Code LYOKO: A New Realm
Two years after Jeremy and the Lyoko Warriors fully deleted X.A.N.A., international authorities found the supercomputer and the scanners that they used. They immediately searched all files related to the project and its creator, Franz Hopper. They also did a complete search of the factory, the Hermitage, and the data on the supercomputer. Thanks to Jeremy's foresight, however, any data relating to the identities of the Lyoko Warriors was deleted, and their identities and deeds were never learned of. Their adventures died with them.
However, new adventures were about to begin.
The details were broadcast to the world through all of the major news networks, including how the technology was completely destroyed and the notes kept under maximum security. They told about how Hopper designed all of the hardware, and then vanished into his cyber world, never to be found again.
What they got wrong, however, was that Franz Hopper did not create Lyoko. He only created X.A.N.A., and he stole the knowledge of everything else, including the data for Lyoko, the supercomputer, and the scanners, from Bill Jobs, an engineer from America and a friend of Franz Hopper. Bill Jobs created the first version and asked Franz Hopper to try to improve on it by making a second one in France. Hopper made a few modifications to his own, such as X.A.N.A., and Bill used the information from Hopper's computer to perfect his own system. Since Bill himself was not working on a military project, he did not install X.A.N.A. into his system. However, he did keep a copy of it, just in case.
Of course, when Franz Hopper disappeared into his digital universe, Bill Jobs realized that he couldn't let the truth of Lyoko out, so he locked his system, notes, and data all away in a hidden location within his country. He left the building with the supercomputer deactivated, promising himself to never let anyone, including himself, lay eyes on it or know of its existence. Even when the news released the story about the second Lyoko in France, Bill never revealed the existence of the one hidden in America. In fact, his reaction to the whole story was to move to Los Angeles, California, and decide to spend the rest of his life in blissful ignorance.
Such was Bill's flaw, for now the only person who knew about the supercomputer's location wasn't anywhere near it to keep guard. Who knows when somebody will discover it? What will happen when it's found? Most importantly, will they be able to solve whatever problems they may encounter?
