There are forces in the world that we don’t understand; spirits, demons, long forgotten Gods. Powerful and immortal, the Zashiras ruled this world once--long, long ago. We worshiped them as Gods and they treated us humans as slaves. We were insignificant playthings kept for their amusement, but this stage did not last. Now is the time where humans have evolved to create the breed of Vectors. They are our prey, just as we are theirs. We gained a power that could be used against them… The power I now hold… We Vectors use the power of EDGE to possibly surpass these forces. But the Zashiras could not be destroyed………not completely… They walk among us still as powerless Gods unable to affect the material world unless someone invites one inside. Why would anyone let a Zashira take control of one’s body? Intentional maliciousness or just careless stupidity. Either way, we Vectors are the ones who have to deal with these consequences. Once a Zashira is in possession of a body, it always comes after us Vectors. Why they keep pursuing our kind, I don’t know. Or is there something else the Gods want from us Vectors? Maybe something terrible? Whatever it is, we Vectors have taken an oath to do whatever is necessary to stop them without hesitation. I am a Vector, and this is what I do. I am a GOD Slayer.
