Hidden deep within the vast desert, one of the five great shinobi villages stands. The Village Hidden in the Sand, otherwise known as Sunagakure. This village makes it's profit from the hiring of ninja, all of whom are identified by a symbolic headband crested with their village's symbol. The people of Sunagakure are goverened by and protected by the Kazekage, Gaara, who's calm antics and incredible power keep the village in good order.
As well as home to many ninja that fulfill their lives in Sunagakure, the village is also home to the noted Sand Siblings: Gaara, Kankurou, and Temari.
