So many nights have passed staring at the same temple ceiling. All those long sleepless nights. He was used to it already. He knew exactly how many scratches there were and would notice the new one. This temple was old. Maybe even too old. Sometimes the gold saint would wonder for how many more generations this temple will become home. He did wonder what past saints were doing here when they had these long sleepless nights. Placing one hand at the back of his head he sighed and closed his green eyes. Rolling onto the side the saint tried to get himself to sleep, but these thoughts never left him.
