Two thousand years ago, a young knight came to power upon his father's death. Using his father's army, the greedy knight begand a quest of domination. The world was nearly in his grasp and would have fallen into his hands had it not been for a valiant wizard. Against all odds, he defeated Arkahm in battle. But, instead of killing the knight, the wizard put a curse on him. "You will not die this day," said the wizard, "Instead, you will live a thousand lives. You will watch your empire fall and your armies die until you can atone for your sins."

Soon the knight returned. With his armies rebuild, the knight once again began his quest for world domination, but the ending result would be different this time. The knight had taken the wizard's curse of immortality and used it to his advantage. Now, no one could defeat him. With no other choice, the magician was again forced to do battle with the dark knight. In the end, he was forced to use his own life force to rip open a rift into the shadow universe and cast the knight into it. For the price of his death, he bought salvation for humanity . . . or so he thought.

Now, nearly two millenia later, the dark knight has escaped his shadowy prison. Warped by the darkness, he has become an unstoppable demon. Even now his army grows.
