The room you have been lead into is quite plain and lacks adornments of any kind (save for several padded chairs reserved for the masters' use only), but several majestic windows spanned the entire length of the stone wall bathing the room in the jungle light and vitality. After a brief stay at the hallway that connects the Jedi and Sith temples, the two Masters decided to invite the students to a more intimate location to discuss one of, if not the most pivotal decisions they would have to make.

Access to the Council Room is primarily reserved for the highest ranking Jedi Masters, except for special occassions such as this.

"Welcome to the Council Room," the tall Toruga woman says as you enter the room. "We are glad to see that you all have settled in, but there remains pressing bussiness at hand. The first thing we will do here is answer any questions you might have about each temple and what will happen to you. Then, once your curiosity is satisfied, we will ask you to choose a Temple." The regal woman bowed her head ever so slightly. "It is not an easy decision, and I beg you not to take it lightly. The answer you give us will affect your method of training and entire being."

The stumpy man humphed once before stepping forward and replacing his coworker. "Of course, we can't let all of you little monsters choose the same Temple. It wouldn't be right at all - totally unbalanced, and as you will learn, balance is what we are all about. We'll let you choose for yourselves who is to be in what Temple, but if a compromise can not be made, we will step in and fix the problem.

"But back to the first order of business," he says to you, "Questions. You've got them, and we've got the answers. Don't hold anything back, and ask away." The elder man paused for a moment as he tapped his wooden cane on the stone floor beyond his feet. "However," He continued in a gruff tone, "Keep in mind that this entire gathering has been arranged for the primary purpose of choosing your alignment: Jedi or Sith. Please be timely in making your decision as it would benefit us greatly."

Korvo, who'd come running after the droid after his spat with Kailey, bit his lip, still catching his breath slightly from the angry sprint. His intitial, still upset reaction would have been to burst out that he wanted to be whatever Kailey was not, but as he worked to calm down, he knew that firstly, he'd probably be scolded for making a choise that way, and second, if she really was in the Jedi path......
Rather than answer immediately as a result, he looked around to see what some of the other children would answer.

Shortly after Korvo's entrance into the Council room Tu came huffing in looking equally displeased. However, he quickly tried to control his temper reminding himself what his father stressed the most, to be on his best behavior in front of the masters. He fidled with his fingers as he tried to compose himself. He glanced around the room breifly and caught sight of the very ornate windows and marveled at their intraquicy, art always seemed to be a good stress relief for him.

The tall togruta female acknowledged the entrance of the two younglings with a slight nod of her head.
The sith master let out a small "hmph" but did not appear to be particularly inviting or friendly.

"Welcome to the Council Room." Sva' La repeated to the new arrivals. "Please feel free to ask any questions while we wait on the arrivals of your peers."

A pair of green eyes peered cautiously around the doorframe as if unsure of how to continue. Jiri felt terribly out of place, not yet used to the tizowyrm in her ear or the architectural and technological styles of the galaxy at large. She spied a pair of boys about her age already present, along with a pair of adults she supposed could only be the masters, and hoped she wasn't interrupting anything - after all, she understood almost nothing of the culture here, or what was expected of her.

Hearing the tall female master (a certainly fantastic looking alien if Jiri had ever seen one) mention awaiting others in words she would not have understood even a week ago, Jiri stepped the rest of the way around the door and fell into rank near the boys.

She wasn't scared, she reasoned with herself. She was just out of place and had every right to be skittish. Mother and Father were proud of her. Mother and Father were counting on her.

She opened her mouth to speak but quickly shut it, unsure of the syllables the symbiotic creature in her ear was feeding her. Basic was a hideous language and it made her head hurt, but certainly speaking in her native and certainly nobler tongue would get her nowhere. Mother had promised that Jiri would eventually begin to pick up Basic from the tizowyrm, but she couldn't imagine ever putting together sentences in clicky.

"I don't actually speak Basic," she admitted weakly, wincing at the sound of the words coming out of her mouth. Had she really just said that?

Pael enters the room, confident in his stride but a little sheepish at not being the first there. He had been so excited that he missed TooJay making a turn and had wound up going several corridors too far before realizing his mistake. He stands near the other younglings, his heart pounding nervously in his chest. The potential of his future ran circles around his mind and sparkled in his eyes, and despite his nervousness he found it difficult to keep from smiling.

"Oh good, good" The Togruta Master said softly as a few more younglings entered the hard room. Her friendly, yet serene expression had not changed even in the slightest. "I see we have a couple more stragglers joining us." While the Jedi Master's patience seem abundant, the Sith Master's frowned deepened with a growing impatience.

"It certainly took them long enough" The elder human man said with a grunt as he eyed the children contemptuously. Char Langui crossed his arms, as he made eye contact with the few students present. "Where are you're little friends, eh? Did that blasted droid get the rest of them lost? I knew droids could not replace sentient beings in the most simple of tasks!"

Korvo finaly started to relax slightly maybe feeling the infectious glee of Pael, but no less himself nervous than some of the others here as it sunk back in the weight of why they were here in this room. What if they didn't think he would fit what he wanted to be? Would they change their minds at this point?
How many of them were missing, he wondered, glancing back over his shoulder, trying to take a head count from the bustling mob that had been in the other room.
"The lady who pushed Tu down was out there. Why don't you ask her" He snorted, shooting the old man a uncertain look out of the corner of his eye. Were those the teachers? If the old man was the Jedi teacher he was going to be very unpleasently surprised, since he'd had a totaly different impression of what it meant to be "Jedi" before -she- had opened her mouth.

The tizowyrm translated for both masters and Jiri frowned. The more she listened to it, the less she liked its way of doing things. And from how it had translated, one of the masters was a total pushover, and the other was a complete jerk. Jiri wasn't sure she particularly wanted to learn from either one.

Her choice she knew already. She had known it from the day of her birth (possibly previously, though she didn't remember that far back.) She had already chosen the Jeedai path (and though the Tizowyrm insistently told her the word was Jedi in basic, she liked the Yuuzhan Vong pronunciation, finding it to have a musical quality to it.

Having not yet really interacted with anyone at the temple yet, she wasn't sure what the boy next to her meant. And she didn't ask, because she didn't want to hear herself speak Clicky again. What a *horrid* language!

Pael cocked his head, winced for a moment with nervousness, then spoke up. "I'm sure the droid could lead us here very well, he's just not trying hard enough." This was, after all, his personal motto. Can't climb a tree? You're not trying hard enough. Can't fly a ship? You're not trying hard enough. Can't smash a diamond wall with your head? You're not trying hard enough. Impossible was not within Pael's vocabulary. "Like when I was following it here, I missed a turn and got lost. I could've made it here if I had been trying harder." He looks a little ashamed when saying this. Admitting he hadn't been giving something his all was pretty shameful as far as he was concerned, and he had resolved to not make such a mistake again.

"Ah hah... I knew that droid's programming was insufficient." The Sith Master said with a quick rap of his cane. The Togruta female shook her head slightly as she folded her arms across her chest. The Sith master had made a slight force nudge after the boy's comment about the Jedi Knight Kailey Koreco, but she simply ignored it. Kailey will be Kailey afterall.

"Well now, no machine can truly be perfect... or can it?" She mused partly to herself and partly in addressing the younglings. "And thank you for your honesty young Pael, your appreciation of hardwork is quite admirable." She paused to check the time on the chrono on her wrist. Seeing that a substantial amount of time had passed she decided it was time to proceed. She motioned for the Sith master at her side to continue. Catching her glance, Char Langui cleared his throat before beginning.

"Well, there's no use wasting time due to the droid's fallibility. The main issue at hand is your decision to follow the sith or the jedi path." The Sith Master paused as he made eye contact with each youngling. "Korvo? have you decided which path you will take?" His eyes traveled to the Yuuzhan Vong female. "Jiri Yim, have you made your decision?" His gaze finally rested on Pael, the young zabrak male. "And you, Pael, what will be your choice?"

Well, at least he'd gotten her name right, thought Jiri, sniffing as the tizowyrm translated the diminutive man's question. The inflection was a tad off, clearly not used to pronouncing names in the Gods' Tongue, but she could work on that in the years to come.

The Jeedai path, she thought, and the Tizowyrm fed it back to her in Clicky. She mouthed it several times, and the symbiotic biot corrected her pronounciation further. She knew this might make her seem a bit slow, but she didn't want to mess up the most important statement of her life thus far.

"The Jeedai path," she said quietly, and stood expectantly, hoping she hadn't fouled up already.

Korvo looked breifly like he'd like the power to slide through a crack rather than be put on the spot, but rallied again at Jiri's own boldness. If she could do this, so could he. He knew what he wanted...it was up to him to try and get there.
"Jedi." He answered, trying to keep his feet rooted to keep from shuffling nervously. "...I want to be a Jedi."
He couldn't let -her- change his mind...he knew what Jedi were -supposed- to be.

A small squeek emerged from Pael's throat. They had to say already? He swallows, oh well. It's not like there was a lot of a decision for him to make anyways. He didn't want to sit and talk, and especially not to compromise. He stood up tall, trying desperately to hide his nervousness , and spoke with as much strength in his voice as he could muster, "I want to be a Sith."

The Togruta Jedi Master first approached the Yuuzhan Vong child. The girl had been the first to offer her decision to follow the Jedi Path. "Jiri Yim" Sva'La began. "Welcome to the Jedi Temple. I look forward to seeing you develop into a talented Jedi Knight." Finishing her brief confirmation of the young girl's decision, the Jedi Master then turned to her second Jedi youngling. "And Korvo, I welcome you to the Jedi Temple as well. I'm sure both of you two will fit in quite nicely with our current group of Jedi Students." The togruta female smiled at the new Jedi students as she motioned for Char Langui to speak. The Sith Master sought eye contact with his first Sith candidate. "Pael, Welcome to the Sith Temple. I see you are currently the wisest one of this little group" The Master said with a wry smile. "I'm looking forward to beginning your training."

After the acknowledgements and formalities were completed, both Masters turned to address the group in general. "Now that your path has been decided, you will notice that your datapads will reflect the changes. You are also encouraged to begin training lessons at your corresponding temple and begin to get to know your fellow students if you haven't already."

"And speaking of fellow students," The Sith Master interjected. "If you see any of the others lingering in the hallway, please point them in this direction. Those that still need to meet with us are: Grendu Thri'lya, Zain, Skimion, Braith, Anastasia, and Pala'olan."
