. It most assuredly was not his favorite place to be, and certainly was not his most favorite place to kill time. Money was money however and if Mister Brown says be here he was there, no argument not conditions simply where and when, and a nice crisp signature on his paycheck was all he cared about.
Speaking of caring, where was that damnable Mr, White?

Snoogins looked out at the heli pad from the safety of the building and smiled to himself as he pulled his pack of smokes from his jacket pocket and put one in his mouth. Pulling out the lighter he waited till he was outside before lighting up and replacing the pack to his pocket.
Walking over to the helipad he inhaled deeply and then exhaled from his nose giving Sol a brief wave. Cracks his knuckles and neck slowly before nodding to Sol.
"Let's do this..."
[Yay it is short. Give me some time]

Sol smiled as he watched Snoogins make his way into the Helipad before speaking in his usual soft sweet manner, the sort of voice you’d imagine a jackal would have before killing its prey. “Ah, Mr. White glad you could---” Sol seemed to stop mid sentence as if his conversational CD had hit a heft scratch as he watched Snoogins exhale the breath of smoke from his nose. Sol hated cigarettes, cigars he could stand, but cigarettes? No those nasty things tended to anger him to no end. He carefully folded his Jacket and set it on the ground near the edge of the yellow circle before beginning again, shaking his head ever so slightly. “…That is a nasty habit you’ve got there Mr. White. For your own sake I hope you learn another means of expressing yourself.” Sols smiled had slowly returned, he certainly hated cigarettes but he didn’t hate this man, as a coworker Snoogins was blessedly immune to his judgments, or at least for the most part. Sol slowly approached The spot where Snoogins had stopped near the center of the helipad and adjusted his stance slightly he wasn’t about to go all out on the guy at first so he took his time approaching the man coming to a stop with his feet slightly apart balancing his weight on the heel of one foot and the toe of the other and he raised his hands into a traditional boxing stance. His hands were not curled into fists though they seemed only half committed to the act as if sol was holding an invisible bar in each hand. "Aleze!"The shout from the usually soft spoken man was concussive and sudden, he had barely been audible above the breeze before, but now it sounded as if the full force of his lungs had been emptied in one bellow of a command word. The word was not spoken alone though, his upper body seemed to tense and he flashed open his left hand as he drew it back slightly so that his elbow rested against his abdomen, his right fist coming forward as if to strike but oddly getting never closer to the mans face. In fact, despite their close range his fist seemed to be getting further away from Snoogins as his upper body leaned backwards. Balancing and accelerating Sols right foot upwards towards the bottom of Snoogins ribcage, the steel toed tip of his boot extended outwards to inflict as deep a kick as possible into the mans soft belly area. He completed a minor turn to give as much forward motion to the foot as possible and reduce his cross section slightly, the minor pirouette on the mans heel perfectly balanced by the leaning upper torso. Snoogins just shrugged and gave a half smile when the topic of his smoking came up. He knew Sol hated it but he had been smoking for far too long to stop now.
He stood and waited as Sol folded his jacket and approached him. He brought up both his hands into a loose fist, left in front and right in the back, as he waited for Sol to make his move.
He watched as the foot came at his stomache and took a step back, bringing down his right arm to smack down his leg with his forearm hoping to knock Sol off balance. Not waiting a moment after this he moves in and throws a hard punch at Sol.

[lol sucky post, sorry.] Sol felt the resistance and let the leg be pushed down, watching as Snoogins lowered his upper body to do so, as Sol leaned upright to balance the falling leg. As his upper body came upright his body counter turned slightly on the same heel as before as the heel of his right leg quickly touched the non slip surface of the helipad bringing him back to his starting position. His left foot shift slightly as his right found percahse to switch its balance to his toes completing what they called ‘ying-yang feet’ in the somewhat obscure Chinese martial art of Hsing-I, but Sol just called good footwork. It made him hard to push or pull without the application of significant force and allowed him to maintain his balance as well as possible while striking. His right leg now down and resting securely on the heel of his foot he pushed forward with his left leg to rotate his body towards him, his left arm which had been held against the side of his body like a strong spring struck out in an open palm strike down against the side of Snoogins head just below the temple. It wasn’t a persistent strike, merely a quick jab to off-set Snoogins balance and disorient him as he still was leaned forward to force the leg back down. The slight turn of his body into the hit was accelerated by pushing his leg forward by the toes on his left foot. The force of the turn was really all the force he needed for the strike, the arm bending slightly at the elbow to absorb some of the force of the hit and partially cushion the hand, as the arm recoiled back against his left side to prepare for another strike. He was not going to allow Snoogins much course of action when Sol was standing over him at this close a range. [ 2 / 8 ]

Feels a hand connect with the side of his temple as he was going in for the punch and lets out a small grunt as the cigarette falls from his mouth. The hit caused him to stumble back a few steps but he wasn't going to let Sol keep him off balance too long.
Recovering quickly he rushes in again, throwing a quick light jab with his left hand, aimed generally at Sol's head, which is followed with a right cross punch with a lot more of his strength put into it thrown right at his jaw.

After striking Snoogins back, Sol spent his precious few moments adjusting his balance slightly putting the weight back onto his right heel. The return to center after the kick was stable but not exactly any position he would be able to hold for very long. The hit certainly had not slowed Snoogins down though, who came rushing back in to strike. His quick left jab hit Sol before he could react, hitting just below his left eye. Sol instinctively let his neck move with the punch lessening the blow somewhat but it still stirred Sols brains for a second. It was then in the moment of slowly returning clarity that he noticed the mans right cross heading for him like a freight train.. He knew he had some options to block the strike but after just receiving a jab to the head some of them were less than realistic. Finally making a decision in the split seconds before the right cross was within range he slid his right foot back keeping his left foot forward so that his body turned out of the way of the right cross allowing it sail just past his chin. Snoogins body turning with the punch brought the mans back to face Sol. He kept the momentum of the turn however and brought his left leg off the ground at the same time as he performed a partial lean the weight resting on his right heel. Because of the close proximity of the two fighters however there was neither enough time nor room to strike with his foot as he had before and instead he brought his knee cap directly up and into the small of the mans back just over his spine. Snoogins' winced as he felt the knee in his back causing him to fall forward which he tried to use to his advantage. Tucking into a roll Snoogins used the momentum to get a bit further away from Sol. Spinning around he faced his oppoent.
Getting up to his feet he quickly gaged the distance between him and Sol before going into a sprint. As he is coming in he raises his fists as if to throw a punch at Sol's face again before ducking down and lounges at him, driving his shoulder at Sol's gut in an attempt wraps his arms aaround the man and take him down to the ground where he can try and control the fight more.

This guy was decidedly tougher than he had expected, a strike to the temple a knee to the spine and he was still going strong, Alright then sol thought, maybe I do need to playa little hardball to get this guys attention. As Snoogins regained his footing Sol back up a bit futher from the center of the ring. Another rush, but this time Mr. White remained on track, Sol was not going to be able to duck out of the way of this, at least not without some effort, so he prepared to take the strike head on. He intentionally shifted his weight to both heels bent his knees and brought both hands up to a boxers ready positions and waited as the other fighter closed the distance between them. ‘Just a little closer…’ He thought to himself as the man adjusted his position to try and take Sol in the gut it was obvious Sol was not going to be able to avoid the impact, he bent his knees a bit more and brought his feet as close together as possible trying to lower himself as much as possible to keep the tackle from striking too low on his body and taking his feet out from under him. Snoogins was just about upon him when Sol couched as low as his thick legs would let him and leaned backwards as Snoogins strike caught him in the rib cage, causing a grunt of pain to escape Sols mouth this however was not his area of expertise and he continued his roll backwards with snoogins on top of his tucked in knees, they two rolling backwards quite a touch earlier than Snoogins was probably expected and certain with a force he hadn’t as Sol was intentionally accelerating the roll. At its peak though Sol had a surprise… a potentially painful one for Snoogins. At the height of the roll Sol kicked out with his shins accelerating Snoogins over Sols head and hopefully sending him rolling past sol and towards the edge of the ring. Of course if he was holding on to Sol hed probably simply tumble over him and land in a heap opposite of Sol. Either way he was going to stop this raging bull one way or another. [ 4 / 8 ]

Snoogins grinned as he met Sol and started to take the man down to the ground. He was thinking of his next few steps before he noticed something was wrong and he felt a sharp pain and went over Sol, though seeing as he managed to get a somewatch decent grip on Sol durning the takedown Snoogins was not sent to the edge of the arena.
He landed just a little to the side of the man, letting out a sharp breath as he hit the ground. Dazed for a moment he hoped to get Sol before he could get back onto his feet. If he kept the fight down here he had a better chance to control it.
Rolling off of his back he pushed himself up into a courch, knowing that since Sol had rolled he would be a bit further away. Taking off his jacket he spotted Sol and threw the garment at him to try and distract him if not cover his face as he ran and lunged at the man again, trying to throw his entire weight at him and keep him down.

Sol continued his roll after dumping off Snoogins to the side and came to a stop in a deep crouch a few feet from the man, having just enough time to come to his feet before Snoogins performed his own roll and crouch, obviously he had the man attention but it was Sols turn to go on the offensive. As soon as Snoogins was standing Sol charged the man but instead of ducking down to tackle the man. He planted his left foot and spun on the pivot delivering a strong roundhouse kick to the l man’s kidney while he was in the process of taking off his jacket. Using all the force of the charge channeled directly into the thick steel toe of his boot and into the mans sensitive kidney area. The kick was followed through with a complete turn of his body so that should he miss Snoogins with the first kick he would bring the right foot down and continue the momentum by kicking with the heel of the left foot to compete a full turn. It wasn’t that Sol was angry per chance, but there was no way in hell he was going to let them turn this into a grab a** wrestling fight. [ 5 / 8 ]

Snoogins saw the kick coming and had to think fast, his jacket flying widly to the side forgotten for now he droped himself a little so the kick hit a little higher instead of the kidneys were it was aimed at but it still cause him a lot of painas he stumbled back a little.
Snoogins could feel a pain in his side, knowing that the area was going to bruise. His original idea to take Sol to the ground wasn't going to work and he needed to think of something else. Bringing his fists back up he decided to play this Sol's way.
Moving him he throws a quick, hard leg kick at Sol, hoping to hit the leg that is supporting his weight , in an effort to cause the man to Stumble. After the kick is made he throws a jab with his left hand, aimed for Sol's face like last time, but this time followed by a straight right punch aimed at the man's chest in an effort to knock him back.

‘Ooooh a standing fight…’ Sol smiled inwardly, ‘alright lets do this proper then…’ Sol shifted his weight and watched Snoogins as he prepared to attack and was overjoyed it started with a kick as the leg came up Sol wasted no time in cocking his leg back as if to kick at the mans side again but brought it down with a crushing stomp onto the mans shin as the kicks shot out towards his leg angling his foot so as to drive the side off the heel and its sharp rubber edge into Snoogins shin. It was a good thing the man was known to wear armor or this probably would have shredded the mans shin and broken his leg in the process. Any victory however was cut short by that damn jab again as it caught him a bit higher this time and from a slight angle rotating his neck slightly with the impact as he rolled with the jab attempting to reduce the damage but even he knew he’d have a shiner the next morning. The straight punch hit Sols chest but being as it was delivered indiscriminately into a large mass of muscle did little to effect the man, and simply forced a guttural ‘guh’ as some of the air in his lungs was forced out. however it did give him a few extra seconds to Plan his reprisal and though he would have liked to come up with a snappy retort to the man ineffectual hit but he’d would at this point rather talk with his fists. His body still slightly turn from stamping on Snoogins leg with his left he struck out with a potent left jab to just behind Snoogins jaw, it wasn’t that this was large target area it was also an extremely sensitive area know better as the mastoid process. This area was notorious for causing blackout in boxers around the world and even without hitting the mastoid had a tendency to be excessively painful to hit full force. His right had because it was slightly to the rear wasn’t able to perform much of a strike but he could at least take him off guard and he had just the strike for that. Sol jabbed out with his right his hand not fully forming a fist as aimed the .side of his hand at the philtrum, a the small bone just below the nose that connect the upper lip as two pieces. The joint between them was not only fragile it also happened to be a great way to snap a boxers head back which was precisely what Sol wanted to happen. If Snoogins was still conscious after those two hits he’d at least be disoriented enough to open him up to something more potent. Sol slid his left foot forward allowing his stronger right arm to be to the rear to be able to get enough speed for the next round. [ 6 / 8 ]

Snoogins was never more thankful for body armour as he was when Sol's foot came down hard on his shin, knowing that it could have easily broken his bone, but it still hurt, a lot, and caused him to start to drop.
He mentall cursed himself for not going for the man's jaw with his second punch as he saw the left jab, mangain to bring up his own left hand and use the forarm to deflect it enough that it scraped by his jaw. Unfortuneatly he couldn't deflect the right hit which caused him to fall back.
Trying to recovering he used his own momtenum to try a back roll and increase the distance between himself and Sol. He started to get up to his feet feeling a bit unsteady now, his face hurting quiet a bit. He did not rush in for an attack but tried to stay ready for Sol's next move.
