This is where resistance leaders and advisiors meet, to confence and the current leader Shikamaru's home. In the main Council Chambers, are comfortablely situated. There are many seats for council members and military advisor's to sit around a large wood table. Shikamaru has a large study and home within the Headquarters along with many of his Advisors due to the cramped living spaces that many of the villagers endure.

Taelos sat just inside of the entrance to the room. he yawned widely. he was used to doing things, and not only was the lack of action making him tired, the heat was getting to them. it was at a warm 30 degrees, and it made him sleepy. he really wanted the others to get here, since he wanted to know what he could do. He really wanted something to do!

Shikamaru tiredly walked into the room and looked at Taelos,"Yo,Taelos man this Leader stuff is a drag, I just 'talked' a few Ameigakure members into forgetting they saw me recruiting in their territory. If we weren't so short handed I'd make someone else go do it but people willing to give up a normal life and fight the Akatsuki don't just fall from the sky." Shikamaru falls backward onto his desk, a strange habit of his, in order to look out of the sky light to see the clouds." Even with all we know of Pein's ninjutsu thanks to Naruto and Jiraya its still not enough, what do you think?" Shikamaru says jokingly to the strange Resistance member.

He shrugged. "It was an easy choice for me to join. I had no home, and i hate the Akatsuki. But for others, who have homes, and family? they don't find it as easy." he thought for a moment, his sightless gaze in the direction of Shikamaru. "as for Pein, i don't know. the spies i have say that he's strong. one other thing. he know's some powerful summoning justu. what kind, they could tell me."

Shikamaru smiled," I have plenty of info on his summonings don't worry yourself about that, you have a mission, I am sending you to the heart of the Akatsuki, go to the village and find out everything you can, do what ever is possible without endangering yourself, Pein's rain ninjutsu can detect you if you go in there without protection, send in a summon or scout, ready yourself and return in one hour to let me know your leaving, that is all."

he sighed. "great. Aura won't like it, but i'll send in scouts. how long till i should return? or is there a time limit on that?" he smiled to himself.

" You will report back in one week keep your more aggresive activity to a minimum so as to not give yourself away." Shikamaru sighed, " don't put youself in danger just go and get it and come back, if your mission turns sour use this scroll to summon me, I will pop out of the scroll when you open it and it will cast a sleeping genjutsu so hold it away from yourself," Shikamaru handed him a Heaven Scroll from the chunin exams when he was young," Take this and keep it safe remember hold it away from yourself. Ready your self and report here when your done.

he nodded, sighing. "all right. i'll keep a low profile. mind sending this letter to my home again?" he tossed a letter on the table. "In the mountains, remember." he turned and vanished.

Shikamaru sighed as Taelos left, this was just like him, sent on a mission while Hewas left with the laundry. Shikamaru twirled the letter around in his hands for a bit while waiting for his most important visitors.

Takari paused in front of a pair of really buryly soldiers who were gaurding shikamaru's office. They didn't let her inside even though she was a trusted member of the resistance. Takari sighed before comming up with a very interesting, method of getting to shikamaru.
She knew regular soldiers didn't have much jutsu experieance and smiled. She touched both gaurds on the arms and they immideately found themselves looking at a double of takari though takari wasn't there. She then pushed open the door and snuk inside. the gaurds were too distracted by the genjutsu takari to notice anything. She admiring her own brillance as she entered she ran smack into somebody.

"good job getting past the guards, they really need to become better with genjutsu," Shikamaru chuckled as he released the jutsu upon them," so Takari I'm glad you arrived, whats up?"

Takari jumped and blushed a little getting caught by shikamaru. "ohh....thank you." She said embarassed by the fact she had been caught by the leader. "I was hoping to get an instructor..." She said feeling embarassed, still. "And possibly fight." She said suddenly becoming serious and angered, it was known that she was anxious to fight Akatsuki though very few knew why.
Most people were highly protective of gennin which she knew but she was still anxious to fight the akatsuki and prove her own worth. Takari was known to have her mood changes like tsunade the fith hokage, but she also had sasuke's anger and emotions when it came to akatsuki.

" A fight you say? that is much to troublesome, Ii could instruct you a little though, my main purpose of the day is over, I'll lead you on a little in the caverns in a moment I just need to notify these to idiots that the person they were trying to keep out was really an illusion, really good help is so hard to find." Shikamaru talks quietly to the guards and they look at him emmbarassed by their failings," to think a genin could waltz right between them, your pretty good at that." Shikamaru smiled and walked towards the door she just exited, " well I guess I could go on training you seeing as I've got little better to do. Guards tell the young man who was just here to meet me at the training grounds, lets go." Shikamaru motioned towards the young woman as he started walking lazily towards the caverns.

Shikamaru sat down upon his desk and watched the clouds go by for a while envious of their peaceful existence, after a while he nodded off to sleep on top of some papers he should have been filling out.
