[Zefrayus]

In the land of Zectillia, wiled and free, live the Eshtonus, Lords of flame consecrated by Eshthamos Dragon God of fire. the race itself is failing due to recklessness and ill fate. hated by normal men due to the power given freely to them. most are hidden amonge men, hidding there heritage for fear of there lives. many still live with the elves, age long friends of the family of fire. on high they look to the Gods, wishing only for peace.

7.The Eshtonus, family of fire, for the most part look like normal humans. slightly pointed ears and a quick temper ane normally traits of the Eshtonus, along with black or red eyes (but not always) and long darker colored hair.

Race: Eshtonus

Weapons and equipment: Short silver sword, Long wooden white staff, long weathered brown cape, Lithium plated mail.
Powers and special abilities: High level fire magic and some bane magic. Teleportation bursts.
Appearance:average hight, short black hair with a grey head band, no facial hair
Personality: serious with an air of sarrow.
Bio: Born in Orvon, Zectillia 30th year of the first age. his father was killed when Zefrayus was young and his mother fled to Berevallon. Zefrayus grew cold, yet was compasionate to those in need. by the time he was 17 his second home was sacked by the red elves and his mother killed. he then roamed the wiled serching for a reason.

Black was the night, storming as if the last great day. Three armed orcs circled a lonely ranger standing ready, only a short sword to defend. in an instant one of the orcs lunged forward, sword raised high. But nimbly Zefrayus evaded the assault. with a shout Zefrayus lashed out with his brand tearing the assailant asunder. now the other orcs rush forward at once at Zefrayus. the first attack Zefrayus dodged, tripping the attacker. the second blow he glanced to the side and countered with a slash to the back. at this moment the last orc regained his footing only to see Zefrayus's blade to his thought. "Back to hell with you demon!" shouted Zefrayus. with a quick movement Zefrayus lobed of the head of his final assailant.

Zefrayus headed north making his way to Zeltena castle. As he walked down the beaten path he saw two Grey Elves talking on the side of the road.
"Hail friends." said Zefrayus to the strange elves. the two Elves look over Zefrayus and without a word resumed there conversation.
"is this the way to Zeltena Castle?" asked Zefrayus
"Yea it is young ranger" Started one of the elves "the castle lies strait ahead."
"thank you." replied Zefrayus with a smile and continued on his way. After two leagues Zefrayus came to a barren plain and in the center was a long castle as far as the eye could see. Zefrayus made his way up the path to the main gate of the great castle on which he knocked on loudly with his staff.
"Who goes there?" came a voice from behind the gate.
"It is master Zefrayus of Orvon" replied Zefrayus "I seek lodging for the night."
"Alright Zefrayus." came the voice in reply "Welcome to Zeltena Castle  

[Zefrayus]

Zefrayus walked through the gate to be greeted by a tall blond haired man, lightly armoured with a long silver sword at his side.
"Enjoy your stay" the man said smiling.
"Thank you" replied Zefrayus who continue through the gate.
Zefrayus came to a dank and dimly lit streets, filth of all kinds on either side of the street. Zefrayus made his way down the streets until he came to a red building with a sign that read "The Black Dragon". And Zefrayus entered the building

Inside were many men were marry making and drinking sake, entertained by she elf dancers. Zefrayus walked to the barkeep and asked "has a man come here asking for Zefrayus?"
"yes" replied the barkeep "just a minute ago. i belive he took a seat some where over there" the barkeep said pointing to the ferthermost corner of the room. in the corner booth, half shaded by shadow was a figure clade in a long stygian cloak, embroidered with red thread in the shapes of flames. a small corner of his face exposed to the light reavling a pale face with long red locks. Zefrayus walked over to the corner and took a seat next to the person.
"Helloa' master Zefrayus" said the man with a coy smile.
"Helloa' Enoki" replied Zefrayus.
"Are you ready to go?" asked Zefrayus.
"yes I am. really i think we should have left sooner"
"I dont see why. you shades are so curious"
Enoki smiled at hearing this
"let us depart" said Enoki, now a look of fear on his face.  

[Zefrayus]

Zefrayus looked to where Enoki was staring and saw a tall heavly robed figure. it's feet were shrouted in a black mist two slited blue eyes glared out at the people in the bar. no features could be seen but the two gleaming eyes pearing out. The sight of this new comer filled Zefrayus with dread.
"what is that?" asked Zefrayus trying to keep his voice from quivering.
"i dont know, but it's been fallowing me for three days." Answered Enoki "we have to get out of here"
"but it guarding the door" protested Zefrayus
"i see that. we're going to have to find another way out"
"there's a back door, but i dont know hove we are going to get out unoticed"
"i don't belive we can" said Enoki "im gonna make a run for it."
"Hold for me" replied Zefrayus  

[Zefrayus]

the two rose from there seats and begane to walk twards the back
"dont run until he seen us" whispered Enoki
"alright" replied Zefrayus
as Zefrayus and Enoki walked closer and closer to the bar Enoki suddenly stopped short and Zefrayus ran into him
"what are you doing!" said Zefrayus trying to keep his voice down Enoki just stood there as if paralized. Zefrayus looked over to there persuer, and to Zefrayus's suprize was glaring strate at Enoki.
"Danmit!" shouted Zefrayus giving Enoki a shove. imediantly Enoki recuparated
"what the hell happend!" cried Enoki
"no time! Run!!" shouted Zefrayus
quickly Enoki sprang forward over the bar and ran swiftly to the rear of the building, Zefrayus close on his heals. the two burst through the back door into muddy back streets. without hestating Enoki bolted off the the right
"hang on!" shouted Zefrayus running forward
"this way to the hourses!" came the reply
Zefrayus slowly caught up to Enoki who came to a stable. in ran Enoki who soon returned with two horses
"quick, jump on!" shouted Enoki
Zefrayus nimbly jumped on the back of the unladen horse and began galoping off the the north with Enoki soon after. looking back Zefrayus caught sight of the black figure coming 'round the corner. the two exited the castle through the north gate and fallowed the road.

"i think we should leave the road" said Zefrayus
"why?" asked Enoki
"those things will be looking for us on the road, and when you dont want to be found dont be where your looked for"
"i see. we're comming up on a swamp soon. we'de be able to cut through it and save some tima any way"
"then lets do that" replied Zefrayus
The two fallowed the road for about two miles and came the a swamp the two reluctiantly entered the dark swamp.

Zefrayus and Enoki traveled through the swamp North East for four leagues until they came again to the road on which they continued. They fallowed the road for five miles and came to a small walled in town
"let us stay the night, so tomorrow we may start anew" said Enoki
Zefrayus nodded silently. The two stayed the night in the town Orvon where they slept peacefully. In the morning Enoki awoke early in the morning and seeing Zefrayus sleeping he chose not to wake him. Enoki left his room in the inn and was walking out the door to take a walk when he was stopped by the inn keeper
"Sir" started the innkeeper
"Yes" replied Enoki
"earlier this morning a man came and asked if you were here. I told him you weren't to be safe. I just thought you'd want to know."
"Thank you kind sir" replied Enoki a look of interest on his face "could you describe the man to me?" asked Enoki
"well sir im not so sure he was a man, to tell you the truth he gave me quite a chill in the blood if you fallow me. He was tall and wore a black garb, and hade piercing blue eyes, I couldn't see his face though beggin' you pardon"
"Thank you, you've given me all the information I needed to hear" said Enoki softly.  

[Zefrayus]

Enoki rushed back to his room only to find there pursuer looming over Zefrayus's sleeping form
"Blackguard Daemon!" shouted Enoki, waking Zefrayus. Enoki quickly drew forth a long dagger from his cloak and prepared to fight the demon. Zefrayus rolled over out of his bed and grabbed his blade form his sheath and drew the blade with a cold ring. The demon stood still, his gleaming eyes staring out aimlessly.
"What do we do?" asked Zefrayus
"Zefrayus" said the demon, and evil gleam in hid eyes
"what the hell did you say?" Shouted Zefrayus
Swiftly Zefrayus lunged toward the demon and wildly lashed out only to be thrown to the ground by the defender. At this Enoki drove his brand forward piercing the demon's side. With a shriek the demon wrenched the blade from his side and clamped his gaping wound

Anjeanette comes to a small town. She is tierd and hungry. with only a bit of money she finds a place to stay and ties her horse in the hotels barn. already she sence that something evil is around. she draws her sword and looks around her" i know your here" she sees something from the corner of her eye run behind her. as she turns around she sees it again. withought thinking she runs towards the shadow and strikes at it but misses. the figure dissapears."i'll just wait for you then" she enters the hotel were an old woman escorts her to a room. "thank you"

anjeanette is not able to go to sleep. as she waits for sleep to take over she lays in bed. a horrible sound comes from down the hall like a wild screaming pig. she puts on her boots and runs down the hall way. she opens a door and sees 2 men, one with black hair, and the black figure. "you actually got him!" she looks at the figure and studies its wonds

Suprized Zefrayus rose up from the figure sword at the ready
"who are you!?" demanded Zefrayus eyeing the she elf
"and what relationship do you have with this fell demon?" asked Enoki
