Welcome to Role-Play Planet (RPP). Here you can learn to RP, host an RP, or observe one. We cater to beginners, intermediates, and experts. We don't punish noobs here, we help them so they can be better. A bit rust? That's ok we make sure there is something to help you get back in the groove of things. Need a break from RPing? We have plenty of Out-Of-Character (OOC) areas that you can talk, trade art/stories, or anything else. So join in and have fun!

What's an RP?
To put it as simple as possible it's a form of group story creation, involving anywhere from two to several hundred people, utilizing public forums, private message-boards, mailing lists, chat-rooms, and instant-messaging chat clients to build worlds and characters that may last a few hours, or several years. Often on forum-based roleplays, rules and standards are set up, such as a minimum word count, character applications and "plotting" boards to increase complexity and depth of story.
