✖ G A B R I E L ✖ Gabriel of the Black Moon Has Logged OnAfter quickly imputting his username and password, Hawthorn became Gabriel of the Black Moon. On here, he was a legend and a nightmare, knight in shining armor and fearless PKer. This was a place where he was feared and revered, even if no one actually know him by face, but simply by name. However, the first thing that greet Gabriel as he signed on was a flashing icon signifying that he had mail. It blared in his vision until his clicked on it. With a cynical smirk, he read the quick little note.
To: Gabriel of the Black Moon Fr: [xxxxxxx] Subject: Payment
Meet you at Mac Anu at 9PM for payment with [xxxxxx] and [xxxxxx].
TTYL.
Not even bothering to reply to the message, Gabriel went straight on to Mac Anu
Standing at the Chaos Gate, Gabriel looked about the bustling Root town of Mac Anu, the first place he had ever seen in The World. Although the monsters around were much too weak for him, he found enough jobs and such in the area. When he really wanted to work out, Gabriel would normally go to Breg Epona, but he hoped for a slightly relaxing night that night. Many others walking about seemed to enjoy stopping and looking at him. After all, he was quite a sight to see. Tall and pale, dress in black with dark hair to match. A red cross-shaped marking on his left cheek, directly under the left eye. A black bandanna stretched across his eyes, hiding them from the passerbys. Still, he could see them perfectly as they stopped to awe. And that was just his appearence. People would reall awe if they knew the reputation that went with the pretty pixels.
On top of his head, a pair of black wolf ears twitched with all the sound around him. The familiar drone of voice was near, standing just inside of a side alley. Three men, all expecting him, turned as he approached and grinned. They were burly and rough-looking, almost as if they were out to scare and intimidate everyone. Gabriel waved to them with a cheerful smile, which they did not return. It was quite a sight, if anyone had seen them. A tall, dark young man with black wolf ears, and three grotesque bandit-looking men. Gabriel definately did not belong with this crowd. Strictly going off of appearence, anyway.
"We got it done, just like you told us to." One of them said as he held out a hand eagerly; the others followed suit. Gabriel sighed and smiled as he dropped them three bags into each of their greedy little palms, thinking that at least they get their jobs done, like they're suppose to.
"There you go, boys." Gabriel said with a laugh. "You're going to run me right out of gold one of these days."
"Don't lie, Gabriel. We know you're loaded and that you get paid for the work that we do."
"I suppose you're right, but that does not necissarily mean that I need you, now does it?" He said with a shrug. Gabriel withdrew one of his Anubis shivs and pressed it to the throat of one of the men. "I believe that it would be best for you to remember who you are addressing, hmm?" He said with a bright smile. The big man choked out a sound that Gabriel took to be an 'of course' and let him go.
"That goes for all of you now!" Gabriel chirped and waved them off. "I'll be in touch again." Gabriel strode away and smiled. He really wondered if any of the MODs needed any help at that moment, or if any had gotten any leads on the virus issues that have been happening.
Slipping out of the alleyway, Gabriel shoved his hands into his pockets and walked over the bridge. People all around him chatted and interacted with people. He offered them indiscriminate waves and smiled. Stopping at the bridge, he hopped onto the retaining wall and sat there, feeling the breeze play with the ends of his bandana. It was a nice day in Mac Anu. Hopefully it could only get better.

Channing entered Mac Anu for the second time in his character's existence. He appeared in front of the chaos gate, there were a few other players up and about of all different shapes and sizes. "I should look around," He decided. During his last visit he hadn't gotten much of a view of the city as he had headed directly out into the fields. He proceeded from the dome that housed the kiosk, save spot, and the chaos gate and out into the bustling life of Mac Anu.
He didn't take to many steps from the dome until he was on a bridge. It appeared to be a decent runs length, so he took off into a sprint down the bridge, eager to see the city and all of its glory. Of course, he wasn't exactly looking where he was headed, staring off into the waters below the bridge. Eventually he began to turn unknowingly, and crashed into rather scary fellow who looked... not friendly.
"Oh s**t!" Channing thought in the real world. "I'm so sorry he said to the player. "I wasn't seeing where I was going. Please forgive me!" He said, not ready to be killed by another player, he desperately hoped he wouldn't have to anytime soon.

✖ G A B R I E L ✖ The waters running underneath the bridge were clear and blue. No pollution like in the real world. Of course, they were also moving a little fast. So, it was a mighty good thing that Gabriel could swim. He sat on the wall, simply gazing at the water contentedly, when something hard and small smacked into him, sending him careening towards the icy blue water. However, reflexes acting out, he managed to grab hold of the wall, despite the breath being knocked from his lungs and did not have to find out if he could swim through the current or not. He clung there, to the wall by one hand for a second, trying to gather his thoughts. It had been a long time since he had been caught off-guard like that. Of course, he was out in th open in a root town, so he did not have anything to really worry about. No wonder he was caught off guard.
Grabbing the wall with other hand, he hoisted himself up and back over the wall to see a young man bumbling out an apology. Fixing his sleeveless coat with a smile, Gabriel leaned back against the wall and clutched it with both hands on either side of him, just in case. This kid was familiar-looking, though he couldn't guess where. Well, it did not matter.
The white hair was the first thing that he noticed. It was just.. there! Like, BOOM. White hair! And he was short, too. This made Gabriel laugh a little on the inside. "Forgive you for what? Weren't you just crossing the bridge like any eager young man would do?" Gabriel said as he smiled and peered down at the boy. "Oh, but you didn't happen to see a huge gael force rush by, did you? I believe that it caught me off guard and sent me damn near flying into that river."
The poor lad looked absolutely terrified! Gabriel hoped that his little joke would calm the kids nerves. It was an accident. Not like he was going to kill him over it.

"Wow" The player accidently said surprised by the man's acrobatics. He then realized he was probably in serious trouble. "Hehe..." Channing managed to utter. Normally he had more pride, but in this state he didn't stand a chance. His appearance as a child probably helped his cause a bit, not to mention as the most popular character of the Bleach Anime. "I suppose I was just acting a bit childish..." Channing replied, disappointed with the lack of bravery he had just delivered. He took a few steps past the man and stopped. "Sorry bro, I'll let you be then," the teen replied, preparing to walk away and see the rest of the town, but being cutrious enough to wait for a reply.

✖ G A B R I E L ✖ Skittish. Very skittish. Gabriel offered the boy a smile and nodded his head. The kid almost got him all wet. That usual constitutes an I.O.U. Gabriel moved from the wall and grabbed the kid by the arm. "I can tell that you're pretty new around here, am I right?" But before the kid could answer, Gabriel shrugged. "It doesn't matter if i'm right or not, I guess. But, hey, you almost caused an accident, and I think that constitutes a favor."
Stopping for a moment, Gabriel seemed to stare up at the sky, keeping a tight grip on the boy's arm. After awhile, he turned his head back towards the short young man. "Well, I don't have anything right now, but you'll be sure to know when I do. Don't worry, i'll find you." Although said with a cheerful and friendly smile, there was a touch of something worth worrying about beneathe it. A mask of kindness over his inner sadism. Gabriel released him and waved, bending slightly with the wind.
Leaving the boy on the bridge, he walked in the direction of the spell shop. It was time to stock up. He had his magic and such, but you could never have too many speed scrolls. Gabriel scratched behind his wolf ear a bit as he moved along. He wondered if that new kid had noticed his strange little accessory. That being his ears. After all, he was a hidden class. A Werewolf class is not exactly common. Walking up to the NPC store owner, he smiled. These NPCs were programmed with such realistic personalities. This one was a female, with which he flirted profusely. She was just an NPC after all. It was just for fun.
"Good morning, Neela."
"Good morning Gabriel of the Black Moon." She said in her happy tone.
"Shh..." He said, putting a finger to his lips. "Keep it down love. Don't want users to get excited, you know."
"Of course, sir. What will you have today?"
"Besides your lovely company? Well, I am here to restock on speed scrolls. It's only been a month, and I went through ninety-five of my ninety-nine."
"So would that be ninety-five scrolls, sir?" She asked, and began pulling out the scrolls.
"Of course! Umm, just give me ten and put the rest in my box, would you?" Gabriel put his card on the counter for her to scan and deduct his money as he pocketed the speed scrolls. Also, he flashed another card. His guild card. Being the Captain of NOA had it's perks, including HUGE discounts. Sure, he missed being the innocent little new kids like that boy he had seen earlier. He wondered what that kid could possibly be doing. Hopefully he would take someone with him before he went exploring. After all, it was getting quite dangerous out there...

"Who was that?" Channing asked as the strange character left him on the bridge, stunned and shocked... "A favor? What did he mean?" Realizing that questioning himself would lead no where, Channing headed towards the town. After all there was still much to see. However, Chaning was unprepared for the bazaar he was about to enter. Guilds shops all calling out to him and other players advertising their wears. He could hardly keep up!
"Ahhhh!" he finally called out, running through the market and down an ally way. "This game," he said to himself, "IS AMAZING!" He finally decided he was going to dedicate all of his time to this game and its wonders. With that in mind his first goal was to... Wait... "Um... what do I do now?" He could only ponder. "Perhaps that strange man could tell me? But he didn't leave me his member address, so how do I contact him? He said he'd find me..." Channing shuddered at the thought. None of the players around seemed very nice so the newb headed threw the alleyway and found himself at the docks.
He sat down at the edge of the artificial ocean front and stared off, flipping through his game guide in real life in search of what to do.

[Braile] Has Logged On
Braile was overwhemed with excitement, He just finished designing his character. "Ok now time to log in" he said to himself as he was typing rapidly to log in.
Login: Braile Password: *******
"Welcome to the World, We hope you enjoy" a womans voice said.
Everything got bright for a second, so Braile closed his eyes. When he opened them it was like he never left the real world. "Wow this place is amazing" He said his eyes almost popping out of his head. Everything was beautiful and it was more than real. There were tons of players running back and forth and interacting with each other. Braile began walking to learn the new enviroment that surrounded him. Braile walked up to a player that was standing by him. The player was a girls must be a Flick Reaper, she had a massive scythe in her right hand.
"Excuse me, could you tell me where the Chaos Gate is?" He asked
She turned and faced him with a smile on her face, even though she seemed friendly, the scythe kind of gave her a fierce look.
"Yes I can, you go up to where you appeared when you logged in, and its right there." She said and gave him one last smile before turning to continue her conversation with the group of players she was standing in.
Braile instantly turned around and retraced his steps back to where he appeared so that he can visit his first Area. "I cant wait till I get a chance to fight some monsters" he thought to himself as he continued his way up a set of steps. Braile arrived to his destination, the Chaos Gate. He then started entering words to find a Area that is good for his level.

The newbie stood up, he realized that there was a map with different symbols on his screen. After pressing a few buttons he pulled up a larger map with a key that told him what the symbols represented. "Let's see," He said to himself deciding what he should go buy. He decided first he would head to the kiosk, which was the right by the chaos gate.
Instead of walking he headed to the warp point, which transfered him on accident to the mercenaries section. "Woops," Channing admitted to himself, deciding to look around he visited a nearby building which sold magic attacks, magic books, and some items. "Hello, I was wondering what are some good items for new players?"
The item keeper spoke up, "Well you'll probably want some like fairy orbz bro , and some smoke screens for when you run away like a baby!" He laughed at his own joke.
The magic salesman added, "Excuse my partner, he is retarded. He did suggest two good items though, and maybe some healing potion, SP potions too! Oh and a return wing, so you can leave a dungeon much easier."
Channing didn't thank the NPCs, he figured it was just in the script to tell him what to buy. He bought the items they suggested and headed off towards the warp point again, this time making sure to port to the Dome. There he entered the Chaos Gate room and saved his data before heading out on an adventure. What area words to select? He pondered, scrolling throw the few combinations he had available to him.

✖ G A B R I E L ✖ After making his enormous purches, Gabriel bit the NPC a good day and strode off. Mac Anu had such a quaint little atmosphere, but it was almost too traditional for his tastes. He wanted to kill something, and not just by one hitting it. Actually, with all his missions and running around, he hadn't actually done any leveling up in a long time. Not like he needed too, but there was nothing wrong with wanting to be stronger. Gabriel strode towards the Chaos Gate and passes a group of players. One grabbed him by the end of his coat and smiled.
"Excuse me." She said cheerfully.
"What can I do for you, love?" He said, turning to her and peering downwarrds.
"Could you tell me where you got that upgrade? The ears, I mean?" She said it with such sincerity, Gabriel almost told her about his class. Almost.
"They were a special event item, m'dear. I'm afraid the only way to get them would to buy them off of a player who has them, and I am sorry to say, but I am not selling."
"Oh, thanks anyway!" She said. Gabriel smiled. She reminds me of that one player ages ago. Junpei. He mused. It was a case of a mission gone bad. He had been assigned by the MODs to take him out as a suspected PKer. Gabriel had become friends with him, or at least pretended to become friends with him. Junpei was always acting so innocent and curious, with a genuinie smile on his face. However, he fell prey to the mysterious virus before Gabriel had a chance to take him out. Gabriel still got paid for it, of course. They figured he had killed him, but if he had, Junpei would have come back. He hadn't.
Sighing, Gabriel strode confidently up to the Chaos Gate. There were two other people there. Another new kid and... his skittish little friend. What a coincidence. Gabriel figured he would have gone a long time ago, spooked by Gabriel and his strange little quirks. He stood and observed as the two tried to pick appropriate keywords that would take them to simple fields.

"Hmm," Channing continued to look through as the gyro spun presenting him with his different work combinations. He was just about to select his next area, then something of an intuition hit him. Like when you know when someone is looking at you from behind. He exited the chaos gate menu and turned around to see the player he had almost drowned before.
"You!" The young player called out, surprised by the fact a few people actually turned to look at him yelling. Realizing it was probably best to not make a scene, he quieted his voice and stepped towards his target. "Who are you exactly? You look different than most of the other players I've seen today. And what did you mean by a favor? I mean why shouldn't I simply refuse and helping you and continue on my way?" He fired after the questions in quick succession, wanting to get all he had to say out before the man could interrupt him. Which he knew he very well may.

✖ G A B R I E L ✖ When the young man spun around and shouted an accusing "You!" at Gabriel, he feigned ignorance. Pointing to himself with a confused little smile, gabriel looked from side to side and waved a bit, staying silent as such a long distance. People stared, but quickly went back to their business. The little boy quicly closed the distance between them until he was standing within a resonable talking distance. He was quite amusing, this one. Gabriel crossed his arms and opened his mouth to speak, but the little guy beat him to it. A barrage of questions assaulted his ears as the young boy tried to seem threatening and make as if he wasn't afraid.
What a cute kid. Gabriel grinned. "My, my, and you think you've got it all figured out, don't you?" He said. "My identity isn't important. I don't go about dill-dally giving out my name and member address, you know."
Getting a closer look at the kid, Gabriel invaded his personal space and peered close. "But, you seem to be a very perspective little guy, i'll give you that. You're right, of course. I am different from the other players. Especially if by different, you mean far more talented, attractive, and dangerous. Then I would have to say, you hit the nail right on the head laddo."
Gabriel liked this kid. He was so blatant and straighforward. Maybe he'd play with him a little longer. "Now, boy, I know you are knew to The World, right? Well, i'll let you in on a little secret, but it is quite hush hush." Gabriel said, wrapping an arm around his shoulders and pulling him close so that he could whisper. "There are certain people in The World who have access to vasts amounts of information, such as your member address and character data. You should always be careful who you're trying to intimidate or push into a river, savvy?"
With a playful grin, Gabriel released the new kid and tucked his arms behind his head. Hackers. Gabriel knew plenty of them. Of course, this kid probably thought he was one as well, but there wasn't anything he could do about it. Reporting him would do no good. He worked with the Moderators, after all.

"You think I'm new? I've been playing since you were getting called a noob, sir" Channing bluffed, resisting the mans grip around him. "You're nothing more than a blind folded big talker who gets his kicks messing with people he thinks are new. You don't scare me, just because you won some event for some dog ears? Scary? No, Repulsive, most definitely ," Channing of course was having a blast. He loved a good argument.
"And even if you did have access to that information, like you suggest, knowledge is useless in the hands of the mentally ill, such as yourself," Of course after his ego subsided Channing figured he had probably just signed a death sentence. He knew very well this character was not bluffing about having some sort of power. But he always thought it was better to fight and lose than run in fear.
Channing crossed his arms, and rolled his eyes at the man and all of himself. He was quiet the look, perhaps even being able to bypass system parameters? But that was doubtful. There was no way a guy like this had any sort of real power.

Cobra Has Logged On To: Cobra Fr: Shimms the Great Subject: [No Subject]
Hey, do you wanna like, go out some time? You know??? ; )
Call me, Babe. (***-****)
Hotaru smirked, knowing today was going to be a great day, even though the arena wasn't doing anything special. The emails she had gotten today had been all similar to the first one. But she would never call any of them or do anything to them, because of her love. The girl fixed her M2D, exiting out of her emails to the main menu.
Within a matter of seconds, Cobra was teleportining into the chaos gate areas of Mac Anu. The sultry Tribal Grappler waited until the the light blue light disappeared from around her, before advancing. She placed a hand on her hip, before she exited the room to the main square. She could see the eyes watching her scantily-clad self, but she carried herself with confidence that most girls only dream to have. Sometimes, she wondered why the creators of The World would even dare let a character look like this. But she didn't care. Cobra loved being who she was.
The Tribal Grappler character was from the Lei Lei tribe, an animal-esque human that carried the characteristics of a fox. Every step she took within the virtual city made her tail swish from side to side in accordance to her hips. Cobra was a virtual "sexpot." Cobra smiled as she walked up to the NPC, knowing their never changing expressions well. "Hello there, darling. Could I get twelve sprite drops?" She asked, flashing her card. She had a bountiful amount of cash, only because of one of her former weapon's abilities: double the amount of money gained from battle. It was amazing.
"Thank you for your patronage. Have a nice day."
With a swift turn, the girl just took her items and her card, her tail sweeping behind her. Cobra paused for a moment, checking who was online out of her possibly party members, however, to her luck, no one was. So, in her mind, it was time to go train some newbies or find some more experienced players for some free exp. Cobra's tanned skin shone beautifully in the sun of Mac Anu, the root town for the Delta Server. She wondered when the newest root town would be unlocked for her, but at level fifteen, she probably still had a long way to go.
Cobra walked over to the transport, picking the alchemy district as her destination. "I wonder what's going on here, today." She mused. The fire around her ankles burned on and on, not hurting her in the least. She had recently gotten that acccessory, and loves them dearly, knowing they add to her appearance. Her foxlike ears twitched as she disappeared from the area over to the her desired district. Everything was so busy and loud, she wanted to just go into a secluded area now, but that wouldnt be any different. The noise in an area would just be from rival monsters.
A tap on her shoulder brought her back into reality. Another guy. "Hey, do you want to go on some adventure or something?" He asked, a toothy grin visable. "I sent you that email. I'm Shimms the Great. Nice to meet you." He just stared down at her, his hulking, beastly form not appealing in any way.
"Sorry, dear. But I have some plans. So, I suggest you layoff..." She almost growled out. Cobra despised guys who loved to harass her in an online game, or in reality. If this guy didn't leave right now, she was ready to pull out her gauntlets and take this guy out. No matter the levels, Cobra would try to destroy him.
"Come on, I'm probably better than anyone you already have plans with. I mean, really. I'm Shimms the Great!"
That was it. No, she didn't actually have plans, but Cobra wouldn't stand for this guy's arrogance or ugliness any longer. With a swift turn, she smiled. But that smile led her her fist in his gut, and another one in his face. But that wasn't just a fist, her gauntlets helped to a little damage, adding extra burn to the hit. "I said no." Cobra didn't waster her time, she just walked toward the bridge, her gauntlets disappearing. "Have a nice day," She called, waving her hand as she went along with her own business.

✖ G A B R I E L ✖ So, right next to 'Skittish', Gabriel added 'Risky' and 'Full of Bull'. All he could do was smile at the boy, that wicked knowing smile. It was so funny, but then again, if it had been anyone else, this kid might have been killed. He really ought to know how to talk to certain people. It was a good thing he ran into this kid after all; he might be able to teach him a lesson or two. "Wow. Big shot, huh? You definately know what you're talking about. Why, you sound confident, I bet that you are a real high ranking player in the Arena, right? You must be that Gabriel of the Black Moon guy everyone is talking about. Or even that Haseo guy, right?"
Gabriel took a step back and began circling the boy and getting a good look at him. "Wow, you know, you're right. You must be high leveled. I'm absolutely sure you've been playing longer than I have, I mean, look at that armor. Don't think i've ever seen anything like it. Your character design is top notch, most definately. And me? Why, I am just as stupid as you thought I was. Everyone here can see that you must be the leader of a Guild. Tell me, what is your guild called?"
Wonder what would happen if the kid took the bait? If he said that he was indeed Gabriel, then this would be just too much fun. Then again, if he said that he didn't even know who Gabriel was, then he could use it his advantage. Either way, it was a win-win situation. Gabriel managed to take a screenshot and store it into his memory for later use. If this kid didn't end up giving his name, then he would be able to get it from using the screenshot. Really, this was all too much fun.
Suddenly, a loud noise caught his attention. The ears on the top of his head twitched to the right. He hoped that the new kid didn't see that. Items didn't just twitch on their own, after all. Whatever the loud noise was, it was far from the Chaos Gate. Somewhere else in Mac Anu, he was sure. Well, it did not matter to him. Wasn't like he could do anything about it, since he was so far away anyway. Turning back to the boy in front of him. Well, he would need to be leaving soon, if this kid didn't take him up on the challenge.
