Ohayo, mina! -smiles- I am your affectionate host, Neo Sailor Animula! In the name of all that is good and right I shall punish all evil which threatens Gaia! But, for right now I'll just show you around and introduce you to our fellow crime fighters and wonderful guild.

Rules

Ok, so every good place needs rules. If we didn't have then we'd be just as bad as all those spamers and negatrollers, right? Right! So, here are ours. Please follow them. I'd rather not ban you for bad behavior. Uran[us]-sama wouldn't like that.

5. Threads may go in the main forum even if they are not suppose to be there. After 24 hours of a mod catching the thread, they will be moved with the exception of certain threads.

Failure the follow these basic rules may result in a ban. Thankfully, we've never had to do that! -smiles-

Once a Birthday thread has been up for a week it will be moved to the picture diary subforum.

Q & A About the Clan

There are general questions about our clan and the series. If you have anymore, please post them and I'll to the list along with my or Uranus' answer.

Q:When was the clan started?
A:Well, this clan actually started out as a guild, and just moved when zOMG was created.

Q:When was the guild started?
A:Uranus and [GS] Sailor Pluto began this guild with the first post July 31st 2006, however, it didn't actually open until August 2nd 2006.

Q:WHY did you start this clan?
A: We started this clan to further our work in the guild. We started this guild for two reasons. One, we're HUGE moonie fans. Two, we love Gaia and wanted to help out in a fun way.

Q:What is your purpose?
A:If we had to make a mission statement, it would go something like this.. "The Gaia Sailor Scouts sole purpose is to help defend the average Gaian against acts intolerable according the ToS, to assist them with questions about the site, and to guide newbs where others might not help at all."

Q:Are any Scout positions available?
A:From time to time we have a scout leave us for unknown reasons. And due to this unfortunate tragedy we must find someone to replace them. If this occurs you will surely hear about by surfing our threads either in the stickies or announcements. PM [GS] Sailor Uran[us] if you want to be a GS Cast Member.

Q:Can I make an Otaku Senshi? (Fan Made)
A:Sure! We have quite a few already. And they defend Gaia quite admirably.

Q:I've seen quite a few people claiming to be scouts from your guild, and some of them even have the GS in their name! Are they your scouts?!
A:Only the Scouts/Knights...ect.. listed in this thread are official to OUR guild. We have members (in our guild) who pretend to be their favorite character, but that doesn't make them official to our guild. However, we don't discourage members doing so or helping out anyone while they represent us. In fact, we encourage everyone of gaia to act as a Senshi would to anyone. We like to set an example for what a Gaian SHOULD be. ^.^

Q:Can ANYONE be a scout in your guild?
A:Yes, we're open to the general public. We only require you post at least twice a week in our guild. Unless of course other life occurrences prevent you. Keep in mind however, if your too busy to be here, then don't be one of our main scouts. Many people want those positions and it's a waste of a username if you quit.

Q:What should I do if someone flames or comments rudely on my profile?
A:You should do one or two of three things. One, ask them to stop nicely. Two, delete the comment. Or three, report them. Reacting to them in a rude way will do nothing. And, it's unsenshi-like conduct. sad

Myths & Facts about Sailor Moon

M:Sailor Earth is Mamoru's sister/Naru and she has possesion of the golden crystal!
F:Sailor Earth is a fan created senshi. She does not own the golden crystal. Helios watches over it and it is Mamoru's/Endymion's. This is a common myth that shows up because of fanfiction.

M:Sailor Sun is real too!
F:Again, Sailor Sun is a fan created Senshi. She/He appears quite a bit in Fanfiction.

M:Sailor Cosmos is Usagi in her ultimate form!
F:This is neither confirmed or denied by Naoko. However, it is confirmed she IS sailor moon, but NOT Usagi. So, consequently, it's unknown.

M:Seiya, Yaten and Taiki are men when they are not scouts! There is NO way Usagi, Minako or Ami would be with them! THEY are NOT lesbians! crying
F: Well.... true on one account. Even though it was never proven they weren't truly just women who physically just changed themselves into men to find their Princess. Usagi, Minako and Ami never confirm or deny that they are not bisexual in the series. Usagi hints she is not in one Stars episode, but never really says she ISN'T. So, the possibilities in fanfiction are endless. ^.^

M:Sailor Moon was once a hentai!
F:I'm sorry to disappoint any hentai fanboys or girls.... but no it never was. Doujinshi is fan created and usually hentai. It's legal in Japan because the copyright laws work differently there.

M biggrin ude! They're naked when they transform. All those colorful lights aren't there in the Japanese version!
F:Again, sorry to disappoint, but yes they are. Sailor Moon was targeted towards a younger female age group--not adults. Also, during the time it was created 'details' such as genitalia and pubic hair were illegal in Japanese anime and video in general. ( I'm sure you hentai watchers have seen the amazing invisible p***s trick). I'm not sure how the laws work now, but they must have changed recently.

Bold: Bolded names are those who need to still change their name to have GS in front of it. [If you have already done this and it has not changed, let Ani-sama know.

Italicized: Again means these people are head honchos in the guild. Refer to them for questions or assistance.

Strike: These people have either quit the guild or are no longer search-able on Gaia. After a week they will be removed and placed on the Available list.

How to be a senshi

Basically you post in the forums, help users that need help and report scams and just help out Gaia in general.

Then once you're on the team, post here so that we can add you to the list with what you wish to be called (either by your main account's name or just by your GS cast member account username that you are using now for this guild.) in the G.A.I.A. Sailor Scouts guild.

DO NOT create a GS account before talking to [GS] Sailor Uran[us] first! (It makes [GS] Sailor Uran[us]'s job harder if she's trying to keep up with who wants to be who.)

[GS] Sailor Uran[us] is in charge of making sure that their are so that no users that are taking over another GS character and to make sure that the users that want to be a GS cast member have agreed to the rules.

After she agrees then all new GS cast members's main accounts are to PM [GS] Sailor Pluto and GS Neo Sailor Animula with the special password that you'll get from [GS] Sailor Uran[us] so that they can verify and know which of them are in the cast member list.

You must have GS in front of your username, whether you are a senshi/knight/civilian so you can be counted as a part of the G.A.I.A. team.

If you're going to be a senshi having an Elegant Veil (we do hold funds and contests for active senshis that need them) or an Blushing Bride's Embroidered Bodice is a good thing to wear...unless of course your senshi doesn't wear a white bodice like the Inner and Outer senshi or doesn't have an image...then you can make up what their senshi fukus look like. (Using TekTek does help but remember that the layering might not be exact with some items for whatever reason.)

All new members can have their accounts as GS (and then whatever they are named with the rest of their name afterwards).

Example: [GS] Sailor Moon turns into GS Sailor Moon.

For non-senshi characters

Try to find items that match your character's style of dress and if you can't find them all then try your best, you are the only ones who won't need to get an Elegant Veil.

Questions that will be asked of all users that want to be cast members:

- Will you be active in the clan (posting at least twice a week)?
- Are you going to report things that are against the ToS?
- Will you answer questions that any users have?
- Will you help out users if they ask for any?

PM [GS] Sailor Uran[us] all of your answers to the questions and tell her what senshi you want to be. Then when she agrees to what your answers are, you can create your GS cast member account. Then she'll discuss all of what being a GS Cast Member is and the other small details that goes with it as well.

After you've been accepted then be sure to PM [GS] Sailor Pluto and GS Neo Sailor Animula the special password that [GS] Sailor Uran[us] gave you when you were accepted. Please put the password in the PM only! (Don't post it in the guild or give it out.)

Steps to go through to be a GS Cast Member

Part 1:

- PMing me ([GS] Sailor Uran[us]), it's always a good thing.

In the PM, you have to answer all of the questions listed above (it's important not to leave any out, if you don't know what they are then ask me and I'll explain it to you).

Once that's finished and all of the answers are approved by [GS] Sailor Uran[us], you can either choose to be a character (senshi, villian or supporting character) from the Sailor Moon universe (from the anime, manga, PGSM and Sera Myu) or a made up character from your imagination (*Important*: look in the GS Cast Members to find out which ones aren't taken already for the Otaku characters).

If you aren't sure what the characters are about then click on their names, they have a link to all of the detailed information about then. If you still don't know about it then ask me and I'll gladly explain ya about the character that you're confused about.

Part 2:

When you've decided on which character you want to be (made up or otherwise) and it's not taken then you can either create a GS mule account or change your main username.

Then PM [GS] Sailor Pluto and GS Neo Sailor Animula with the password that [GS] Sailor Uran[us] gave you so you can be added to the main GS Cast Member list here.

Categories for GS Cast Members:

Inner senshi/Outer Senshi/Villians - must post twice a week (if not after a month your account will be put on the Available list if you don't have an excuse)

Otaku senshi/supporting characters/SM youmas - post in the official guild when you can, but you must do some good in your account. (for users that are busy but want to be a GS Cast Member).

Don't create GS accounts without telling us, it's not fair to other users that want to be the characters and it really makes our job of keeping track of who's who alot harder. Let's keep the peace.

We will not reserve GS characters, it's a first come service and depends on who will be most suited for their role but everyone is welcomed to try.
