Some have infinitely high numbers of tiny rules, we have three big ones

==>First and foremost all words written within the ToS; they are less rules than they are law. The breaking of these will not only result in the loss of your join-up fee and guild membership, but may perhaps even lead to the inactivation of your account depending on the severity of your crime.


==>Beyond enforcing the respect owed to the ToS our primary goal is the support and ultimate hapiness of our members (because I am human). However this atmosphere of support cannot be maintained if certain nameable things are to happen.

-------->any other acts deemed purposefully disruptive or hateful in nature


==>Exercise prudence. Although believe it or not I do have a sense of humor and consequences of light-humored but indirectly troublesome acts will more than likely be met with little more than a warning. However, conversely it is also recognized that some acts are so uniquely fiendish or unsettling that they cannot be caught on paper with a statement blocking only simplicities. Therefore here common sense and politeness of speech and thought is the only guideline; And so it is that while we can tolerate copious amounts of good-humored disorder and promote fun we leave it to you to handle the manner responsibly...but it is wisely recommended that you recognize discretion.















Sometimes we forget...

In a world where infamy rides free and death smiles down upon our earth's conquerers we find that honor is a word that now is rarely found except in the pages of history's texts. Years ago our imaginations were filled with the dreams of courageous knights who sought only the safety and love of his princess no matter the cost to himself; consequently we dreamed tales worthy of the most epic of novels. yet in stark contrast to old dreams we now we live in the perhaps the most dangerous of times. The world is changing fast and the brave warriors of the past becoming quickly forgotten. Religion is considered by some to be nothing but an ill-begotten dream and every hope once aspired to is thrown down in favor of cold practicality.
No longer do we live in a world where men change lives, instead we live in a world where life has changed men. But the past must not be forgotten, in order to save our future we MUST remember our past. For eventually it is so that we too shall fade away in the depths of time, that do quickly our time of action is gone and eternal watching begun. As long as we have life we must use it, because all that remains should our duty be inadequate is to sit and let the world fall idly by into darkness. in the words of Edmund Burke, "The only way for evil to triumph is if good men do nothing." in the words of George Orwell, "He who controls the past, controls the future; he who controls the present controls the past."
Know this: Today WE are the good men, today WE control the present which in turn becomes the past that dictates the future, today WE must be our own future. Stand up for your hopes, Stand up for your beliefs, Stand up for all the good men to come! We cannot let humanity's solemn light flicker and die in the hands of fools; we must be the new generation.
But then...sometimes we forget.






Point of the poem: he died doing something equatable to courage even if motives are misplaced. The gathering of the past statetement is to be known through implication rather than linearized reading. I know it's quite basic and in it I temporarily put aside any figurative language, however it was something I scrapped together in literally 15 minutes so allow me some slack. Anyway, I guess I was kinda saying...life is too short to waste, so spend it doing something good. If you're going to join this guild then just as with all things you should aspire for your best. Perhaps not in dedication to the guild because we all do have lives...but to be in support of those who need it. I plan on opening up a "support" subforum when we get enough members to benefit from one. I will act harshly and with the greatest possible venom I can summon upon anyone who deliberately attacks someone in the support forum. Be warned, there is no reprieve.


This guild is dedicated to ourselves. Sounds funny yes, but means more. Every person that should endeavour to join this guild joins it with the hope of a better world, and all people who would work for it are worthy of recognition. This guild is dedicated to them. And so, this guild is dedicated to us. (minus me)

P.S. the reason this guild is marked as a 'Battle' type is dual-fold. Firstly, as a gamer I look forward to the release of the battle system. Secondly, I feel that if you work to fulfull all fruitful hopes then you are constantly embattled. However not against a foe that can be won against with any type of blade (hence the reason this is battle and not military) but rather the type of battles of morale conviction that must first be won against ourselves before we can do anything...worth everything.


Final Note: While I realize there's a hefty entry fee it's to guarantee that anyone who registers into the guild does it for only that reason and is not simply hunting down guild memberships for bragging rights. Although if I find someone who is lacking in funds but plentiful in honor and general 'goodness' then I shall deeply consider covering the costs for them, but before reasoning your plee be wary because my judgement is keen and wrath quite sharp.
