As I type, they're doing maintenance on the zOMG servers, or so they claim.

But I know the truth, the wicked old men of yore have climbed out of their crypt lairs, with their accursed knives in hand..

And they are hunting down the fabled behemoth Landshark. The one creature that puts the fear of god into those who would wander Gold Beach.

Once they have slain that wonder of zOMG, they will release their neutered version of the Landshark, lesser in all ways, before returning to their hidden lairs.

So... so... now I know you for what you are! You... you minion of those wicked old men!

How could you say that about the Landshark? cry
PostPosted: Sat Jul 04, 2009 12:13 am

Because it's devoured many of my comrades? Ravaged the seaside? Destroyed many a fine seaside picnic?

I say that about the Landshark because it was an unstoppable force of evil and hunger that plagued these lands for many moons. Our greatest and bravest warriors fell before it, and the land was bereft of heroes. But no more!

Also, the Landshark is a total d**k.

Aye... but it is a kaijuu. A fearsome behemoth!

One should expect a king to behave like a king, should not also a kaijuu behave like a kaijuu?

That depends, Showa, Heisei, or Millennium era?

Because I remember many a movie in which the King of Monsters himself Saved the world.

Including from pollution. And he didn't nee a kid with a monkey, either. Suck on that Gaia, and your Avatar appraised of all five elements. No wonder the Ebon Dragon stole her so easy. He probably splashed her with polluted pond water first.

And if need be I will pull out the Manilla card.
But I really don't want to, because as interesting as the social context is. . . WHY can he change size? There's no reasopn for that! Worst of all his kids, I swear.

*laughs*

Mixing Captain Planet and Exalted? whee

Also, Kaijuu likes stomping about and doing stuff like the Landshark, uncaring of humans. biggrin

Oh please.
If the Alchemicals are Transformers, the Terrestials are definitely Captain Planet.

Once I work the others into convenient 80s cartoon references I'll commishion a drawing of it and motivational it with. . .

"Exalted: Simpliest explanation ever."

Hahahahahahahahaha...

No mention of Teenage Mutant Ninja Lunars? ^_-

I don't know if TMNT is best for Lunars.

Although it does seem to best fulfil it.

It's that or Usagi Yojimbo and/or Bucky O'Hare. ^_^

Bucky O'Hare was epic.

I was actually thinking about the Vissionaries. Each character had a different animal totem power that reflects their personality by allowing the knight to temporarily transform into that animal. Plus, their magical powers allow them to use the futuretech technology that's fallen out of use on their planet (do to the reawakening of magic). But I wonder if I'm pulling the metaphor too long and should back off.

Visionaries were also quite nice. And yes, they DO fit the theme well.

Down to that one episode where they were trapped in their animal forms. ^_^

So, the Transformers, the Vissionaries, Captain Planet, and hmm...

Skeleton Warriors for Abyssals?
After that, I start hitting some difficulties.
