The Gaian Literary Elitists Alliance (GLEA) was set up to be just that - an elite society of writers and poets who understand and know what they are doing and trying to say. The expression and technicality of work is this guild is and shall be nothing short of above par in order to develop a flourishing and deep community of literature writings and musings. If you think you have a spark or certain something when writing, please feel free to apply to join this guild (see the requirements below).

This Guild was born from the desire to create worthy literature from the types of poems and prose found in the main Gaia Literature Forum. Founded by me, Nebelstern, and my friend and accomplice and_solo_said, the guild has rigorous standards to keep. As well as prose and poetry competitions with gold prizes, the guild is also a place of communication, amusement and general discussion on topics that could invoke inspiration in others.

How To Apply

As the guild has high standards, the joining conditions are quite thorough. In the box after clicking 'request to join' please enter your username for our reference and underneath that, a short piece of poetry/prose in order for the moderators to evaluate it using the Official GLEA evaluation forms.

The marking system goes as such; if the scores average out 6/10 or above, you shall be accepted into the guild without question. 5.5/10 - 5.9/10, then you shall be accepted into the guild ON THE CONDITION that you provide ANOTHER piece within the next month on the forum for evaluation. If this gains another low mark, then you shall be dropped from the guild. Any score below 5.5/10 on application shall be denied access to the guild. Due to this process, the acceptance or declination into the guild may be delayed slightly.

HOWEVER concessions for non-writers to join the guild will be allowed on the condition that the style of discussion they provide is deemed acceptable by the team. If it is not, they may be banned without warning.
