Enough said there right!?

Well, i hope i'm not breaking any rules some how ::hides:: anyways, I've done stupid things as a musician...

talked to myself during a chair audition because i was scared to DEATH! (the day after it I finally got back to the woodwinds there just has to be a chair test, i was stuck with the brass class in a side room squeaking on my dear clarinet...caused me to get fourth) I mean, really...no one but my friend kimberly...except she didn't really know me back then ^.^. we're like the only two girls playing first part right now---errr back the topic!!

i've done so many stupid things, like once i stood up thinking i had to give something to the flute players but when i realized i just had to keep it...everyone was like staring at me o_o (no wonder my co conductor doesn't talk to me anymore...)

then there was yesterday, when I was online at my band site--I found out that all state was the harder one to get into then all southern!! (i thought it wasn't hard because we were recording) 38 of our students got in last year--thats how i found out...because 44 got into all southern and i didn't practice my butt off as much as i am right now for all southern. (btw, its junior high division) I feel stupid.

^_< any one else who experienced their stupid/embarassing times as a musician?

I have so many stories! ^^" Well, a few times I tripped while going backwards into a set that's really tight (like a one step interval). I also tripped going backwards while we had to go around in circles, the stupid trombone almost ran me over! Then another time it was a halt and I just randomly fell over ((Probably because of the visual)) but I nailed the clarinet-group solo! >_< Then while we were all supposed to play on beat four, I played on beat two. I'm odd. O_O

there was this one time where I got brain damage during band.......l_l;;; just stared....and mr. acciani gave me a weird look and it too me a minute to realize...then i forgot to play the flats smile played the wrong scale that day too...

ah! even now I have a bit of brain damage biggrin ^^v

Embarrasing moments?

You had to ask.

There's this flute thing where you have a private lesson in front of an audience.

It's kinda hard to get the chance to do this, and it's amazing.

So, I missed a fourth octave F, and messed up the whole measue because of it.

Then, I made this face at the end that the proficient flute teacher noticed.

I was hiding behind my hair for half the lesson.

There are others I'm conveniently forgetting...

Ooh, the wrost thing? The time I was playing a solo in church, and half way through my clarinet gave a mahoosive squawk. Everyone laughed I was so embarassed redface Someone in my school once fainted half way through an oboe recital in assembly.

Eh... I've almost done that. I passed out at my teacher's house, once. I wake up and the first thing I see is Rob (my teacher) standing over me, and he says, "Is your oboe all right?" Not really huge on the mortifying scale of things, but I felt like saying it.
