Welcome to the Ater Aethra: The Other Side of Heaven. For those of you who don't brush up on Latin too often...Ater means Dark & Aethra means Heaven or Sky. Welcome to a world away from the obvious...to live in worlds that we create and we control. Remember...the world is what you make it, don't let anyone make you think otherwise.
All Gaians are welcome & I encourage all to spread the word about this guild so we can all be one, big, happy family. This guild will cover role-playing to the max, all kinds. All people are accepted whether you're an experienced RPer or new...the only way to gain experience is to actually RP.
I request mostly semi-lit to lit RPs but if you want to keep simple to script writing like I usually do, that's fine too...just make sure you indicate the style at the start of RPs.
You knew they were coming...The Rules.
1.) I really don't mind god-moding as long as you know when to stop...sometimes it's necessary for certain characters but don't make me or a mod call you on it...
2.) Cybering? No one wants to know what you do in your personal Gaian life...& if they do, I'd rather not know their hobbies either so that's a no-no. Keep it to yourself.
3.) No flaming other people...this may be the Other Side of Heaven but it still isn't Hell. But I can be the devil if I catch it...
4.) If you have any problems, let me or a mod know & we'll help you with it.
5.) Don't worry about how much you can get on...as a student, I know it can be hard to get on as much as some guilds would expect. You won't be banned for inactivity...you just won't be involved.
6.) ...I...hate...RamPAGEing! The definition of RamPAGE in this guild is when 2 or 3 characters go on a streak of just writing amongst themselves while there are many other characters being ignored. Characters fade...stories become isolated to only those few...it's not the point of these RPs. I have no objection to a few people coming together and creating RPs just for them...it may be easier that way.
7.) Lucky number 7...other than the rules already stated, I don't really care...the world is at your command...remember that.
