It has been one year since Vincent Valentine and WRO defeated Hojo, Weiss the Immaculate and Deepground. Genesis Rhapsodos carried off the unconscious form of Weiss, and the two have not been seen since.

Peace has wrapped its angelic wings around the city of Edge, no misfortunes have fallen upon its denizens. At least... until today. A familiar face has appeared once more, thought to have been defeated for good, two years ago: Sephiroth. For what reason has he returned this time?

Bio: A former member of SOLDIER, he helped the members of AVALANCHE, Yuffie Kisaragi and Vincent Valentine, evacuate the citizens of Midgar as Meteor fell four years ago. He's rather frustrated that Sephiroth has returned once more.

Bio: After the problem with Deepground, Bella has been with Yuffie and just following her dear friend, and traveling with her to perform. Bella doesn't know why Sephiroth came back, but she had something important to do with him.

"The only one who could possibly stop him would be Cloud. After all, he always seems to come back, stronger than ever," Blaze added. He looked out the window, frustrated.

At that moment, the silver-haired villain strolled in, his expression completely calm as his old enemies were gathered around. "It's been a while, Bella and Blaze."

"What do you think?" Sephiroth sharply answered.

"What, are you back for revenge again?" Blaze quipped, annoyed. His hand twitched as he reached for the hilt of the Sword of Flames, annoyed.

"Don't bother... I've come to say that I've regained my sanity," the silver-tressed man stated.

"A likely excuse Sephiroth!" the scarlet-haired boy snapped.

"Don't believe me? What about now?" Sephiroth asked. He walked closer to Bella before drawing Masamune. The deadly blade flashed as it moved through the air, before he thrust its tip into the ground, causing it to stay fast in the ground.

He stepped back, away from the sword, his arms relaxed at his sides. "Go ahead, take it."

"I have another thing to say. With my recovery of my sanity, as allowed guilt and my other emotions to return as well. I want to redeem myself for my past offenses. I'm not asking you to forgive me, I merely wanted you to know," Sephiroth stated. His green eyes flickered between Blaze and Bella. "Are you two still together? If so, I'm glad. If not, that's too bad."

"Oh, I don't know, maybe it's because I'm the one who told Bella about how Blaze felt in the first place, nine years ago, perhaps?" Sephiroth mockingly answered.

Blaze's grip around the hilt of the Sword of Flames, frustrated. "You're the one who told her in the first place!? What I told you was to be in complete confidence!"

"Your temper still hasn't been calmed I see," Sephiroth quipped. An amused expression found its way to his face as Blaze's frustration grew with his remark.

"I didn't come here to argue. I'm leaving. Farewell then," Sephiroth calmly answered. He began to walk towards the door of the 7th Heaven bar, leaving Masamune in the ground behind him.
