Salamence Shakedown! Trouble in the Mountains! - 7/11/09 - Training RP

Tommy felt the insane urge to revisit the Salamence nest up in the mountains on Aquos Island. While traveling in the cave, the team came upon a giant crystal in the middle of an open cavern. And low and behold, a group of Salamence appeared to challenge Aqua's new presence on their territory. Being territorial creatures, their leader, a giant green shiny Salamence confronted Thard's Salamence to form somewhat of a peace treaty.

Yet, some Aqua members, namely Cody and Tommy, only wanted to use the Salamence for their odd Crystal that was housed in the cavern. This provoked an attack by the Salamence. An attack for peace. Should Aqua win against the waves of Shellgon and Salamence then they may go back to HQ unharmed only if they promise to never appear in their territory again. Should they lose, then the Salamence would have quite the interesting dinner.

Eventually, peace was reached, even though the Salamence colony still did not approve of the tactics used by the Aqua members who tried to steal their crystal, they eventually let us leave with a few choice samples. We may never return to the Salamence's den, as it would spur a war among wars and cause already bitter friendships to shatter against the tremendous weight placed upon them.

Salamence are solitary territorial creatures, it would be rude to intrude upon their territory again uninvited. As quickly as we entered the cavern, Thard was rushing us out, as the Salamence were looking a bit angry that they had lost to mere humans.

Edit by Thard: Even though we didn't gain their friendship, I think we at least gained some grudging respect. If there ever comes a time when the island is threatened, the Salamence might be persuaded to help fight a common foe.

Adventure Log Recap: 7/05/09 - The Oceans are rising. There's nothing we can do. What could be the cause? Who is to blame? What could be the matter with the eco-system? Team Magma? Team Tsunami? All are likely to blame. -End Transmission-

Adventure Log: 7/12/09 - The Team goes on a whim to investigate Orre again after the destruction of Team Shadow. While their original goal was to make sure Shadow was no longer present in Orre, it turns out they had a much bigger problem on their hands. A problem not even the Arwing they rode to Orre could solve.

And we all know the Arwing's firepower could solve just about everything right? Right? Well it turns out the Orre Region had grown about 10% in size when compared to the Orre of one week ago.

After exploring for a while and being given the opportunity to catch a Rock- or Ground-Type Pokémon, the Team reported back to the Arwing for a quick brainstorming session on how the Orre Region could have grown so much so suddenly. So far, we have come to the conclusion that the seafloor must be rising due to the ground being dirt instead of sand, and the high salt levels on the surface of the soil. And the beached Wailmer wasn't that big of a hint either.

But how it could be doing so? We have yet to find out.

Dark received an odd email on his Pokegear telling about a tournament to be held at Canalve. Along with the Aquans he ventured to the city where they discovered a large group of criminal looking people getting onto the ship to Iron Island. They followed the thugs after learning that there was an underground Tournament being held at the island. It’s a dangerous tournament, since the loser would have to surrender a Pokémon to the victor. After a few people snagged some Pokémon the police barged in and began the round up the criminals. Lucky for Aqua, all the members got out before being caught.

I don’t think there was any rewards.

The Science of Altering Geography - 7/19/09 - Main RP

Team Aqua went to the old Cipher compound in Orre. There we forced our way in and went to the basement laboratory. We confronted Dr. Leroy Turnalk, a scientist responsible for the equipment used to change the landscape of Orre. He fled and we had to deal with a group of guard Pokemon. After words, we found Dr. Turnalk (who had been stopped by BL's Deoxys) and confronted him. He told us that the technology was now in the controll of the Lombardi crime family. BL promptly downloaded all relevant files and hacked the security system. Then we proceeded to leave the compound and catch some Pokemon who were in the grasslands due to the increased fertility of Orre because of Dr. Turnalk.

Rewards: JD - Rank-up, 10,000 PD, a Great Ball, and a hold item.

Mt. Mortar's Karate King! Kiyo! - 7/27/09 - Training RP

Bored with recent events, Ginji decided it would be fun to go and explore the depths of Mt. Mortar, also known as "The Deepest Dungeon in Hell" which is odd as it's a mountain, so wouldn't it be "The Tallest Dungeon to Heaven"? Anyways, he gathered a team and they flew through the sky to their destination.

As soon as they entered the mountain, a gang of Pokemon ambushed the trainers and stole a few very important items. After they were retrieved, they were all teleported to the Dojo of Kiyo, the Karate master. He tested their skills and gave them a Tyrogue for their mastery in battle. Only Physical moves were allowed.

And with that, the team flew back to HQ, happy as a box of clams.

Rewards: The Pokemon caught in Mt. Mortar and a Tyrogue if you managed to beat the Karate King's Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan in a fight.

Maddy and Ginji's Date - 8/01/09 - Training RP

Exploring the net can be fun. Exploring other people's bank accounts can be even more fun. Especially when those people are the Government. And they have high-end programmers taking on any hacker that tries to steal from them.

But those programs turned into Tyranitars when uploaded to the Digital Plane where Ginji and Maddy where. They always go on the most interesting dates. Sadly, the Tyranitars were deleted almost instantly, even though they were beasts, they still fell hard like titans.

Ginji and Maddy were booted from the server as soon as Ginji took a Suspicious Package from the vault. They managed to escape with a butt load of untraceable insured money and the Suspicious Package.

Rewards: A kiss on the cheek for Ginji. And 98,464,000 PD for Aqua to take down the Mafia.
