Will you cry when Severus dies?

The last of the Harry Potter movies are fast approaching, but we already know the fate of Severus Snape. I cried the entire night when I found out that he past away and I probably will again when I actually see it. Will I be the only one crying or will you too?

Yes, no dought. I cried for days afterwards when I read the last book. It was a totally unfair death, of all the characters that I though where going to die he was the last.

I know this will sound odd but it was a crap death, he gets killed by a damn snake, of all the cool ways to die he has to have a painful one, I know he needed to give Harry his memories, but still

Yes I probably will cry too. I do agree with Hazel, it was a pretty lame way for someone like our dear Professor to die. Atleast he doesn't have to suffer through the killed by drapery jokes like Sirius did.

I do wonder how they will film it though. They are pretty good about keeping the movies kid friendly and I wonder if they will actually show the snake attack him or if it will cut away and then show him dying? I wonder if they would deem it too violent and frightening to put into the movie. I don't know but they had better not cut out the passing of his memories to Harry. I have this bad feeling that they will. So I hope that since they stole his big scene from HBP from him that they will atleast let him have his death. Of course if JK wanted to rewrite it at the last moment and let him live I would be totaly ok with that too. xd

Yes, poor Severus' death was very unfair. Although, I saw it coming. I mean, he had a very sad life and I know he had to give his memories to Harry, but he deserved some happiness. He, like Edgar Allan Poe, got the raw deal cry

They better not cut out his memories, that would be too far, he's a big part of the story, they ought to keep in his memories or else nothing will make sence. He's the main reason I read the books. But I really cant see him staying alive and what would he do if he does live on? He's got nothing left, all he wanted was Lily, I dont think he could live without her any longer, it makes you want to cry to think about it

Yeah, it's very sad once you think about it. I don't know, I think the JK Rowling should have granted him some happiness or peace (though he probably has that know that he's 'dead' question ) Hopefully they won't cut any of the memories out, but there might be a few left out or altered.

I have to agree. I will cry when Severus dies, and if they cut out the memories, I'll get pissed. I'm sorry, but he's gotten a very raw deal. First and foremost, he's hated by EVERYONE. I don't even think that Moldie-Shorts likes him, to be perfectly honest. Secondly he gets his big part totally cut out of the film that was named FOR HIM. Thirdly, he dies. I mean honestly, I'd prefer that Harry had died rather than Severus. And Aluxis, I too, would be fine with JKR rewriting the books so that Severus lives. (The drapery jokes are pretty funny though... No offense meant to Sirius.)

I so totally will. That was unfair- his death is the most painful, AND it's an insult worse than getting a boot to the face after being tripped. I mean COME ON! He's the head of Slytherin! WHY DOES HE HAVE TO GET KILLED BY A DANG SNAKE?! That's like someone going and then slapping him in face yelling "REJECTION!".

Sorry, I get a little wound up about this. Especially since he is easily the most human and complex out of all of them.

I would do the damn same if I was bitten by a damn snake after all those years of hard work. But yeah there's no reason why he shouldnt have his picture in the headmasters office.

@Cobalt Mist-I totally agree with you, it was a huge insult getting killed by that snake, it was like he was being rejected by Slytherin

I WILL cry, I'm still freaking mad that she killed him. I cried so hard after reading the book I had to go outside of my friend's house cause they where still reading although they knew what had happen. Snape was the only reason why I read the books.

But when that movie comes out I'm going to make all my friends each a cloth handkerchief. Each of them will have there favorite character's names that have died in the books. Mine is gonna be so wet crying crying crying
