District 78, or more commonly known as Hobotown, is the place of residence of over 70% of the city's population. This ramshakle place is full of decrpit houses, and ruined apartment complexes. Anyone that cannot afford the ludicrous prices to stay in the city, as many tens of thousands can't, lives here until they can scrape up enough money to do so. Although better off than those who live outside of the city walls, these people are still more prone to mutation, about 7% more, having a mutation rate of 21%. There is food and water avilible here, however metals and weapons are scarce. This district used to be called Harlem.

The hobos looked around in awe for a moment, but then ran as fast as they could in all directions. Some hid under various peices of furniture or locked doors, but at any rate the section was completely silent in a matter of mins.

Leo looked around at all the cowering hobos. "What's so amazing about this sword? It's sheathe won't even come off..." He muttered. he pointed the sword at one of the hobos hiding in a grabage can and demanded of him "You there! Tell me what the meaning of this sword is!"

"We do not know!" the hobo wailed in fear "We only know that it may undo us, and that it is to be feared! That blade is less than the sum of it's parts, and yet it is more than it was supposed to be, and is therefore not something that is supposed to be! It is one that is both a form and formless, and it is also alive while dead! Put it away! Put it away! For it's mear preasence chafes our soul!"

"So... this sword holds power..." Leo said outloud to himself. "hmmm..." Leo turned around and swung at the statue behind him.

(Bah, wrong die ><) The sword bounced off the statue, flying out of leo's hand to the ground next to the statue. "Bah, I guess it'll be pretty weak until i figure out how to remove the sheathe..." He mumbled, picking it up off the ground. he examined it once more, and shoved it into his cloak on his back so as not to alarm anymore hobos.

Leo walked to the left of the statue, seeing a manhole. "Hehehe..." He laughes to himself, then opens the manhole cover and jupms down into the sewers.(Moving this rp to the new york sewers)

"Shorn!" Leo whispered as loud as he could. "You there?" Leo stopped walking, as his eyes started to adjust to the dark.

Leo pulled out his Ironclad and swung it in a wide arc around him, panicking.

The blade swung straight through the nodes, disrupting them and cutting them in half. However they simply reformed a few moments later, as well formed as they had been before. Slowly a large black node began to appear just beyond the blade's reach, and it gave the eeirie impression that it was aflame in some sort of black fire.

After only a few feet, Leo had run compleately out of the darkness. However behind him it was not dark, he could clearly see the sun above, and he could make sound normally. Shorn was standing in the middle of the street apparently paralyzed, and a large slow-moving jello-like substance oozed forward slowly.

Leo puts the sword in the back of hsi cloak then pulls the axe out and jumps at the ooze, swinging his axe downwards towards it.
