READ THE WALKTHROUGH BEFORE ASKING ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE! THANK YOU! DO NOT PM angel_baby_4 FOR YOUR QUESTIONS!!! Every has a question every now and again. Chances are, that one of the captain or crew members might not be able to answer those questions for you immediately, either. Well, the answer to your questions lie in here. Ask knowledgable members of the guild about whatever you need to know. The captain/crew will check this thread as well, so if there is any false information given-- we will correct it. As for your questions, there is NO dumb question. The dumbest thing a person could do would be to act as if they know the answer to a question and post something somewhere that is wrong or against the guild rules. So, don't feel like you are the only one who is lost around here. It's confusing sometimes, yes! Yet, somehow we all manage to get the questions answered and you are left knowing more about how the guild works.

Questions that have been previously asked:
Question: I don't understand how the profiles work for the maiko. Do I post the test in the thread or do I pm it to a crew member? Answer: Post the test in the thread. angel_baby_4 grades them there and, afterwards, she posts your okiya in a dark red at the top of your post, leaving your profile at the bottom of your post.
Question: Where is the form to become a mother or a maid in an okiya? Answer: There is NO form for this. However, this was done for a reason. Please pm angel_baby_4 with your character name, position you wish to apply for (maid or okiya mother), and the okiya of YOUR choice, and she will add your name to the correct okiya in no time. The reason you have to pm angel_baby_4 is simple-- she wants to explain what the character consists of and how you should play that character. As in...you playing that character is in direct contact with the geisha/maiko. If you do not fulfill their specific role(s)...you may get kicked out if you are a maid. If you are the okiya mother, though...you may be asked to resign from your position as the okiya mother...
Question: Where do I post my test? Answer: You post is in the Okiya Placement Profile/Test thread... DO NOT PM angel_baby_4 WITH YOUR TESTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Instead, leave your test there and your test will be erased, replaced with an edit by angel_baby_4 saying which okiya you are in. The tests are not left up, because we do not want anyone to cheat and try to get into certain okiya by looking at other people's posts. Instead, we want the maiko to be diverse and able to get to know various groups that they will be interacting with more and more.
Question: Where do I get a Signature ID? Answer: WE ARE NOT CURRENTLY MAKING THESE RIGHT NOW! STOP ASKING FOR ONE!!!!! That's right, we're in the process of making a new id system...therefore, you canNOT get a signature id right now. However, there is a banner thread that has lovely banners for the guild itself.
Please hold OFF on your comments and suggestions for our guild TOWN FORUM. Thanks!!!
Post your questions below, unless they have already been asked here.

Go to the forums page. At the top you will see a small listing of subforums. Go to the the one entitled "Geisha Related RPG". You will find your okiya in that forum. You will have to look around for a geisha to be your older sister, but we don't have that many right now.

they are posted, the requirements to go from maiko to geisha, but i cant remember where now.....well, you have to have a certain number of steady patrons, but since things are still kinda loopy and we have so many maiko, you may just be able to skip it and become one, its up to angel though, we can talk about it

Well...it's actually from maid, to maiko, to geisha...there requirements for maiko to become geisha is 10 requests for a maiko from 1 patron, 5 requests for a maiko from 2 patron, and so on and so on...basically just 10 requests from various patron at parties. ^^
We're steadily gaining more patron, so this should be getting better and better. We do need recruiters eventually. So if you're interested about starting a recruiting thread, let me know. I'll give you any info you may need. <3

I was wondering, when it a maiko meets all of the requirements to become a geisha, does the picture on the id banner/card change? Will this geisha have to move another okiya because of there so many maiko? May a maiko go a head and rp in the tea house thread without her Onee-chan? One last question, does a maiko have to be invited with a geisha to attend a party, even if a patron invited the maiko and not the geisha?
Thanks for your time ^^;.

I will answer each question in a row for you. ^^
I was wondering, when it a maiko meets all of the requirements to become a geisha, does the picture on the id banner/card change? The Answer is yes! The new geisha will have to resubmit her information to the thread and request her new geisha card.
Will this geisha have to move another okiya because of there so many maiko? The Answer is no. When anyone in the guild takes their test, they are stuck in that okiya for the remainder of the rp. ^^ Under special circumstances, though, some geisha may be moved to other okiya. That will be explained later on, when the points and yen system go into effect for the maids/maiko/geisha, as well!
May a maiko go a head and rp in the tea house thread without her Onee-chan? The Answer is yes! Go ahead and rp in the tea house. Light conversation is encouraged. Look up to the geisha for their ways. This was the original rp thread, so maiko are always welcome there.
One last question, does a maiko have to be invited with a geisha to attend a party, even if a patron invited the maiko and not the geisha? The Answer is no. The maiko will attend the party, unless the patron specifically asks that a certain maiko does not attend the party. There are only four slots-- two slots for geisha and two slots for maiko-- so if a geisha has more than one maiko, she may have to only invite one of them with her. Usually the patron will choose, though.
Thanks for your time ^^;. No...thank you for asking such wonderful questions! I hope my answers were beneficial to you!

Pardon me! ^o^; But I have a kind of silly question myself.
To become a maiko, you must have 20 posts, correct? But do those 20 posts all have to be RP posts? I was just wondering because I don't want to cheat here. ^^;; I have made a few comments elsewhere on the site (they were not one-liners though) and I was just wondering if they counted.
Thank you and much love! *^^*
