No specific topic of discussion here.
Just a place and time where all students from all houses can talk about anything like normal students would.

This is the place to find new friends from other houses, have a chat about the latest article in the quibbles, or even to tell us about your new joke shop!

Start by introducing yourself.

give us a name you'd like to be called by,
tell us a bit about any clubs you might be in,
any teams you might have joined,
and just anything that interests you.

Houses are not as important here, but if you like, you can tell us all.

I'll start by introducing myself.

I'm Signora Della Luna, but you all may call me Della.

I love over-thinking things, but I also love a simple kind of fun.
Quidditch is a favorite sport of mine, and I enjoy a good game of chess.

Hey guys!
I'm Eliza, I'm not in any clubs as of yet, so if anyone has any suggestions...
I'm actually muggle born so I'm not too familiar with wizarding stuff, but quidditch sounds like loads of fun.

Hi! Call me Artemis, please.
I love to read and I agree with Della, Chess is fun. I also enjoy Scrabble and checkers, alongside many other board games.

Yeah I'm a reader and a weirdo ^^

What kinds of books?
personally, I normally like science fiction novels from the late 1800's and early 1900's.
However, Life of pi is my favorite book, but it is as unscientific as is possible to get.

Actually, The entire book revolves around the compatability of science and religion. But you'd have to know how to read deep between the lines to see that. The book is about a boy who gets lost at sea in a liferaft with a full grown benghal tiger.

.-.
I basically read anything^^
My favorite series is the Sweep series which is about an adopted girl who joined a coven with her boyfriend.(Wiccan)And she finds out she's a blood witch.
Right now I'm reading Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the looking-glass, The Cirque Du Freak series, and Interview with a Vampire.

I've seen the movie "interview with a vampire" and I was very pleasntly suprised. first I saw twilight and was very disgusted at bella's character and how everyone else reacted to her.(I'm not hating on people who like twilight, you can still like twilight, but it just wasn't my thing) then I read dracula. He was an extreemly two dimensional character and not at all an interesting read in my opinion. but I loved interview with a vampire. very insightful and interesting.

and yet three more questions.

1. have you seen the disney cartoon version of alice in wonderland?

2. if so, how close was it to the book?

3. which was better?

Here's a question for all Hogwarts students past and presnt.

If for some reason, you couldn't be in the house you are in now, which house would you be in and why?

Slytherin. It's the only other house that fits me and the only one that I fit into. I can be loyal but it's not a very dominint trait and my bravery is tempered by my self preservation.

Since the topic above is books...
Has anyone read The Mortal Instruments Trilogy?
