Welcome to the future home of Gaia's Official Star Trek: Online Guild. Please excuse our appearance while we construct the guild.

Star Trek: Online is a highly-anticipated, but still yet-to-be-developed/released MMORPG (Ma** Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game), based in the fictional "Star Trek" universe, where players will be able to create a character in the Star Trek universe, in a mass multi-player environment, who will play out a career as a Starfleet Officer.

This guild will serve as a community for players of Star Trek: Online, whenever it is finally released, who are also members of Gaia. Right now, the guild is still being constructed. But even if the construction is finished before Star Trek: Online is released, Gaians may still feel free to join, and mix and mingle with other Gaian Star Trek fans while awaiting the game's release.

This morning (July 28th, 200 cool , Cryptic Studios' mysterious countdown timer on their website hit 0. And we have good news: The countdown was indeed regarding Star Trek: Online!; Particularly, their announcement that they (Cryptic Studios) are indeed the new developers of Star Trek: Online, and the re-launch and major overhaul of the Star Trek: Online Official Website. They have also announced, on the new Star Trek: Online website, that Cryptic Studios will reveal the first sneak-peeks at game-play footage of Star Trek Online at the Official Star Trek Convention in Las Vegas on August 10th, 2008 at 1:30 pm PDT (PDT is GMT -7 hrs.). And for those who can't make it to the convention, there will be a live webcast, on the same date and time, on the Star Trek: Online website. Release dates or beta dates/details have yet to be revealed.

In the meantime, you can sign up for the forums, and optionally, the newsletter, on the Star Trek: Online website, and enjoy screenshots of the game as they're released (there's already a small handful of screenshots being displayed).
