Well, I'm glad you asked!... kind of. Now for today's history lesson.
The NAA v2 is the second version of the popular thread that originated in the Welcome to Gaia forum. If you'd like to get really technical, more than likely, this is the third or fourth version. The link to the old NAA can be found here. We had well over two hundred adoptive parents/children. However, due to my growing involvement in my first year of college and Terradi's modship, we were unable to keep alive the sinking agency. So after 1622 pages, and over a year of service, we had to close down the NAA, which is why the thread is locked.
We've made a lot of changes in the old processes however. We have changed our policy on adoption: We will actually help you pair up, rather than just "make it official". We have also grown to the space of a guild, as to allow us more control over the agency. I have also appointed a vice captain to control the crew in the case that I should ever have to quit again.
Why are we here?
We are here to pair up Gaia regulars and newbies to allow them more experience in the world at hand. There's a lot to learn about Gaia, and we want to have the regulars become the teachers/mentors, or the "adoptive parents". We're here to make that happen. Because the NAA was so popular when it was around multiple times, I chose to resurrect it.
We offer a comprehensive community to lead newbies on the right path to become successful on Gaia. I wish each of you the best of luck!

Affiliates:
The quilt will be updated as people choose to affiliate with us. However, in order to become an affiliate, you must bear two things in mind: First, PM NAA Helper. Not me, or Ahaisko, or any of the moderators. If you do, your request will be automatically denied. Secondly, if we link you, we expect the same in return(with the exception of a few guilds). We have carefully reviewed each guild, and they're all newbie-friendly guilds, where you could probably learn a lot. Just click on a block in the link quilt to go to that guild.
