So, looks like we have a team. Consisting so far of:

Joseph Brown, rich white man. Snoogins, scrappy brawler with a smart mouth. Dante, big polite fellow with the moves. So pretty much Evil Comic Business man and his cartoon stereotype bodyguards.

Orders of business:

- Do we want to keep my defacto team name. I like it, you may not.
- Do we want to have a vice captain, or just make everyone else vice presidents of something.
-Bios! Lil' group editing before we turn em in. Though I'd like to get that part done ASAP.
- Training: Everyone on this team is rusty, using a new character or both. We should bash each others heads in a bit.

Word.

- Defacto Team name is fine with me, but I wouldn't be against anyone's alternate suggestions.

- No real opinion on my end, as this is my first HoH I would not recommend lil' ole' me.

- I'm almost done with my Bio, Im actually scarily close but I need to get some rest before I start really making some major mistakes. So probably tomorrow morning since I seem to be pretty productive during that time of day.

-- Secondary inquiry, Bio thread?

- Training is good, G-U-D good. Madi got caught up in work and I haven't been able to finish my fight with her, so Any sparring is fine with me.

Ok! There are now four of us. Let's get some editing done, meaning some new orders of business:

- Suggestions and improvements.
- Team synergy (Anything you think we're missing, or you think will work excellently together.
- Training stuff still!

Also.

Eccentric white man. Scrappy mouthy brawler. Stoic polite big fellow. Secretary like femme fatale.

We're pretty much team cartoon evil genius.

Delayed response due to having to fix dinner.

-Nothing so far, simply because though I feel confident in making bios I have zero idea what is really looked at HoH bio wise.

-Team synergy seems fine, Snoogins being a medic was something was contemplating (that or having a been an MP in his military career) but Im glad to have it on the team regardless and that simplifies some character back history for later writing. Actually to be fair it sounds just about right for some corporate exec visiting the games. Hes got his Personal Assistant (cant do business without one) and two body guards, sounds just about right.

- Training stuff probably can start at anytime, pair off and go at it? 8 posts per fight since that's about a half round to get the blood flowing or full post count?

The sooner we start practice the better. I am rusty. And by that I mean "Oh god, oh god I'm going to die" rusty.

Team synergy is looking good. And yes it is a bit cartoon evil corperation team... but that is a good thing. You always need the evil cartoon corperation team full of opposites with slight chances of clashing before they try and beat your face in.

As far as profiles go so far looking good, but as with Dante I have never done an HoH thing before so I can't add much to that.

After some review and having some free time I think Ive found some things that might help Snoogins and Green blades. These are just suggestions and they are just from my general experience fighting on this site, not necessarily from HoH. Though Ive watched HoH every year and Have been one of the primary donators over the years for that reason.

I'm going to stick to Armor and Weapons since that's the only area I'm willing to call myself certified to speak of.

Snoogins:

Armor-
Kevlar is not a very good material choice for protecting against stabs and punctures unless paired with another material. You see it mixed with gloves for police use primarily because its tight weave and high tensile strength are good for stopping things like needles sitting in the dark corner of a purse so officers don't get aids from doing a run of the mill inspection. Now against bullets, yes Kevlar is quite handy, but to have a decent amount of ballistic protection all over your body would be fairly bulky.

A better choice is one of the new composites materials. One of the better ones Ive seen recently is the MFA (Metal Flex Armor) which is quite thin (3.5mm) and very flexible. Its also naturally rubberized (non conductive) and they already produce duty gloves out of the stuff. Obviously you don't need to take my advice on the matter I just thought this might be a more convenient means of protecting yourself. Since its so thin you could probably still wear some soft elbow or shoulder pads without sacrificing much mobility at all.

Here's the site link if your curious about the material and some of the products they sell, since Joseph is funding this outing it would not be out of the question to have something custom made from the same material.

Weapon-

Not that Ive got anything against a lead pipe but why not something like an expandable baton, they've got 26", 21" and 18" ones out there, and they seem to all come with some sort of an electrically insulated grip naturally. The reason I mention this is it looks like some of our opponents will be wearing actual armor (full plate) and I'm curious how well a soft metal like lead would do against a sheet of steel plate.

Greenblades:

Armor-

We have to get you something other than spandex, that stuff burns and worse (melts!) too easily, a tight fitting Nomex body suit perhaps?

And a quick note on top of Dante's notes. Don't worry about "where did my character get this" as the easy answer can be "Joseph bought it". That allso applies to any tech stuff you want to build in too, for example rather than nomex/spandex we could make it a variant of the vest Joseph has.

A good once over tells me its a lot better, and more versatile load out.

I'll 'tear' into it later but other than some minor nibble here or there it was fairly solid to begin with.
