Introduction to Guild

Welcome to the guild, Moon Tree. We are a friendly bunch whose goal is to make Gaia a better place free of scammers and hackers. Our guild is free to join with no requirements to join. We hope to include events and contests with prizes for our guild members enjoyment.
We offer help to victims of hacking and trade fraud or scams. We also offer friendly chat with other gaians and new player support for beginning gaians. We of course ask that all guild members obey the rules of the guild and the Terms of Service. Donations to the guild are not a requirement but simply a donation if you want to donate some gold to assist in building the guild's subforums. Veterans and newbies are welcome to join. Let's have fun and play together as Gaia intended!

Guidelines of the Guild

1// After being accepted as a member of Moon Tree it would be best to introduce yourself in the official introduction page.

2// There are seven units and each is managed by a Unit Leader. You will participate and assist your fellow unit members under instruction of your Unit Leader from that point on.

3// New members may choose a Unit to join. Join by going to the according sub-forum and signing up for your desired Unit. Members who have not joined a Unit within 3 days or wished to be placed will have their Unit decided by a Unit Leader.

3// As a unit member you will follow instructions from your Unit Leader and be given tasks such as patrolling the towns or checking Gaia profiles for people or other such things that break the ToS.

4// If you find a hacker/scammer, you will report the username to your Unit Leader and afterward they may, depending on the severity of the situation, report the person to a Gaian moderator.

5// Donating to the guild, helping members, reporting and listening to your Unit Leader will earn you recognition as a member and gain you certain priviledges in the guild.

6// If you are hacked or recieve a message from someone claiming to be an admin or mod and they ask for your password, username or e-mail address, report either to your Unit Leader or directly to an admin or mod by reporting the message.

7// Remember to always have fun in what you do and help promote good will and friendship in Gaia. Be friendly towards not only your guild mates, but also to new players and other users on Gaia.

8// Sometimes you and your unit may be asked to scout the towns for potiential members to join the guild. Remember to be polite always towards others even if they don't deserve it or insult you. Be patient and if they begin to harrass you then you can report them.

9// If there is a Unit Leader position open any member of the guild has a chance to fill it by completing a registration and a test. The registration requirements are the following
-must have played Gaia for one year at least
-must be in at least one other guild
-must be active 3 out of 7 days of the week
-must have posted over 500 posts on Gaia
-must be literate/semi-literate

10// After a person fills the registered requirements, he/she may take the testing to become a Unit Leader. The testing is as followed
-introduction (introduce yourself to the guild)
-commitment (donate 2000 gold to the guild)
-dedication (help three guild members)
-literacy (write six sentences about yourself)
-heart (post a reply to six different topics)
After passing the testing the person will be given leadership of one of the seven available units and there after will be the Unit Leader of that unit and will be promoted to crew status.
