Everyone wants to take something away from the things they do. What is it that you want to gain from this Guild? Fame and fortune may be a bit out of reach, but we mods can certainly attempt to help you with that sweatdrop .

How do you know when to stop yourself.
I mean while you're writing how do you know where to stop so that the other person can insert his/her character in.

So you want to learn how to judge when you have done enough? So say you are in the middle of a fight, and you want to know when to let the other guy take a swing at you?

Yup. Or when my character is talking to someone, I don't expect the person to just be sitting there and nodding.

Yeah I find that difficult too. I mean, try putting emotion into a character that's supposed to be like Ulquiorra, emotionless.
You can't just keep saying. 'Van was angry at her, but he didn't show it and kept it hidden.' It's probably good at the first couple of time but after a while it gets bland.

Well, for example instead of putting 'Van was angry at her, but he didn't show it and kept it hidden.' put something along the lines of....
Van was angry at the younger woman. Her ignorant nature always seemed to itch him in the wrong place. Forcing a smile to his face to hide his raging thoughts, Van continued on without letting his pleasant mask fade around the edges. Perhaps if she could learn to have proper manners like other women her age, he wouldn't have to force himself to act around her.

I need to extend my posts longer with more useable content.
I can't type like whole chapters for some reason.

You just have to look into your character a bit further. Instead of saying he was angry, say why he was angry. And instead of say he hide his emotions, say how he did it. Just by putting that little edge of deeper thought into your character you will have a longer and more interesting post. 3nodding
This applies to both you, Dante, and Recession. Though I must say, writing an entire chapter for one post is a little bit excessive. sweatdrop Most people want to see between two paragraphs and five, depending on how you break your paragraphs up.

Thanks Rene.
Depends on the case, I think. When it comes to fighting you probably shouldn't stretch a simple action, such as a block, into four sentences. But I generally go for at least two sentences, unless I'm having writer's block. Then it'll be just one, five word sentence.

Fighting... Isn't my forte. sweatdrop I'm a thoughtful writer, not a motions maker. Fighting is the one thing I can almost never write unless it's involving an insane amount of description. I'd definitly find another mod to help you guys with fighting. sweatdrop
