Ares, the God of warfare, is a half-brother of Athena. Once Zeus called Athena and Ares putting a shield and a spear in front of them. He told them to choose one of the things. Ares took the spear and Athena took the shield. Being afraid of Ares's evil intentions, Zeus let Athena protect the Earth. Time came when Ares decided to take what "belongs to him". Together with his companions - Phobos and Deimos - he is planning to come to the Sanctuary where, for now, everyone is living peacefully and trying to forget the fights between them and Hades's Specters. Will Athena's saints be able to protect her and all humanity once again? Ares - Marynchan Phobos - Mollysa Deimos - Yume_no_Mirror

The saint was standing in his temple, looking outside. His eyes were watching the clouds above the Sanctuary, but his thoughts were even further. It was really a miracle that they were all here together once again. With these thoughts he let out a deep sigh. He heard quiet steps coming closer.
"Mu-sama, is everything alright..?" A soft yet worried voice interrupted the queen silence that ruled the temple.

Slowly walking around his own temple the saint closed his eyes. Stopping for a moment to sigh he lifted his face up as sun rays fell on his frame. A sigh left the frowning lips and his eyes slowly opened. He still couldn't believe it was over. All those fights they went through. What more the gold saint couldn't believe was them all. The Athena saints were all alive and happily continuing their lives. It was a miracle. There was no other word for this. "A miracle indeed." A low whisper disappeared into the thin air as grass danced along the wind and green eyes gazed into the distance.

"Yes, everything is... fine." After answering the girl's question, the gold saint of Aries closed his eyes and was quiet for some time. "It's just some memories." He listened to the wind as if it was talking. As if it was telling some story which made the saint open his eyes once again. It indeed would be better to just forget everything. But it is said that people cannot live without memories. And this is true.

Phobos was sitting in barely lit room grinning. Soon, oh so very soon, they will be traveling to earth to fight saints and get what rightfully belonged to Ares. The god of war was still thinking about the strategies so he had nothing much to do. He wouldn't bother to think about it, he's just going to do whatever he was told. And that would be kill and no survivors should be left. The warrior smirk to himself. It'll be piece of cake. The devilish grin appeared on his face as he crushed the empty glass he was holding for hours now.

"you should just let it go... there is no reason to dwell on the past, Saga. after all, the future alone is all that matters.." it is hopeless. no matter how hard one tries to find peace, old memories haunting one's soul will never allow it to happen. his friend was a prove of it. the pain, the suffering they all went through were all clearly painted of his face, in his eyes, even in his thoughts. even though it was a bright sunny day, his mind seemed to be clouded by the same feeling of guilt like weeks ago when they were... no, it is enough.

Saga closed his eyes and smiled. A 'heh' left his lips. "Indeed. The future alone." The green eyes opened once again and gazed into the distance. "Sometimes I do wonder, my friend, what the future is holding for us." Sometimes he would wonder what future did hold for them. Was it the peace or more fights? He loved looking into the past to remember mistakes and if the new battle occurred he would use the the knowledge to his advantage.

"This time, Athena, my 'dear' sister, you won't fool anyone. I will get what belongs to me." Ares clenched his fist and hit a mirror he was looking at, and made it shatter on the ground. Turning around, he went to his throne in a dark room and sat down. They indeed had to wait at least a few more days and only then start showing up in the Sanctuary. But if he could, he would go straight to his half-sister to have a 'little' talk. It isn't so easy to wait when one is burning with anger. But soon... very soon they will meet once again. "I hope you are waiting." A smirk appeared on Ares face as he slowly closed his eyes.
"The future is still undecided. It is us who will make it happen and it depends only on our taken steps. There may be different ways, that's why noone knows what will happen." as the saint slowly came out of the shadows, he looked at both - Saga and Shaka - and smiled softly. He was a bit surprised though to see the Virgo saint here too. Well, after all Saga was the pope of the Sanctuary earlier. He's the oldest one here and he knows what he's doing. Everyone always depends on him.

"The past will choose the future." He turned with a smirk on his face to two of his friends. Shaka and Mu. Even thou Saga was surprised to see his friends here, in his temple, he was glad none the less. At moments like this he needed to be alone, but also - to have some company. It was refreshing, yet he did wonder why those two came here. Were they worried? Were they lonely too? Well he wouldn't ask them that. The reasons were not needed anyway.

The Holy War was over. The good side won and, as a reward, all Saints were back. Even Aioros, who he had missed so much. Yes, Aiolia had missed his brother very much, but he got an earful when he found out about what he did during his teenage years... Not go to the meetings, dye his hair bright red and often not wearing his cloths; just many of the things he did when he was rebellious.
But he was happy.
"That's life..." he said to himself, smiling.

Standing up from his chair he walked up to the halls and did wonder what to do. Walking up to the window he looked down at Earth and smirked. "Soon, very soon, you will belong to Ares." He laughed out loud with insane look on his face. Phobos could already see the destruction. He could already taste the war. He saw what was to happen in a near future. Oh, how he hated to wait. But few more days, just few more and he will unleash all his power on Athena and her saints. As this thought crossed his mind he started to laugh. The insane laugh echoed in the halls disturbing peace and quiet.

"You may be right in a way." Some things that happened in the past might have a huge effect for the future, noone knows what might happen. But that's life, isn't it? It's always full of surprises. Sometimes sad ones, sometimes happy... why did he start to think about those things anyway..? As Mu smiled, he lowered his head down a bit.

From behind a pillar, he watched the exchange with a bemused smile, more than a little amused at his brother's behavior and maybe even a little envious. It had been so easy for the others to forgive Saga his sins and let him return, and on some level he was glad for his twin. He did not long for their companionship as Saga did, but he would not have denied himself the pleasure, were it available. Yet he settled for watching from a distance, dodging his brother and the other Gold Saints. Somehow, miraculously, he had managed to dodge Saga since their return, hardly an easy feat considering they lived in the same temple, but then it was equally possible that Saga had been avoiding Kanon, too.

Saga smirked at Mu's words and looked back into the distance. It was clearly written on his face that there was something Saga longed for and yet... At this single thought he lowered his face down and smiled somewhat a sad smile. Something was missing, but he was not blaming anyone. He was grateful to saints that stood here right next to him. The granted new beginning shall try to erase the past or at least make it slightly fade away.

"What ever it might be, we shall all embrace it with our arms wide open. after all, the experience we have gathered in the past, the mistakes we made and learned from, the joy and the pain we have felt once had led us to what we have now... and what is still to come", even though a weak smile was visible on his pale face, those words did sound with a certain sadness in them. Even though they all have been trying to cope with the past and re-build what they once have broken, for some of them the shame was still unbearable. Time heals all wounds..? Perhaps. With his eyes half closed the saint threw a glance at the shadowed corner letting out a generous sigh. Perhaps... Indeed...
